Les Belles de Ricci was my mother discovery in the 90s. I loved that scent, it became my Signature, and my Only day/summer scent for almost 20 years, and I would never have given it up, but, You know... I remember when I first time tried Bella, her opening is identical to that beloved, discontinued fragrance. That’s enough for me to love Bella too. However, in the absence of tomato leaf and fig (I think there was some oakmoss too), this is not that kind sophisticated, mature, unique signature material (for me), But a playful and interesting sweet scent nonetheless! My skin chemistry loves sweet and this one too. The bitterness of the rhubarb is just right for preventing the scent from becoming childish to me. Still a word of warning; on my daughter’s skin this comes, little bit, in a slightly sweat-like tone, so I recommend trying before you buy. I really love this. I love this like the widow love her next husband. You know...

I remember smelling this one and not liking it at first but coming back to it months later I realize what a gem it is. Oddly enough I detect a pear apple note in this but I think it is the rhubarb that makes it that savory like apple note. This is literally a perfect summer scent that you could also wear in spring and autumn when you want to be reminded of fresh summer mornings. It is a bit soapy but in a very subtle tone, and the citrus is nicely blended with floral notes. Green savory (fruity)and citrusy. A must really. 10/10 I love this more than the DKNY Be delicious yet compared to the Hermes E d rhubarb this one lacks just a tad but I have to add that with Nina Ricci the rhubarb comes off a bit too sweet whereas in Hermes one the rhubarb plays a more tart note, nonetheless this one is a great rhubarb fragrance for rhubarb lovers.

Wow-- THIS is how rhubarb should be done. I was nervous because I blind bought this right after I tried NR Ricci Ricci which also has a rhubarb top note. This is nothing like Ricci Ricci, so if you don't like that rhubarb, don't let that scare you off. That one is medicinal and super sharp. Bella is tart and juicy, and the lemony sweetness weaves in and out with the tartness to produce a beautiful and interesting scent. It has sweetness there, but it's not at all a candy perfume. I'd more call it a rhubarb lemonade-- tart, but just enough sweetness to make it super pleasant. It's unique, it's really wonderful to smell, and the bottle is truly GORGEOUS. I'm happy to say the scent matches the bottle because I absolutely love this!! I think this will really shine in summer weather.

I tried it yesterday. I was so stunning by the botlle!!! First spray...green apples, citrus punch, but nothing that I have smell before. Beauty mix, then is a bit cute bitter and intriguing, but oh I want more of it!!! Then after 30 minutes is so classy and simple. I didn’t say it’s sweet, at least is not that overwhelming sweet. It’s a beauty blend. It s my second Ninna perfum. The first was Ricci Ricci wich has the same rhubarb note, and it was so unique and strong that i used only in winter. But Bella is the fresh and classy version of Ricci Ricci. Actually I was wishing to have a perfum with this note. It stay in my skin for 6 hours. It is lovely and i am so identifying with this fragrance, i m just simply and beauty weird as me.

Freesia can be a no-no note for me, but I just HAD to have this cute bottle in my collection. Hopefully the vanilla will make this a freesia YES. UPDATE to come once it lands in Ohio! It's a YES and even better than I hoped for. This is a vanilla with interest. Lots of sour green notes and the freesia + vanilla effect I'm finding out is a LOVE for me. Performance isn't great, plan to re-spray this one. For those looking for a Liberty Fizz replacement--I own both, & this isn't a dupe but it's in the same family. Bella is definitely a sour gal but sweet, too, with all the vanilla (unlike L'Fizz.) LF performed poorly as well, so I feel that for the money, you may be better off with Bella.

When I first tried it at Sephora on a paper strip I was so disappointed. The bottle is so bautiful so I wanted to love the perfume. I was expecting something competeley different, something for a fairy (maybe with a hint of moss?) but I got kicked with strong sour citrus smell. But I saved the paper strip and put it on my work table and as I was smelling it the whole day I fell in love with it...It still was sour but also sweet at the same time. The strong citrus smell softens as it dries, sourness is then represented by rhuharb with sweet vanilla on the background. The sweetnes and vanilla notes are more prominent on my skin than on a paper strip.

