Sculpture Homme God's Night

Sculpture Homme God's Night by Nikos is a LITTLE SPICY + MILDLY SWEET + CREAMY + FRESH-INCENSE(Y); Mildly sweet (not as sweet and feminine as HiM by Hanae Mori), a little spicy (cardamom + pepper), creamy (vanilla), a little musky and incensey. The fig, mandarin orange along with the cardamom and pepper gives it a spicy tart sweetness and a little warmth, then the vanilla adds in some creaminess making it slightly gourmandish but the musk adds some clean freshness while vetiver adds a light incense dark accord; the composition of Sculpture God's Night is very well done all the notes blend together and compliment each other to create a GREAT SMELLING scent. Not made with niche' quality ingredients but not too synthetic either, however, it smells expensive/classy like a fragrance that a person with money would wear. Definitely a 'hidden gem'. Projection/Sillage: GOOD, very aromatic w/ good 'scent bubble' for about 2-3 hours, radiates within 10 feet Performance/Longevity: DECENT, will last on avg about 4-5 hours

It is the best possible substitute for the Gucci Pour Homme II. I found only one slight difference , namely the second accord reminds me of tea from L'Eau Bleue d'Issey Pour Homme Issey Miyake but after that it ends upe like GPHII. Secondly, I think it's longevity is actually better than that of Gucci Pour Homme II. I think I will buy the spare bottle. Go for it If you look for the Gucci Pour Homme II substitute (and forget the Hanae Mori HIM which is not even close to GPHII).

It's sweet & has that fresh-grass vibe. In the dry down I also smell some tea for some reason. But not the most masculine. I'd love to go to sleep smelling like this though. I'd say the original Sculpture is better despite this being a little more expensive.

Since this frag is hard to find, I'm glad I was able to buy a two 10 ml decants from ebay. It was a blind buy and after testing, yes I like this one especially that tea vibe. Although I haven't put my nose yet on GPHII, which this one is being compared to, I do appreciate this kind of scent profile. This is a good addition to my collection. However I also have HiM by Hanae Mori, another frag being compared to the discontinued GPHII. When I compared side by side, the tea here in Sculpture is more prominent compared to HiM, and if there are other differences that made this one closest to the original, in my case that remains to be seen since I have not tried the OG yet. Between this one and HiM by Hanae Mori, I would prefer the latter, regardless if this one is closest to the original and that's according to my nose. Reason being is I love the scent profile of HiM plus its performance and projection are great on my skin. If some reviewers are saying that HiM deviates from the original during the mid or dry down, then that's a big plus for HiM in my honest opinion because that deviation is what captures my olfactory attention. Or its safe to say that HiM has its own character and personality that can stand alone, but with some similarities to GPHII which ordinarily happens among fragrances. If some folks says that HiM is more similar to the OG, still I haven't figured that out as well. Furthermore, when I compared the dry down, HiM still emerge as the much better one compared to this one. Well, I guess pretty soon I could put my nose on the discontinued OG. My rate for Sculpture Homme Gods Night is 8/10 “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. Very nice scent. I bought it as I wanted to keep my discontinued Gucci Pour Homme II in reserve which this is often compared to. It's very close but misses out on that special tea note which makes GPHII so good. This has a nice solid atomiser that really pumps out a good blast and you'll need it as you'll want to do about 10 sprays as longevity and performance isn't great. The cap is plastic but also acts as the base as this is a weird upside-down design presenting a sail, artifact, or a gemstone(?) Open to interpretation. My bottle always manages to find itself laying flat on my fragrance drawer. This scent has a good mix of cardomom, fig, and warm spice. The warm spice sticks around the most as it settles in and lingers more than anything else. I picked up something synthetic with my first spray on skin, however this went away immediately. Not the greatest in performance, sillage, or projection. I find that you must over-spray to get overall performance. Opening is medium strength, heart notes are weak, and the base notes are where it picks up lasting roughly 4 hours. This is an intimate smell, more for yourself or anybody that gets in close. Office friendly assured. You can wear it suited up or flipping burgers at a family get together but the burger smoke might just overrun the fragrance. Very versatile however more for cooler months and rainy days. While I find this to be leaning more male, the right kind of female can pull this off quite well and be a confidence booster especially in the office. I give it a 6.80 out of 10. If it had the tea notes and better performance I would give it a 8.5 out of 10.

