Glad my wife found this house! Okay so! My wife ran into these fragrances and insisted she had to buy me one.. I wasn’t sure which one to buy so I researched and debated, and researched some more and finally decided this one.. The more and more I sniff it, the more and more I like it.. So here is my review.. First off, the presentation is really nice.. comes in a very nice box with a velvet area where the bottle fits snug.. The bottle is heavy and the cap is metal with a plastic inside.. The cap is snug fit and it’s got some heft to it.. Really nice presentation.. So, why did I choose this one? I found that the note breakdown was most interesting.. And is it ever! The opening: This fragrance opens similar to Declaration from Cartier or Bleu Noir for Men by Narciso Rodriquez.. Almost goes the direction of a barbershop.. Toward the dry down, it turns dark and smoky.. I get a burning barbershop by DS Durga vibe. Which took time to get used to.. There is a vetiver feel about this, surprised vetiver is not a note.. As for the fans of rose, I don’t detect rose in this at all.. which is good cause I am not a fan of heavy florals.. This stuff is very nice and classy.. The wife actually really likes this on me.. It is very interesting and it is different.. I sprayed two sprays on my arm about 5 hours ago and it is still going strong :) Longevity is very good.. It’s bouncing off my skin very well. Very good projection.. This house is found on Facebook.. I recommended asking for some samples when you buy a bottle so you can try the others of the house.. I think this is all season only if you live in cooler weather.. I live in Ohio so this is a great year around date night scent to me.. I will be buying more from this house.. Check this out!!! Have you ever wondered, what do the men (in impeccable suits) that appear on the covers of business magazines smell like? They smell like this. Narmar is a totally different tobacco fragrance, in its opening notes it has a slightly fougere air (perhaps the combination of bergamot, clary sage and lavender) but modernized and spiced by cardamom, interesting but reminds me of something I've already sniffed (OJ Montabaco?). But the real magic happens in the dry down, about 30 minutes later, when a floral note dominates accompanied by green tea and tobacco leaves, with a subtle background of precious woods, the perfect scent for a man of the world: modest, brilliant, charming, successful, good manners, refined, dressed in Savile Row or Milano. Narmar is a close distance fragrance, not overpowering, what a gentleman of our times must smell like. Chapeau! A pleasant surprise is this Egyptian artisan house, whose fragrances can be purchased through the brand's website and have shipments to almost all countries.

I had not heard of the Nilafar du Nil house until Sebastian Jara started championing it on his youtube channel, and so I chose to sample Narmar as it sounds like their best (or at least most enthused about) men's fragrance. This is very charming: it opens as a big fougére-like burst of lavender, cardamom, and bergamot, but then later acquires a nice accord of green tobacco and leather with a few floral notes that reminds me of Rogue Perfumery's Tabac Vert during the lovely drydown. Very distinguished and smart, and with genuine longevity. This is a terrific fragrance--I hope this house does well!

This is one of the most beautiful fragrances that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I received this in a trade from a friend, and I love it so much. I had never even heard of the brand before, but now I'm hooked! Fantastic scent, super masculine with tea, tobacco, light florals, and oak moss just blended to perfection! This is absolutely perfect and a great break from freshies in the Summer. I am planning on getting a back up as soon as they come back into stock. Absolutely signature scent worthy and a true masterpiece!

Read all the great reviews and I was sold. Blind brought from company it is located in Egypt. No worries shipping was very fast. Ordered on Sunday and received on Thursday. Scent is amazing and does not take a lot of sprays to notice. Sit and projects great on my skin. Even wore to the gym this morning smelled so good I had to do my first review on Fragrantica. In my opinion worth the blind buy. I also ordered Towa smells just as good. 2 for 2 with this company will try more. Thanks for reading.

If anyone has any feedback on the extrait I would like to know about it. Will be updating this review of the EDP with a comparison to montabaco when my sample arrives. Fragrantica please add the extrait! Edit: the extrait is the same as EDP but nuclear, but imo the EDP has more than enough power and the extrait isnt completely necessary. Both I cant tell apart from montabaco, and this is the only clone I have ever bought that has stopped me buying the real thing!

It is very unique in a beautiful way & very addictive. It is mature yet modern. I’ll wear it every time I go to a cigar bar wearing a classic outfit. 9/10 for uniqueness, smell & performance.

