L'Air du Paradis

This scent is phenomenal. Unfortunately finding this perfume is like looking for the largest piece of sapphire diamond. Impossible to find! I was lucky enough to get the perfume oil inspired version and let me tell you this female joint blew the skeleton out of my skin. The way that passion fruit and lime is supported by those white florals is just chef's 💋. It feels like you just woke up in the summer morning and strolled around a garden heavy with tropical flowers 🌺 and the 🕊️ birds are chirping high up in the trees. This was a gift for a family loved one and I am so glad to have gotten a taste of this gem. I am not sure about longevity but the sillage; mouthwatering and juicy with that passion and lime, though lime 🍋🟩 seems to be abit stronger. 10/10 for me. This might be the best scent that I have ever smelled esp at the feminine category. Get this stuff if you can!!!🤌🏾

I liked that. It's the kind of tropical scent that stays classy. No fruit syrups, no suntan type notes. If you love the idea of travelling to far away islands of the Pacific ocean like me, this is a whiff of daydreaming. It is not strong though, it takes a couple of sprays to project. I felt the frangipani and the lime mostly. But this is not about notes. It has the right vibe, in a goodlooking bottle, placed in a gorgeous box. It has all it takes to be your summer sunset companion.

Mexican lime! That's the gist of it. I have never been able to smell frangipani in the flesh. I don't know if I smell it here. I get 90% lime and some semi sweet musk. It's virtually universally inoffensive. Lasts much longer than you'd expect a citrus fragrance to last. Very unassuming when first sprayed, Mexican lime with the peel and all. Fresh, a little boring, but then throughout the day with the wind or walking about I get wafts of it from my clothes at random moments and it's so nice! Particularly in summer, clearly. It's a fragrance that you need to wear at a certain time to fully appreciate. I tried it during the winter and it was a big yawn. No resemblance at all to l'air du temps other than the bottle. Which is gorgeous, by the way. Surprised overall. 8/10.

This is a very fresh jasmine and frangipani scent. It is sweet but airy, projection is very good, it feels like a soft cloud moving around you. Casual, effortless, very pretty but nothing new really. Shampoo /spa product smell, clean, fresh, feminine. The bottle is very cute. Overall a good scent but not groundbreaking.

It smells like a tropical floral scent, not a fruity scent. If you are expecting something like Escada does, this is not it. Frangipani makes it tropical, otherwise jasmine is dominant in it. I don't get any passionfruit notes. Nice, but nothing original for my taste.

The notes of this perfume, as well as the reviews, made this my first blind buy. I made the terrible mistake of trying this just as winter resurged, and what seemed to be the first signs of spring disappeared. This is a sharp, tropical beauty, perfect for summertime. Perhaps even on a warm spring day. The floral notes are just how I like them, and the lime gives it a fresh touch without being sour. It smells like a luxurious bath product indeed. Despite it’s gorgeous scent profile, it lacks identity and is just a good, nondescript perfume. Overspraying it could also induce a head ache! I’m not sure if I actually would have bought it if I could have tried it before purchasing, but c’est la vie, I am content with having it as it is beautiful, and looks very good on my shelf.

Unfortunately, mine smells very cheap and boring, like inexpensive bath products. I wasn't expecting something complex and amazing for the price, but I do have other Nina Ricci fragrances that I enjoy. This one is just bad - unless I received a fake? Had no choice but to get it from an online discounter, so who knows. It wasn't cellophane wrapped, but I am not sure all Nina Ricci fragrances are.. The bottle is pretty in the pictures, which is why I decided to purchase the fragrance. I was reading the recent article about L'Air du Ciel, which comes in a bottle with swirly sunset colors and stumbled upon this one, which I found much prettier. I enjoy tropical scents, so I figured I would give it a try. But the actual bottle is pretty cheap looking, and not as pretty as the images suggest. Can't stand the juice, unfortunately.

I can’t decide if I like it or not yet... I sprayed the tester on my hand and it is a bit sweet but the floral notes seem cheap, slightly perfumery. After 2h I washed my hands and I can still smell the fragrance (that’s quite impressive) and now the floral notes are toned down, I kind of like it better... I need to ask for a vial to make up my mind.

I layered Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita and Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Bianca (both from Guerlain) and I got the same scent as Air du Paradis without the « perfumery » side. I’m in love with this combo, couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. Really smells heavenly :)

This fragrance can be bought on board Air France Flights + it is starting to be retailed in France (Nocibe shops have it now)...

Would love to try it, but this brand is lazy when it comes to distripution.

Where Can I Find This? I'd Love To Get This In Time For Spring/Summer.
