Les Gourmandises de Luna

At first spray I thought Les Gourmandises de Luna would be a fresh, slightly sweet scent with citrus, more similar to Nina than to Luna. But soon it developed a sticky caramel note like its big sister, so the similarity became noticeable. I didn't think much about the scent and thought it was just an okay, but uninteresting light version of Luna. Until after a while a lovely scent wafted to my nose and I found out it was Gourmandises de Luna that I sprayed on my arm. The drydown is really unexpectedly beautiful! Sweet, creamy, with a clean and a slightly spicy facet. I notice caramel, milky coconut, a hint of sandalwood and a freshness that could come from the peony and pear. Very soft in feel, but still long lasting on my skin. The bottle is also very cute with the little candy-like pearls on the apple. I almost bought it a few days later, but then I didn't. I was on holidays in Greece and I just had a feeling that it could be possible that the scent developes better in the warmth there than it would in my rainy hometown in Germany. Could be true, could be false. Unfortunately, I have never seen this in any store at home so I don't think I'll find out. My advice: If you have a chance to try Les Gourmandises de Luna, do so and give it some time to develope. It could be a perfect summer gourmand. Addition from April 2019: I couldn't get this out of my mind and ordered a bottle online. Fortunately it works really well in milder weather, too.

Delicious and so interesting one! Caramel and coconut are quite a intensive and sweet, but I found also nice freshness of grapefruit,which brings good balance.Pear and Peony are there too,but I really couldn't find sandalwood. At first hour this is quite strong for me but when it decrease it becomes really nice and soft.Last on skin about eight hours. Maybe not so summery for my opinion,but really good scent from autumn to spring!

Cute bottle, kinda reminds me of something out of a fairy land with lots of candy all around. This scent is nice, it's a foodier take Nina Ricci Luna, it's Luna as if the apple was dipped in coconut, pear and Caramel flavored candy then topped off with sweet sugary sprinkles. This flanker isn't bad, very nice smell that can work in the spring and winter. Would make a great gift for anyone who likes candy gourmand scents

It must be the contrasting flavours of grapefruit and caramel combined that creates this new intriquing scent that hits the spot for me, Kind of like the contrasting scents of liquirice and salty smell in Lolita De Lempicka. Just a quick impression based on first spray at shop I instantly liked it have to explore this smell yet some more. Appreciating the cute design on the bottle as well <3 with springles on top!

Gourmandise Luna is primarily a fun fragrance, optimistic, youthful, representative of the joie de vivre. We are happy just because, no particular reason. It's the opposite of what perfume addicts call "melancholy" fragrance. We need such types of perfumes too, but it seems that on the edible Luna, not much creativity was put. The usual trusty sweet gourmand base recycled in LVEB, Black Opium, Si, Pink Sugar, Poison Girl, Princess; all these gourmand scents that are showcased altogether in girly girl youtube videos. It's familiar, thus, it has good potential to sell well. Lasted five hours close to skin. After that it started fading quickly. The actual scent now: Sugar, sugar, sugar...and a good dose of lemon to cut through the sugar. But then you'll smell like a lemon-pie. A vague mixture of vanilla-praline-tonka. Heaps of pear. I get a roasted vibe, and when drydown hits I swear I smell tonka and licorice. Deep scent. Not cheap, I have to admit that. Bitter notes are totally absent. And that poor floral was in the background, just made an appearance and it was hard for me to detect it. Tries to achieve the oriental vibe. Smells like a freshly baked cookie. If you want to smell like a freshly baked cookie then Gourmandise Luna is for you. Not a bad scent but nothing amazing either. Definitely better than original Luna and with a different character, you wouldn't know it's a Luna flanker if you weren't told. More intense and deeper than the original. Way too calorific for me

blind bought gonna successful - love this. didn't disappoint at all - u get exactly the notes listed and together they are very yummy and sexy and harmonious. it starts like a most delicious juicy sweet bubblegum with pear and grapefruit, soon the exotic coconut and peony take over and after 1-2 hours the soft dry down of caramel/vanilla with sandal wood. too bad the sillage is non existent from the beginning and the longevity is poor. but u can see it as an intimate scent otherwise it could be too loud and obnoxious. this is like a heady alcoholic exotic summer cocktail - something between pina colada, blue Curacao and Sex on the beach. fruity, flowery, coconutty, super sweet drink. cheers! 🍹🌴💙 ps: the bottle is cute and pretty but looks a bit cheap because the leafs are made of plastic sprayed with gold colour and one of them got broken already when it was new in the box- i had to fix it with a glue 😓 still overall my new favourite among of my 700 perfumes in my current collection 😍🦄💟