In search of the best possible substitute for the sadly discontinued Gucci Pour Homme II, having so far tried God's Night, Hanae Mori HiM and Police Forbidden. Of the three, I'd immediately disqualify Forbidden for its weirdly discordant 80s women's perfume vibe and one of the crappiest bottle lids I've ever run across. But that's all fodder for another review... Of the remaining two would be replacements, I'd give God's Night just a slight edge over "HiM" for top marks, mainly because it comes in a bit spicier and brighter, whereas HiM is a bit too heavy on sweet elements, effectively dumbing down any piquant notes it may have. Neither opens with quite the brightness or complexity of GPH II, and neither has those complimentary violet and pimento notes that I've come to appreciate in the OG, but I do pick up that familiar and comforting spiced black tea vibe in God's Night. On the down side, you can forget about longevity and sillage - but it's cheap; just spray some more. Overall, I think Nikos has a winner here, in spite of its obvious flaws. And it can be had for a very thrifty price point at that. Bottle's kinda cool, too. If only they came out with an EDP version...

Is cheap, smells cheap. BUT for the price OK. I like the combination of vanilla and cardamom in general. Was my summer holiday scent last year and I quite enjoyed it even in the heat of the beach. The cardamom and vetiver spice the fragrance up so that the vanilla does not get to prominent like in an cold-weather scent. Still vanilla provides a certain sweetness that makes it sexy. This also has some "douchebaggy" vibe. Like that guy that wears a fake Gucci basecap and LV slippers. But I did not mind. I wore it with linen shirts and pants. It has certain similarities to Gucci pour homme II but GPH II is much better blended and smells overall less cheap and more sophisticated. Also, the very prominent tea note in GPH II is missing in this. For the younger crowd ~17-30 yo and occasion is definitely casual. I also can imagine myself wearing it at a summer party.

Great substitute for Gucci Pour Homme II... right down to the performance, lol. Like OnTheMark below me, I was looking for a suitable replacement for GPHII so it didn't feel like I was literally spraying away dollars every time I wore it. Hanae Mori HiM is a terrific fragrance that opens similar to GPHII, but goes its own way in the drydown, down a route that's just a tad too sweet for me. God's Night is a little closer to what I'm looking for. It doesn't have that alluring combination of tea and violet leaf - the tea is kind of there, but not as pronounced - and of course it doesn't smell quite as expensive. But ultimately, it gets the job done. You can wear this anytime and anywhere and get the exact same vibe as you would from GPHII - just make sure you bring the bottle or an atomizer so you can reapply every few hours.

Due to hot weather I got myself another bottle of this Nikos and started blind tests with GPH II across my friends. The results? As I expected, almost identical. No one was able to smell the difference. They are almost exact same scents but Nikos has better parameters & performance. It is also cheap in terms of price so over-spraying will not hurt your wallet :) Overall I would say they are about 90% similar. Its another CAHS vs VPH case. Both Gucci and Nikos belongs to COTY so I suspect they have some common ingredients despite different official notes breakdown provided (I am not the only one who smells tea in Skulpture that is not listed). Final conclusion is that if you miss discontinued GPH II and seeking the best clone on the market just simply grab this gem. You will not be disappointed.

Nice little perfume, smells like a variation of Minotaure, haven't tried Gucci Pour Homme II, so I can't comment on similarity. If it were a tad sweeter I wouldn't like it, it's pretty sweet and I'm not into sweet fragrances, but this one is not so overly kitsch dense like some sweet "niche" scents, it's more airy, and because of that wearable for me. First two hours it projects strong, after that it calms down and gets a bit less sweet, besides that, it's pretty linear, except for the farthest dry down, which is beautiful vanilla. I have 2016 batch and longevity is about 12 hours. For the money it's best buy. (Edit: JOOP! WOW! is more refined and a bit better version of this, great scent!) 8/10

It is ok. It just seems like the blend is a bit off. Certain notes jump up too much, others hide while it would be better they did not. I liked it but could not find a reason to wear it. Maybe a mid summer stroll on a secluded beach would wake this scent up properly... End note: Wife thought it was really nice (and safe).

simply this Nikos is Gucci Pour Homme II clone in more fancy bottle. Both brands own by COTY. Got this gem for 10 euros and I will never buy GHPII again cause it's overpriced considering this gem being in stock. (⌐ ͡■ ͜ʖ ͡■)

At last I have tried Gucci Pour Homme II, God's Night is a 1:1 clone, just a bit more synthetic, the tea note is full present at least till the second half of drydown.

Yes it is a great replacement of Gucci Pour Homme II So, if you loved Gucci Pour Homme II and you miss it, I think this can be a great replacement.

Discontinued. Was a solid release with good price/value. Quite sweet and linear though.

I have had the original since forever, and I really like that scent (and the price of it). I just tested a sample of this flanker in the store, but I don't recommend it. Although the Warm Spicy part is similar to Gucci Pour Homme 2, it is nothing like that scent. It may be cheap, but it's a scent that doesn't have any signature or own characteristics like Gucci PH. God's Night was also hidden on the lowest shelf, in the corner. Usually not a good sign. It would be better to spend a few euros more and get a perfume with a bit more character. If you are looking for an affordable all-round smell, you should buy the original Sculpture. It's a timeless recommendation!

