Chosen

Chosen is so stunning. It's hard to believe that this is a cheap celebrity perfume. It smells like a million dollar honestly. Contrary to it being classified as a gourmand, plus all the gourmand notes seemingly dominant to a lot of people commenting here, to me this perfume is rather oriental floral-fruity. On my skin the caramel is barely there while the patchuli, peach, pear and rose take the centre stage (rose is actually one of the notes listed on her website), with the musky vanilla in the background. It's amazing. It's funny how different our olfactory senses are and how we compare Chosen to perfumes that are so vastly different! so I'm going to cheekily add one too. Chosen reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle. Not exactly the same of course. While the exact dupe of Coco Mademoiselle is Sofia by Sofia Vergara, Chosen also has the Coco Mademoiselle vibe only a tiny bit warmer, slightly sweeter (and more interesting in my opinion). It's feminine, fresh, so elegant and polished. Sillage is huge on my skin. Two sprays and I'm ready for the office (I prefer my perfume to sit closer to the skin rather than filling the room) Longevity is great. The dry down lasts all day at work (7-8 hrs) So glad to have this perfume in my collection!

Adore the beautifully shaped bottle & stunning scent.Longevity & sillage are great,lingers fabulously.A pleasure to wear,resembles Flowerbomb by Victor & Rolf & La Vie Belle by Lancome but lighter in comparison.Absolutely lovely ☺

I have got a new fav perfume! -I blindly bought this gem, and I'm so very happy :) This perfume smells a bit like Britney Spears VIP, only it's much better, and specially if you like caramel =))

Usually I'm not fond of all the fragrances that have been mentioned in the reviews beneath (e.g.,Scandal by JPG, Mon Guerlain, Flowerbomb, La Vie est Belle by Lancome,.., etc), but to be honest I found Chosen really a classy perfume that lies under the patchouli- sweet category!! Nice mix of vanilla, caramel, pear, and patchouli, Pear is absolutely the prominent note; thanks God it is not super sweet, so it doesn't irritate me; however, despite of the lovely mixture it offers, nothing really memorable IMHO, but I'm happy to have it in my collection, and to use it from time to time, I didn't regret buying it at all. sillage and longevity: moderate. Sweet sweetie. Definitely has LVEB dna, a fragrance I adored. Wasn’t expecting it to be as well rounded and sophisticated as it is. It has depth, not a hollow or airy scent, quite heavy but I only gave this a like not love because it’s gone in 30min. I had to leave it to mature on and off for years to improve longevity. The longer I left it the better it got and would use it intermittently to see how it was developing. So finally after 9 years when it got to a decent longevity it was almost finished. Blind bought for the bottle. Sweet, touch of freshness. Fruity, caramel, gorgeous. 🩷🍐🌸🌱🍮🤍

My first impression is that this is in the same category as Rihannas Reb'l Fleur and Hard Candy. Quite strong and sweet and fruity. I can definitely detect the warmth of the amber and the sweet smooth caramel combined with the fruits. Not sure about longevity yet as I've just opened my bottle but sillage seems pretty good. It seems to be more of a mature sweet perfume rather than a girly one. That being said, any age range could wear this . If you like sweet perfumes, you can't go wrong with this one.

This was a blind buy, and I'm not disappointed to own this but I can't say I love it. This is nice, sweet along the lines of a drugstore La Vie A Belle but when you first spray it all you can smell is toilet spray and that lasts for the first 3-5minutes after that this developes into a wonderful cloud of peach and caramel sweetness and projects very well for 2-3 hours, after that it lasts close to the skin for the next 2 hours, for £9.99 for 100ml can't really complain.

I like it. Fruity, then more vanilla with patchouli. A bit strong that’s why I’m hesitant about it, but surprisingly nice at the first spray. Kinda fresh was the first impression, then somehow heavy. Quite well rounded. I also have a body mist, which is more delicate. I wish other Nicole’s perfumes were easier to get. I’m a big fan of hers. Edit: it’s super beautiful. Patchouli is not strong, I can smell caramel and vanilla with fruity notes. Amazing!