Super strong rhubarb opener, a little syrupy with lemon tartness and sweetness. The strong tartness eases as it dries and it settles into a fruity sour sweet - it’s reminiscent of fizzy sour sweets. It lasts all day for me on my clothing and it’s my favourite perfume. I have an issue with Nina Ricci though, previously my favourite perfume was Belles De Ricci which was discontinued and now Bella is discontinued too. It’s such a shame, they were both unique perfumes. Fortunately, for now, there is plenty of Bella for a reasonable price, so I’ve bought several bottles which I hope will last until my next favourite.

At first I didn't think much of it, I just bought it for the nice bottle and because I do like the Nina line. The rhubarb seemed to be too sour, the rose too harsh, the vanilla too sweet. But then I gave it one more chance and it turned out to be a love, it became one of my favorite fragrances. At first is girly fresh, but then it turnes to be a well blended lady-like deliciousness on my skin. It is so yummy and pleasant I just want to sink into this cosy scent, it is like a warm, loving hug frome someone you long to. It is so nice from inside and outside, well done Nina Ricci, I just needed this one.

Smells just like fresh rhubarb spears dipped in sugar; my favorite summer snack as a kid! Like previous reviewers have stated, the composition doesn't really have a grounding element to it, which gives it a kind of whimsical feel. It's perfect for the hottest of summer days when you just want to smell something light and refreshing. A fellow fragrantica user recommended this to me as a substitute for the discontinued Lovely Garden by Oriflame. Although Bella by Nina Ricci is more green and tangy, I definitely see the resemblance! This perfume was a happy addition to my collection :)

Exquisita fragancia! Me encanta, tiene una frescura y acidez que fascina, que se endulza suavemente a los pocos minutos cuando aparecen las flores, lo que hace una combinación perfecta. El frasco es bellísimo y destaco la mariquita en las hojas, único. Me encantaría que durara más en mi piel, dura muy poco tiempo, no llega a las dos horas, su estela tampoco es notable, pero es tan rica que hasta eso le perdono. Me da alegría cada vez que me la aplico!!!

Everything about this little beauty is adorable: the look, the shape, the scent. I've got an 80ml bottle, but it looks so small and cute that I want a backup. I do not know how are the other "apples" from Nina Ricci, but this one is a very enjoyable one. If there was a rhubarb soda somewhere, this is what it would smell like. Juicy tart and sweet, like a mouthful of summer. I'am happy to have it and would definetely repurchase soon enough.

An apple shaped scent without the apple note ? I do get some apple.. rhubarb is crispy and strong. Bella is very fruity in the opening, but the dry down has powdery elements and some sour note. This is a bit like Nina Ricci's version of Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nile, a bit more playful and a lot cheaper. I enjoy the dry down, the opening is very crispy and sort of hits you, but it calms down to the Sur Le Nil-vibe. The bottle is cute.

A sort of generic, well blended mass appeal designer fragrance- but with the rhubarb? Way more special. Will say that it starts strong but fairly quickly becomes a faint skin scent, so you'd need to reapply throughout the day- maybe every 3 and a half hours? But it's an EDT so what can you expect. Like this much more than I should. Sweet, fizzy, fruity, beautiful. I also LOVEE the bottle so I'm definitely getting one.

Have not yet bought, but tested in boots the other day and YES - Its identical to Liberty Fizz from the 90s .... so happy they have 're-released this scent as I missed it so much and there was nothing similar out there (except for an obscure niche scent out of budget). Best release of the year , unique and different to all those samey frags.

This is a very "yummy" scent - I can smell rhubarb, apple and the citrus notes. It's also kind of sweet, although not in a cloying way, but rather in a very refreshing and summer-y one. :) I don't have too much to say about this fragrance... however, all the way, it's very nice. Perfect to wear during hot summer days. So juicy.

