Night De Paris Fiori

This is a must have for spicy saffron lovers. If you like BR 540, or any derivative thereof, but don’t like taking the chance that the fecal note will be noticeable, then this is a better option. This is elevated saffron, but not the leathery type. I really love the spice in this. I don’t really get the cotton candy note in this one either, which makes it even a little more unique than its inspiration, but there is a mild sweetness to this one, too. This is a great value, the bottle and packaging are very nice, and the sprayer is superb. I think this could also be worn in all seasons.

It is very similar to BR540. A little less sweet, and little more bitter to start. Lasts for decades. I sprayed it on at 6:30 am on a Friday morning, went to work, went straight to a dinner/party at a friends house afterwards and when I got home at 1am it was still going. My jacket on the other hand held on to it for 2 weeks in my closet. Great for the price especially at fragrance outlet where you can get 50% off if you buy something else.

It smells great projects in the winter.

Corroborating the other reviewers, it has a similar vibe Ariana Grande Cloud(which is purportedly similar to baccarat 540), and can be picked up pretty cheap at outlets that do the buy 1 get the rest 50%(though you pay full price on the most expensive bottle). Warm and spicy, but sweet and musky as well, the perfumer at the shop specifically recommended this when I asked for something androgynous and I agree, though possibly too sweet for some men. If you spray it on clothing you'll be able to smell it until you wash it off. On that note, the skin scent is the only gripe I have with this. If I sniff the area that I applied it after a while of wearing it, it's a very sharp spicy smell without the amer and sweetness that I don't enjoy. Doesn't affect the sillage, but it's there if you get close. With the longevity on this you might be able to just apply it to your clothes and avoid that, but I haven't tried it as yet.

If you want baccarat rouge 540 but cannot afford it I would go with this fragrance. The opening is very strong and almost has a rubbery smell to it. It’s similar to baccarats sweetness but this one is way more harsh on the nose. Baccarat rouge is sweet but it’s like an airy subtle sweet. It’s also beautifully blended and smells smooth and sexy. Fiori is not. It seems like they went a little over board on the saffron and musk. The smell is practically the same but again Fiori is so strong when you smell it. Fiori performs like a beast. You can EASILY get at least 10 hours of this fragrance with literally one spray. I’m glad they finally added the night de Paris fragrances on fragrantica because I’ve been waiting to talk about how this is similar to baccarat. If you don’t want to break the bank with baccarat go with this. Fiori is just muskier stronger and will give you a headache after you wear it for an hour. If you like how baccarat smells get Fiori. I would give this fragrance a 6/10 but baccarat is better because it’s crafted and blended so well compared to this. I’ve only wore this fragrance about 5 times so the Bottle is practically full.