Over the years of my use of perfumes, I have noticed that there are fragrances that capture the praise of people and praise them, and they demand their name exactly as a tobbaco vanile or Herod Di Marley. Until the moment of decisiveness came and I tried NARMAR They asked me about it twice one day This is really different and well mixed, although it does have an artificial note, the iso e'super effect is incredible. I think that Mon Tobacco lovers will find NARMAR the best alternative for it and those with cardamom notes. They will like it very much. I think the price is very excellent, but it is cheap compared to what it offers.

Nice scent & quality is above average, however, performance is weak & becomes a skin scent after 2/3 hours. I liked it but I was expecting better performance. Suitable for summer & spring. Scent: 7/10. Quality: 7/10. Performance: 3/10.

وصلني من الدار عطرها الأشهر نارمار Narmar وعددا من العينات لإصداراتهم وستكون البداية مع أشهر عطورهم وأعلاها مبيعا كما ذكر لي صاحب الدار ألا وهو نارمار Narmar للرجال العطر مصنف على أنه أروماتيك فوجير غير أنه يميل نوعا في بدايته للعطور التشيبرية أو "كولونيا الصالونات" أهم ما استوقفني مع بداية التجربة أنه ليس عطر مبتذلا أو رخيص الرائحة مذكور أن المكون الرئيسي في العطر هو الهيل غير أن أنفي غير مقتنع بهذا ولكنه مقتنع بنظرية المؤامرة العطرية بشكل ما فالجلود المستخدمة هنا أظنها من فئة الجلود الوبرية fine suede لكونها تمتاز بوجود رائحة دافئة دخانية مع لمحات أنيمالكية نوعا من وأعتقد أن الجلود قد اتحدت مع الثلاثي "أوراق الشاي الأخضر - السيدار الدخاني - المريمية الجافة وليست الظازجة" هذا الرباعي قد أحدث ارتباكا دعم من الإحساس بوجود مركز لنوت الهيل. ولكن هذا الرباعي قد عمل لصالح الهيل بشكل مباشر حتى أنني أظن أنه لو انسحب هذا الرباعي من العطر، فلربما يفشل الهيل وحده في فرض سيطرته على الظهور. كذا فإنني ألمح مع البدايات رائحة حمضية لاذعة نوعا ما وهي حتما ليست للبرجموت وحده صاحب الأجواء "المنعشة الحلوة" ولكن ربما يكون شيئا يسيرا من رائحة قشر الليمون الصقلي اللاذع وحده. زيت العرعر المستخدم هو أجود مكون لمحته وأعجبني في العطر فهو قد دعم وارتقى بمستوى الجلود والكشمير كما أن التبغ المستخدم هما هو تبغ السجائر وليس توباكو البايب أو السيجار، وهو يشبه بدرجة كبيرة المستخدم في عطر Wild Tobacco Illuminum اللافندر المستخدم ليس فرنسيا طازجا ولكنه جاف دخاني متداخل مع رائحة البنفسج، وقريب الشبه من رائحة الفيتيفير. لو اتيحت لي فرصة إعادة تصنيف العطر فسأجعله "دخاني جلود" Smoky leather بنظرة عامة العطر جميل وفريد ويصلح للاستخدام طوال العام المكونات جيدة لن تشعر معها بأي رائحة صناعية فجة أو رخيصة الثبات والفوحان جيدان للغاية يمكنه أن يصمد على الملابس طوال اليوم مع ملاحظة الآخرين له وهو ما حدث معي بالفعل

Sadly this scent seems to have been discontinued. Not for sale anywhere that I can find. It no longer appears on the Nilafar Du Nil website. They list one called King Narmar, with a totally different profile: fruits & brandy, florals & rum over vanilla & tobacco. Most scents are listed as out of stock - I wonder if the company might be going out of business? That would be unfortunate.

Narmar was a founding king of the ancient Egyptian royal familes, and this frag is a great start up of the newly introduced Egyptian perfume brand, hope you all try it and enjoy it as you enjoy the ancient Egyptian heritage in your museums.

opens green & mossy like Irish spring soap, lavender, mint, grassy, a little peppery, classic fougere bones smells like ADP colonia club or Diptyque eau de minthe

So elegant, reminds me of OJ Montobaco with Bvlgari Tygar opening, all year around fragrance,