Gorgeous rhubarb fragrance - deep, green, slightly dark (like cool shade in the garden), innocent but intriguing and mysterious. And very, veeeery juicy It reminds me a lot of Lovely Garden by Oriflame but it doesn't have the milky note that LG had, which makes it more refreshing. Definitely on my want list from now on!😀

Just here to add to the people asking for a flanker of this with TOMATO LEAF which would make an excellent dupe of Liberty Fizz/Les Belles De Ricci.. Come on Nina Ricci head honchos!! Sort it out !!!! So many of us with money ready and waiting!!!!

This is a compliment getter, you will also get whiffs of grapefruit, perfect for hot weather (smells like candy in super hot weather) in fall you will get it to last a bit longer and more grapefruit vibe , YOU WILL LOVE IT TRY IT

I bought this for my daughter as a gift. She loves it and smells so charming, young and fresh. Also happen to be the most adorable bottle ever. She squealed when she opened it. Perfect scent for a young girl!

So incredibly fresh, a tart zingy freshness and fades into a delicate sweetness that fades into a musky vanilla with the rhubarb note staying throughout. Perfect summer fragrance for hot muggy weather.

It doesn't have a particularly unique scent, but I still like it

I'll be the first to admit that I bought Bella purely because I liked the bottle. It was also very reasonably priced, and since I enjoy a lot of fruity florals, it was a pretty low-risk blind buy. This fragrance smells like a sweet & sour green apple, with a bit of an herbal/earthy twist. I know, I know — there's no apple in the notes. What I'm interpreting as apple is probably what is supposed to be the rhubarb, but since I haven't sniffed a lot of actual rhubarb, I can't tell you if it's an accurate representation. Anyway, the sweet and sour green apple is what I get for the entire wear of this scent; it is a very linear experience. The aspects that change are that the opening has more of that herbal quality, and the notes are more tart. They sweeten up quite a bit the longer I wear Bella, and the musk becomes more present. It's not exactly an airy experience, but it's also not a heavy fragrance. It is pleasant and sweet. At times I think it's too sweet, but the fact that it's not overly strong keep it from being unbearable. The herbal quality makes it unique. But something about it has an inexpensive-celebrity-fragrance vibe. I think it's the combination of the type of musk used and the level of sweetness. These qualities makes Bella seem like it's for a younger crowd, and perhaps it is. Because of this, I'd say this is more of a casual wear choice, not something you'd put on for a special event or an important board meeting. It's not true love, but it's perfectly fine for a sweet, fruity perfume. The bottle is a stunner, if you're into this sort of thing. I'm very into it, but I can also see how someone else might think this bottle is tacky as all heck. I'm not sorry I bought it. Nina Ricci is fun house, and I think there's room in a lot of collections for an affordable fruity fragrance in a cute, kitschy bottle.

I was very curious for Bella, mainly because of the adorable bottle and because I really like rhubarb - in perfumes and in food equally. Unfortunately this perfume is almost impossible to find German stores, so I was happy to see it basically everywhere on my holidays in Spain and try it a few times. Bella smells just like the notes list suggests: Tart, juicy rhubarb supported by a hint of citrus on a sweet vanilla base, nicely blended with fresh roses and musk. I think the rose note is actually quite noticeable, it's jammy but not overly heavy, like a light rose jelly. The vanilla makes the scent gourmandish, but combined with the florals and musk it doesn't go fully foody. Rhubarb was extremely trendy as a note in the last years, and now I have several perfumes with it. Bella is a very pretty scent if you only want one rhubarb perfume, but it doesn't fill a gap in my collection. Compared to other scents with this note, many of which have votes as similar right now, I'd describe Bella like this: Sweeter and warmer than Hermès Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate, but not as custardy as Ferragamo Amo. Not as rosy and refined as Delina. It has no green notes like Oriflame Lovely Garden or Mugler Aura have, and Bella is way less eccentric than the latter. So, it's a very middle-of-the-road rhubarb scent with floral and gourmand accents, easy to like and easy to wear especially in the warmer months. And yes, the bottle really is just as cute in real life.

