I second the syringa! It was a miracle to find an incarnation of my favorite bloom in a fragrance, they really captured it well. It was a blind buy and I couldn't be happier with having taken that risk. I may be biased, but this frag feels otherworldly, the ethereal mock orange scent blends perfectly with a sensual musk. And yes, it awakens the image of moonlit syringa alleys... Sillage and longevity are really good. My late grandma's flat had a gigantic bush basically peeking into the windows in the living room and as a kid I couldn't wait for it to be June again so that I could smell this goodness while visiting my grandparents. Almost two decades have passed, I don't have anyone to visit there anymore, but I still come every year to stand under that bush. So glad to have this fragrance as a beautiful memento now. Makes one remember that perfumes truly are works of art!

This is Philadelphus Starbright (Mock Orange, Serynga, Seringa, жасмин-чубушник). Absolutely fantastic perfume which makes me think of my Homeland, brings old memories of long forgotten summer nights, when I used to walk through Serynga alleys and the air was full of their intoxicating aroma. LOVE it and can't thank the perfumer enough for bringing this wonderful scent into my life! The perfume is so intense that one spray at the back of my neck and I am back to those fragrant summer nights...

Another 4 years went by after my first review, and the juice in the bottle of mine only keeps getting better as it matures! It now gives off a truly intoxicating yet gentle smell of those syringa alleys at night. Another hot summer came, and I did visit that big old syringa bush again. This frag is truly syringa encapsulated with some musk added. I can’t get enough of it!