Surprising little gem of a scent. Really lovely fruity sweet start, drying down to a creamy caramel vanilla. I think this is a safe blind buy. The sillage is low, and it quickly goes to a skin scent on me and lasts about 2 hours. I've got a full bottle and will happily work my way through it over these cooler months.

Peachy Caramel with vanilla musk, not my most favourite kind of smell but still very nice. This is stronger version of Paris Hilton's CanCan.

A good fruity and caramel perfume that I throw on when I don’t know what to wear.

What a great dupe for Flowerbomb!!

Nicole Scherzinger is a singer I admire. Not only is she the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, but she's also a seasoned musical theatre performer with an impressive vocal range that not many people know she has. I was watching a tour of Nicole's house on YouTube, where she took her viewers on an expansive tour throughout her stunning LA home. In her bathroom she displayed a vast array of fragrances, including Chanel Coromandel, Frederic Malle Outrageous, Dior Ambre Nuit and Byredo's La Tulipe, to name a few. She appeared to have great taste in perfume, so I was extra curious to sample her fragrance, Chosen. Chosen by Nicole Scherzinger is a very pretty, feminine fragrance, however, it does feature a lot of sweetness. I had hoped to smell something a little more 'punchy' and unique, but I know it's a huge ask for a celebrity fragrance to be these things, especially when they're designed to appeal to the younger female consumer. The opening consists of juicy pear, soft peach and a subtle hint of sour apple. This fruity opening is short-lived on the skin, as it quickly dries down to a smooth caramel, vanilla, patchouli and musk blend. The vanilla, patchouli and caramel bring to mind other sweet fragrances like Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum and Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb. If you enjoy either of these two fragrances, you may enjoy Nicole Scherzinger's Chosen. Chosen doesn't have the strongest projection on the skin, but it does last approximately 6-7 hours. Despite the vanillic sweetness, Chosen is a very pleasant, easy to wear fragrance that would appeal to a young woman in her 20s or someone that loves sweet vanilla scents.

I have snatched a gift set of this for £5 yesterday completely blindly at Superdrug, The positioning of perfume in that chain is triggering fight or flight mode with me either ending up with ridiculous spontaneous purchases or running away empty handed just in order to avoid the scorn of the annoyed cashier. As I was eating my takeaway meal on the stairs of the monument in the city I have sprized the travel spray on my wrists and initially was about to regret this purchase as it seemed to cheap, synthetic and horrible. But I must admit it has grown on me. I do find it very similar to LVEB, but less hysterical if I could say so, but also lacking the depth of LVEB. As someone has mentioned before it is a missh mash of stuff that was trendy in 2017, but in a more boring way attempting to be a croudpleaser. I like how it sort of feels comforting, as if lack of originality is a new kind of strength. It's like a soothing background music I used to depend in my higly stressful last job.

I love this. It reminds me La Petite Robe Noire by Guerlain, but at less than half the price. It is, modern, sweet, fruity, with a seductive backdrop of warm honey and amber. It smells expensive. I like people to know I'm wearing perfume, so I heavily envelop myself in it, and I can afford to very easily with this, at just £10 for 100ml EDP from Savers. It was a blind buy, but I am so pleased I went for it. The scent lingers all day too, especially on clothes. And the bottle is classy- definitely worthy of my dressing table, not resigned to a drawer with the ugly/cheap looking bottles. It isn't exactly like, but is in a similar vein, to other favourites of mine such as the original Jimmy Choo perfume (that one has a bit more of an punchy floral note), and Alien, and Ghost Deep Night which are both less sweet but just as intoxicating. The advertising description for Ghost Deep Night resonates with me about this one- 'embracing warmth...a heady, intoxicating aura'.