This is the perfume you buy for the bottle, so let's start there. This bottle just may be the most beautiful in my collection. Exquisitely mastered with a Peridot colored glass orb, slightly rippled on top to mimic an apple. Leaves are set in gold with an indigo shining stopper. Then an emerald and gold, winged beetle atop a leaf. Just beautiful! It sits with its friends on an antique mirror, looking like a prized piece of jewelry. The shape fits comfortably in hand, like it was just plucked and placed for Snow White; irresistible not to hold and adore the finest of its features. So when I first gazed upon it, it could have smelled of anything, I still would have bought it. As it is, the juice inside is a creative play on a tart gourmand scent, with notes of lemon and rhubarb, balanced with sweet citrus and aromatic white florals. The result is absolute refreshment from not only warmer months, but also the hum-drum of mass produced candied fragrances, and cliched caramels. It's not necessarily fizzy carbonation either, as sometimes rhubarb can project. Nonetheless, an argument could be made for it being effervescently optimistic in nature. Bella is 3-diminsional construct, containing both high and low lights. Quirky and asymmetrical almost, but nonetheless noteworthy. I find I must be in a certain mood to reach for its contents, and even when I choose something else, I always have it sitting; luminescent in waiting.

Okay, I'll be honest, I bought this for the bottle and it was a blind buy. But I figured I'd be fine because I like summery citrus scents and the notes looked like they were right up my alley. Anyway, I finally sprayed it this morning and I must say that this perfume is very green -- is that the rhubarb? I haven't smelled it in the perfume before and I must say it's different from my other fruity perfumes, but not in an unpleasant way. It comes off strong, sour and syrupy at the start, very sweet to my nose, but after a while it settles into a nice, unique fruity scent that I haven't really smelled before. There is a creaminess underneath; the sourness is still there but it's not offensive. All in all I like this scent, however I don't love it. I will certainly keep it in my collection because the bottle is really cute. I can't tell how long this will last or how strong it is yet. Will update when I've worn it more.

Juicy 💦 green 🍏 , Lemon 🍋, white florals, and musk in the background. Sweet, sour and fresh! A great spring and summer fragrance! Literally makes your mouth water whilst smelling clean and fresh. Unique, friendly, and inoffensive. At first spray, it does smell a bit synthetic and sour within the first 5-10 seconds, but that quickly goes away as the fragrance begins to dry and sit on the skin. It then unfolds to become this zesty, watery green apple (Rhubarb). I usually despise citrusy, orange peel like fragrances but this is something truly different! I really only do smell the rhubarb and lemon whilst the freesia and vanilla musk sits VERY faintly in the background. I also get the smallest hint of rose but it’s more of a rose-water note. 𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼 A PLACE this perfume reminds me of: A hidden fairy pond in the middle of the rain forest 🪷✨ A nice fragrance to wear everyday. It’s sweet, zesty, and fresh!

I went through 3 bottles of Nina Ricci Les Belles Liberty Fizz alone and it’s sibilings (the blue bottle and yellow bottle) when I was a teenager. Those were my signature scents! Liberty Fizz has a more vegetal, greener, sparklier opening than this one, the rest seems to be the same. I also think the bottle design and packaging of the old Les Belles series were way better than this one. Although the bottle might be cute, it doesn’t have the same luxurious feeling when I held it in my palms, not as well made like it used to be. From the iconic L'Air du Temps bottle to this one, I am sadden to say it’s really going downhill. Just like Guerlain and Dior, and everything else :( I’m going to get a miniature of this.

Smells like rhubarb, citrus, and a bit of apple. The shift is sudden after about 1,5-2 hours, and then it smells like vanilla and a bit of rhubarb. It has a kind of synthetic sweetness to it when applied that I can't point out, maybe something some toys smelled like when I was a child. I would describe it as a sour green smell with a bit of white flower, then mainly vanilla in the dry down. Expected a sweet rhubarb-vanilla scent with a flowery tone and some orange, so I'm kinda disappointed, but I went from disliking it at first to embracing it and it is okay. Does have some uniqueness to it. It smells pleasant when out in the cold!

This is the cutest bottle I've seen in a while... but not only cute; it feels precious and contains one of the loveliest scents I ever tried... It's been a while since I stopped looking for a perfume that is unique, complicated, artistic... I just want something that smells good and fills me with pleasure. Bella by Nina Ricci delivers, it is a fresh,fruity, not too sweet scent full of joy. On my skin it is similar to Hermes Eau De Rhubarbe but better, longer lasting and a bit louder. I tried it again and again and I smiled each time... I am getting a bottle of Bella soon- I actually can't wait!!!