I am not normally a fan of gourmand perfumes, so I was quite pleasantly surprised at this one. I tend to find gourmand scents generic and sometimes quite sickly. This is different though, at least to my nose. I don't know what it is, but this has a depth to it. At the start I get a blast of grapefruit and caramel, combined with pear and coconut. It could be the peony or sandalwood that prevents it from getting too sickly. It settles down really well to a powdery, sweet woodsy scent. I would recommend this for Autumn/Winter as it has a comforting note to it, which is perfect for the colder months.

Luna has a fresh citrus scent, then turns sweet, somewhat caramelly floral, and finally in the end are fresh flowers. Quite a pleasant scent, but nothing special.

This smells like a sweetened aldehyde, has an "old perfume" smell, like hairspray. A definite no for me.

I don't get the caramel & coconut. It's mostly sweet, citrus, fruity & fresh on me.

Ugh this was such a disappointment. I blind bought it off of the notes alone, I thought it couldn't disappoint. Boy was I wrong. This is nothing but caramel and coconut but not even in a good way, more like a cloying, choking, heavy, headache inducing way. That's it. There's no depth, nothing. Extremely linear. On the plus side... The bottle is really cute.

The opening is a powdery, synthetic, sweet mess. Later on, the sweetness gets deeper and more natural, but you have to be patient. I liked the original Luna way better, this one is not what i would qualify as "gourmand", it is simply a sweet, not very original fragrance. It did not spoke to me, i will pass.

Caramel + fruit + florals covered in chemicals. Smells like D&G The One without the supposed coffee, which I never got anyway, so yeah they're basically the same scent. Beautiful bottle for such a nonondescript fruity sweet mess that doesn't develop or do anything nice.

So very sweet, caramel and pear are the strongest notes in it. The caramel note is usual and seems even a little boring to me, beacause of how common it is. It smells not bad, but a little cheaper than it is. Simply sweet caramel dessert scent. I wouldn't want it.

Reminds me of Britney Spears Fantasy. It might just be body chemistry but all the Nina apple perfumes smell almost identical on me. I wanted to try this so badly, and sadly it's a disappointing perfume, nothing special. Selling my bottle on Mercari.

Okay so I'm just so sad over this blind buy i wanted coconut caramel lactonic gourmand . Nope just cheap grapefruit , that's it . It just smells like grapefruit and not even a yummy grapefruit

The caramel note is the reason I blind bought this, but I'm gonna return it. Smells too light and floral like a diaper wipe. I don't smell sweetness at all. So bummed, I thought I'd love it.

Starts of a creamy peach, sweet and watery but not sharp. The middle is quite generic. A bit synthetic as well. But te bottle is lovely.

BEWARE! Anyone who reviews this and says it’s just like the notes suggest is a fraud. I cannot find one good attribute in this fragrance. It could not smell further from what’s listed above. And I love Nina Ricci perfumes!!!