I purchased this as I generally love sweet Caramel , vanilla scents. I liked flowerbomb but found this no way compares to flowerbomb. I don't detect the similarity. It's nothing like flowerbomb. The pear is very prominent as is the musk. The pear is too prominent In my opinion. The vanilla and caramel does seem to give it warmth but I dont detect caramel in the scent. It dries down to a powdery pear musk with just a subtle hint of floral and vanilla. Scent dosent really develop and lacks depth I would say this is aimed at a more mature audience rather than young girls. It's nice but it's not memorable. I struggle to find a balance between the pear and musk with this scent. The pear is quite overwhelming. I'm not entirely sure the pear meshes well with the musk in my opinion

I am so in love with this! Bought it very cheap online as a blind buy, as the notes sounded like something in my taste. And it sure was! In the beginning it is very peachy and fruity, but quickly dries down to a very ripe pear with vanilla and patchouli and soaked in caramel. I always love a good ol' sweet caramel/vanilla/patchouli fragrance, and this is no exception. It is in the same family and has same vibe as Lancôme 'La Vie Est Belle', Jean-Paul Gaultier 'Scandal', Elie Saab 'Girl of Now' and Viktor & Rolf 'Flowerbomb' - the sweet, gourmand patchouli fragrances that are very popular for the time being. Very good projection, great lasting power, bottle is very pretty - a true little gem, especially for the price :) Highly recommend it :)

I got it really cheap on half price offer in sports direct yesterday. I wanted to love it because l like the caramel and pear notes in perfumes, l thought it could smell a little bit like Jessica Simpson Fancy, but this is different. I do like the opening much more then the drydown. The opening is nice smooth caremal/peach/pear/vanilla on my skin which is really creamy and it remind me of a nivea cream for some reason. Afters like 10 minutes it's start to change l do get some more sharp notes of white flowers mixed with patchouli and lots of musk which l don't like I will try to test it for a few more days to see if l will change my opinion obout it.

Picked this up for less than £4 for 30ml. Glad it’s only a small bottle as this is just pleasant in my opinion. I’m a fan of Nicole as an artist but only bought due to the bargain price really. I’ll gladly wear frags marketed as ‘female’ - no concerns there - however, my issue is that the fruity notes are gone in a matter of minutes and now I’m just left with the vanilla, caramel and a hint of patch maybe? I haven’t owned many of these fruitchoulis myself, but I did briefly own Wish by Chopard and this shares the same rice pudding type vibe

Fruitier, younger version of ch good girl LEGERE (dulce de leche in CH and caramel-vanilla here). If you are looking for office-friendly alternative and layer CH in the evening- spray well in the evening on blotters, put them in the another room away from you through the night and compare the next morning. Not identical, but quite good a daytime option and at a great price. It's as if juicy couture is layered with chgg LEGERE or ... actually the other way around :)

I've tried this again and I like it. It is a fair old mish-mash of popular scents though. There's a bit of everything in here e.g. Mon Guerlain, LVEB, JPG Scandal, Britney Fantasy, CK Reveal and Flowerbomb. I bought a bottle from the Perfume Shop (UK) for £9. I like sweet scents so this is up my alley. Performance is light but at its price point its perfectly acceptable. It's made by Laurelle Parfum, known for a range of budget fragrances in the UK.

This is just amazing! I have seen this in Chemist Warehouse for months and for some reason never smelt it as i have no idea who she is. Asked the girl if i could smell it this morning and Wow... This is lovely. Its got a bit of LVEB, Flowerbomb Mon Guerlain and JPG scandal. A warm fruity, patchouli with a lovely sillage and great lasting power. Wish i had tried this sooner, for $25 this is a total steal i highly recommended it...

This is being compared to LVEB & flowerbomb.. I sampled it & I don't see the comparisons.. It's a watered patchouli with a little sweetness added to it. I have LVEB & flowerbomb, these two have sillage & longevity. Chosen does not. You can find it for 25-30 dollars.. Go figure.

Further to my previous post I have worked out that it is a very powdery fragrance on my skin. I cannot wear this. I have given this bottle away. Lucky it wasn't expensive.

I got mine today and love love love it,s my favorit ,smelling it all day and i'm heaven i bougt it on ebay and i have waited to have this perfum for over 10 months :)

Not sure what is going on with this perfume. It kinda smells like insect repellent on me?

My first impression is that this smells similar to the new JPG Scandal.