I really like this perfume. It was my first perfume. My mum gifted it to me. I had it for a long time, therefore I have connected it with lots of good memories. Even though it is not the best perfume I have ever tried it is a very nice choice for spring and summer. The reason why I like it is because it reminds me the first time that I met my boyfriend, our first date etc. When he comes to my house, he always takes a sniff from the empty bottle and says that it brings back memories. I'll probably buy it again in the summer. Overall it is a nice perfume.

Very long lasting, so it's good in that regard. However, the synthetic soap quality tends to give my nose a hard time, but I am in love with this perfume's sharp and dry citruses that represent Nina Ricci for me. All in all, I have a love/hate relationship with this one, but I am leaning towards the negative side. I would have called this perfume a Gemini - you will love me and hate me at the same time, but will not be able to stop smelling your wrist trying to figure out whether you love me or not. Oh Nina!

My sister and I spent a day trying to match perfumes in my perfume collection to different fictional characters, and this one was Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables. Especially Megan Follows' portrayal. It's definitely whimsical as another reviewer said. Honest, unassuming, but not quite on same plane as the rest of us. It's just a lovely everyday fragrance that will bring some flights of fancy and silly romantic notions to the table.

A rhubarb dream. The original Nina is too sour for my liking, but Bella is the perfect balance of sweet and sour with a lovely vanilla base that brings harmony to the perfume's composition. I would say that Bella reminds me of Aura the EDT version. But unlike Aura EDT being akin to sexy grass, Bella is a mysterious forest nymph that you can't help but chase after when you catch a whiff of their scent. Bella is green perfection. 💚

Fresh, green, raw, crispy & juicy rhubarb /but without that typical strong, tart accent/ with a pleasant floral & vanilla undertone. It ́s just lightly sweet, utterly versatile fragrance for any occasion. Youthful but elegant. I can ́t find any significant resemblance between Mugler Aura and Bella - it ́s like trying to compare absinth with a herbal lemonade.

This is an interesting scent, as rhubarb scents usually are. Sour and sweet, reminds me of jam or rhubarb cake. It's quite nice, somehow reminds me of Christmas too. Juicy and fruity. I also really like the green version of the bottle. This is much better than the one's with the faces on the bottles.

This is the first time in my sixty-plus years I've REALLY wanted a fragrance before I could find it anywhere for sale. Roses and rhubarb, with a base of vanilla and white musk... and that glorious bottle! Then, to top it off, there's a ladybug on the leaf! I must have this.

This is a very citrus-green fragrance and the sourness hits you instantly. I’m more of a gourmand girl so this is gonna take some getting use to but I am looking forward to wearing it! Thankfully the rose is not prominent at all. And the bottle is so freaking cute!

Please active the voting, it has already been released in Europe, i felt today and it is as very fresh summery fragrance...nothing special but nice, all i could smell was the mix of rhubarb and green mandarine from begin to end and a hint of vanilla.

I'm glad that someone mentioned that this reminds them of the 90s Nina Ricci fragrance in green spiral bottle with pink crown. The initial spritz does bear some resemblance indeed. Less well blended though than Les Belles de Ricci.

It is sour, but in a sweet kind of way. Like summer fruity pie, but with vanilla ice cream on the side. The green colour represents it very well. I like it, it is a happy scent for me, lasts 3hours, I will wear it all year round.

Fruity flora vanilla scent that is very green, sweet, youthful and long-lasting. I imagine a bubbly young lady wearing a glitzy emerald dress with this perfume. The cute bottle is also a good representation of this fragrance.

A sweet rhubarb resting on florals, although I do not perceive the rose. All over the softest, thinnest blanket of musk. My favorite of the Nina apples, and the bottle and juice are every bit as pretty as pictured above.

I’ll agree that Bella is nothing like Aura (I tried them both at the same time). It’s more a sweeter, bolder, juicier cousin of Hermes Rhubarbe Ecarlate.