Forget about the coconut, forget about caramel, this is just an awful grapefruit to my nose. So disappointed :(

Les Gourmandises de Luna came on the market along with its other half – Les Gourmandises de Nina – giving continuity to the story and the concept of the inseparable friends, lived by the models Frida Gustavsson and Jac Jagaciak. The inspiration was the sweetest summer days and the delightful friendship experienced by modern-day heroines. Both fragrances were officially announced in April 2017 and the launching event in Brazil took place in August of that year. The official composition speaks of a fragrance created to sublimate a frozen delicacy, which is able to leave the mouthwatering sensation through a soft caramel. It has notes of pear granita and creamy grapefruit in the head, conferring a more refreshing accord. Then, coconut notes and white peony petals bring a milky body, while notes of sandalwood and caramel result in a dense and sweet base. The idea was to represent a refreshing coulis (French term for syrup or sauce, usually made of fruits and sugar) on top of a gourmand dessert. Les Gourmandises de Luna brought the joint creation of Christophe Raynaud and Marie Salamagne again, repeating the creative process of Luna Eau de Toilette and trying to keep a cohesive signature. In my opinion, you can feel the connection with Luna's DNA, but I think there was no effort in creating something different. Unfortunately, the fragrance reminds me a lot of perfumes such as Black Opium - especially the Eau de Toilette version and its pear and citrus output - and Poison Girl, with its sweet and jovial evolution. It should have brought that incredible facet of the everlasting flower (immortelle) as well as a touch of orange blossom, even if in less amount. Is it a bad fragrance? No way! But it's a 2017 product that repeats the smell of perfumes launched in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Particularly, I understand that it could have been better worked, but ended up being more of the same. Would I buy it? Certainly, if I were a collector of the line or fan of the brand and thought about some factors such as the fact that it is limited edition, has a beautiful bottle (which repeats Luna's design, but has colorful sprinkles), and cost less than the other fragrances cited previously. To finish, it is worth to say that it exudes very well, but does not have long lasting on the skin. On mine, it lasted about six hours (being very generous) and that's poor for a gourmand-style fragrance. Anyways, on women's skin, especially the younger ones (as a target audience), it can last much longer, we never know.

I am really loving this perfume!!! I can't stop sniffing my wrists when I am wearing this...and, I can't think of anything else it really smells like (which I like in a perfume). It is very light, sweet (not sickeningly sweet) and just PRETTY!!! I immediately ordered a full-size bottle, especially since this is a limited edition scent. I ordered about 25 samples from myperfumesamples website, and hands down, this one is THE ONE that stands out far from the rest! I highly recommend this if you want to smell pretty but not like cotton candy :) I am 38 years old and I think this is a very age appropriate perfume! Update: I received my full-size bottle and it is just as pretty as the fragrance smells! What a unique bottle. I love it, I am very happy with this perfume. Highly recommend. * Also, regarding the complaints about this scent being cloying- I could see that happening on this one, but I only spray once, MAYBE TWICE, under clothing and it doesn't give me a headache. Might be worth trying for anyone who feels this one gives a little too much!

Heavy caramel on a ripe pear as the most prominent note , with peony and coconut lingering in the background . There is some kind of sour or peppery note in it as well - i guess it is the lemon - which keeps it fresh instead of suffocating with the heavy and super sweet caramel . Very nice and interesting and feminine fragrance . The bottle is absolutely amazing - the beautiful blue colour, the gold leaf , the cute apple shape and of course the candy sprinkles on top , it is so pretty and cute, and looks fantastic on my dresser :)

I really like this one, especially in comparison to the regular Nina. Bottle is cuter and the fragrance is much more pleasing to the pallet. It has a richness for being so light. The pear and citrus is completely lost on me though. Not very high staying power/longevity. But if you want a summer gourmand type scent that won't choke you in hot weather, then this is one that I would recommend.

Sweeter flanker. There's that pointless extra leather detail stem, and now it's also got hundreds and thousands which make it look cheap. Smells far worse on cardboard test strips than skin but is ok on skin. Personally prefer this to the original but not by much. Both of them irritate me beyond measure, I so want to fix the bottle design and wish the scents were more alluring.

First, the bottle is divine 😍😍😍 the scent is sweet, but not overpowerful sweet like original Luna. I like this better. The coconut blend beutifully, even though i wish the coconut is more heavy.

smell very exotic!! lot of coco :) i want it so much it will be my next perfume i love all the limited edition from nina ricci

Saw it in duty-free in Europe, it was nothing special, not unique in any way.

Has anyone seen this in stores in Canada? (June 2017)