BAD,I had the chance of seeing it yesterday in Marvimundo,a parfums shop here in Spain and this was almost hidden down in the last corner along original Sculpture,it was priced 17 euros the 100 mls bottle...doesnt smell Sculpture at all,its softer and much more anonymous,and VERY short lasting,leaved no impression at all,bland,generic...a big dissapointment

I got this one for 12€ and i thought: gods night, the name of something massive, oppulent, heartbreaking, but no. It only works on warm/hot days and the best i can smell it is 2hours top..

Just weeks before Christmas, it reminded me of intrigue, a tall dark stranger enters a country pub where each and every person knows all exepet the mysterious stranger dressed in a long coat, exactly tailored to a svelt pyhsique and for a minute the patrons of pub goes quite. The Landrd pours a Lagvulin 16 y.o Islay malt in a trance like state never having met the stranger but knows of his tipple. Whilst at the bar the men hate this roguish character, for he hath dark skin and their women swoon. I guess it it is like when a man comes in uniform in Wartime Britain who has silk stockings for sale and the women cometh unto him.Like the pied piper he knows exactly the effect. A dark melodic scent it has a woodsy, bitter coffee smell evoking a winter scent. A warm fire side with Old English Oak is placed on the fire, a slight sweetness from the plum pudding steeping in a a vintage port. This is a winters tale story. Evocative embracing and totally unique I think all the Nikos fragrances go beyond, to the times of Plato, Apollo, Aristotle and Zeus. It certainly is from the Gods, and upon wearing it and going to a quaint place a women came unto him and his smell and sayth, for it smells so good I could eat you! It has the sentiment of a Angle sent to earth who Earth women find irresistible. He smiles has a slur of his whisky and he puffs on his cigar, when the the women asks if she can try his drink and partake in his cigar. He then gets duffed up by the men who resent him!

The Greek God takes a shower! But in a heavenly way! Yes! It's another perfect scent from the legendary Nikos! I like it so much! At first it's like a prescious ginger ale scent. The cardamom makes it so spicy like YSL La nuit de l' Homme, but it lasts longer on my skin. It's a great holiday or evening fragrance. This scent makes you feel fresh and gives that effect upon you as if you had a sculptured God's body! It doesn't matter what kind of clothes you wear this scent undresses you! Erotic, sexy and manly, it gives you the magic power to seduce anybody;-) Because of Vanilla and vetiver combo comes a special tenderness , and fig gives a great fruity effect while wearing it! Sooo perfect, i'm happy to have it! The original Sculpture is my favourite as well, but i like this one so much how it works! It's another warm manly scent. I always get compliments and hungry eyes with it! It lasts at least 5-6 intensive hours on my skin, but after 12 hours it is still positively noticeable, especially when somebody is close to your body.... You better try it soon;-) The price is friendly as well.

17 euro's?, probably wrong....... they priced it like the original Sculpture. In here it just arrived @ 63 euro retail for a 100 ml. Edit 8 dec: I blind bought it last week with 25% off.....now I see it on sale in the retailshop for.... YES .....17,99 euro. I can see why it is so cheap....on first spray and also a while later I smell barely nothing. If you burry your nose in it you smell a little fig. The original Nikos is a nice and longlasting one, this one is not even worth the 17,99 euro. for now 3/10 Maybe it performs better in warmer weather.... Edit: 1 feb 2017 Yes, I sprayed Gucci Pour Homme II to see, it smells alike in the heart notes with the pepper. That also is not loud but i can smell it a little better. Can not tell about the base...

As stated below, this is very similar to Gucci Pour Homme 2. I'd say 90-95% similar. Only the pickiest of critics would say it doesn't smell the same. If performance was a little better, I'd call this a gem in the cheapie category. It's not as long-lasting as the original Sculpture PH. However, for anyone looking to replace Gucci PH 2 for a cheaper alternative, this is it. Sculpture God's Night is a nice fragrance in its own right, and got me compliments the first time I wore it. It's in the same beautiful bottle as the original Sculpture. Good stuff.

I love this fragrance, even though longevity isn't great but I over spray it and it works and for the price wow. I believe it's discounted but I was lucky enough that I was in an old perfume shop and I saw tester bottles there and I asked if they were for sale and yes I got 3 100ml bottles and I returned later to the same shop and he said sorry they were 5 and they sold the other 2. It reminds me a lot of Gucci pour homme 2 which I also have. Very elegant smell.

I gave this eau de toilette a second chance . Bought in January I admit the longevity and sillage were not present . Now in July , in the south of France , the amber side of this fragrance along with the subtle aroma of fig fruit really develops and shineson the skin Than I thought ! So better in warm weather !

I can't wait to try it..!! i love original sculpture its so unique,fresh and sweet in the same time.. and this one sounds delicious..
