Luna Blossom

Just got this perfume today, it's my first ever Nina Ricci perfume, and it's a beautiful bottle that matches the beautiful, seductive scent. I like fruity florals but it's so hard to find one that doesn't come across as synthetic and too often sickly sweet. This one is a winner. It's versatile enough that I think it could be worn for all seasons, if you change out your perfumes according to season that is (I don't usually, I do have a few perfumes that I only wear in certain seasons but most of them I wear according to mood.) If I had to choose a specific mood for Luna Blossom (I haven't discovered it yet as I just got it today) I'd say it would be the cuddling up in a sexy (but comfy) outfit on a cool day to listen to the rain (which coincidentally works for fall and spring!) The bergamot, jasmine, and pear are most notable to me and go really well with the cedar and musk which makes for a sweet woody dry down that to me is quite unique from other fruity floral perfumes. The longevity and sillage are both moderate, I'll think that it's run its course only to catch a whiff of that sweet/woody scent hours later so while it does stay close to the skin it's still noticeable hours later. Next I'll be ordering the original Nina Ricci Luna as this has just become one of my top 3 favorite perfumes!

This perfume just smells *good*. From first spray to drydown, this is a pretty linear scent on me. I think what I love about this scent is that its a perfect balance of sweet and fresh florals (probably the pear and bergamot). There is nothing weird or edgy here, nothing experimental, so if you are looking to smell very unique or make a statement or find amusement here, you may be disappointed. If you like to smell good in an effortless, slightly shampooy way, this is a great floral option. It smells natural and there are no weird "chemicaly" notes, just garden fresh florals. This perfume is also inexpensive and a great introduction for those just looking to get into perfumes casually. The bottle is beautiful on my vanity as well. I agree this is a safe blind buy, I definitely bought it blind! I have to say, I love this scent! 7.5/10

I found the 80ml bottle of this for a steal of a deal so I had to buy it, blind buy! I’m so glad I did, it smells absolutely beautiful. Very much like my loves coach poppy flower, moschino fresh pink which of course makes me super happy! If you are into girly pink fresh fragrances this will not disappoint!

Beautiful creamy floral, fresh and not too sweet. I love peony. Reminds me of Noa Fleur. And the bottle, it's a gorgeous mauve jewel.

Just to get the point across on how much I love this, it’s almost exactly a year later and I just repurchased this! It’s so good!

This is perfect for the summer season. I love the smell of pears at first. after that It's like fresh and clean floral shampoo.

I must say I didn’t appreciate it at first. Being a Luna, I expected this one to be sweeter. First couple of times I wore this it was a very elegant, but rather reserved and generic flowery fragrance that didn’t have that special something to make me want wear it again. Yet now when it’s warmer, I feel the fruity side of it more vividly: tropical, slightly sour, and very welcome in higher temperatures. The pear and bergamot open fresh, but then peony adds its sweetness and magnolia gives an exotic spin on things and it smells almost like a bowl of fruits at times. Now I feel the familial resemblance with other Lunas, minus caramel, plus floweriness, but overall, a sweet and gentle companion that fits all occasions. It also reminds me a bit of Zara Orchid (2021) and Amore Mio Forever from Jeanne Arthes. I noticed a pattern with Luna Blossom. I pick it when I am tired of everything else or suffered a massive migraine the day before, so I want to be very careful and I want my fragrance to be perfectly nice and agreeable. Luna Blossom is exactly that – a kind of Goldilocks of scents. Not too loud, not too sweet, not too powdery, not too fresh – just right. Maybe THAT is its “special something”.

Light and casual. The peony is most prominent. Floral with crisp fruits. Not juicy, not too sweet. A touch of citrus peel bitterness. Pretty loud opening but it calms down quickly. The drydown is a close-to-skin woody scent, gentle on my nose. Which is nice because woody usually gives me a headache. Lasts about 5~6 hours on my skin. Overall it's nothing new. I find myself reaching for it often because it's easy to wear. Very casual. The bottle is so adorable. This is definitely going in my coffee table bowl as a mock fruit when I'm done.

This is a pretty scent but it could easily be redundant in your collection if you already have lots of floral fruity scents with pear on top and woody base notes. I'm kind of regretting this blind buy because it smells so very similar to fragrances with this scent profile that I already have and it doesn't seem to offer any unique twist. It's also pretty weak and short-lived. Oh well. I have a small 30 mil which I will probably go through quickly enough, and the bottle is attractive in its own right so there's that too.

on first spray this gave me Eclat dArpege (the peony obv.) and Hugo Woman (the old one). On dry down it was very similar to Modern Princess, I get that apple like fresh note from this even though it is not listed. It is very unobtrusive, a soft fresh girly scent I would have absolutely loved in my teens. As it is I like it very much and I will wear this in spring or summer a lot. The bottle is beautiful but the cap is delicate and I will not just throw this in my bag carelessly as I would many other bottles.

I have had this fragrance for a number of years and just can't fully get into it. I love the initial blasts, so girly and fresh but within an hour it becomes a skin scent and 4 hours after application I just can't detect any fragrance. In all honesty I probably would not purchase again as it just seems very non-descript with no standout features although I agree with many of the commenters, the bottle is beautiful (I will definitely keep it once empty!)

It smells fresh, it smells good. Similar vibe to ''Eclat d'Arpège'',but the opening is a little less poignant. As its cousin's (the Lanvin's perfume), it also doesn't last at all. I'd say 30 minutes on my skin, if I'm being generous. It's unfortunate. The bottle is adorable, of course. I would wear it at the gym as a body mist.

A nice blend of fruity and floral. I get a powdery dry down. Halfway through there is a slighly sour note which I can't make out. It is a light and summery fragrance.

Pretty and vibrant and sparkling. However, disappears without a trace within half hour.

a floral scented shampoo. very synthetic. that's about it, take it or leave it.

I got this in a swap and it is exactly how I imagined it would smell. There is nothing unique or special. It's just your average fruity floral fresh springtime scent. When you first spray it, it's pretty soapy due to the strong florals. However, if you just wait 10 minutes, it gets lighter. I was getting sick of my daisy eau so fresh and feel like this is a good replacement for the meantime. Sillage is really good for me. I haven't worn this long enough to comment about longevity but according to this page, people are giving varied answers so I'm curious to test it out for myself.

This was a blind buy from a couple years ago, and once every couple months, I remember just how much I disliked it. This smelled like the weird watery notes of Daisy by Marc Jacobs. It smelled actually like water. No longevity, after about two or so hours it would smell very faint on my skin, if anything. I don’t like when perfumes smell like water, and unfortunately this was one of them 😞

I wanted to like this because the bottle is just so pretty, but it’s too powder heavy for my liking.

I smelled this perfume at the airport on my way back home from summer holiday. I sprayed my hand and after few minutes it smelled divine to me. So creamy and fresh and floraly. Just gorgeous. I went back to the shop to spray my other arm as well (people must have loved me on the plane). Fast forward to few months later when winter is slowly coming to an end I got myself a bottle and sprayed it right away. But it just isn't the same. Was it my sunkissed and salty skin that made the smell so divine or simply warm weather? Because now I get a pretty meh factor. It doesn't smell bad, it's lovely, but it wasn't a necessary buy. I think jasmine and magnolia are far more prominent than peony, esp. at the drydown.

Fruity, bergamot, floral, musk. Not overly sweet and bergamont gives just little bit bitterness. This is deluted, calmer and less sweet version of Nina Nina Ricci. Also here are more white floral, rather than pink. Similar depth and sugary-water vibe. This seems romantic perfume for night or even everyday if you like "darker" perfumes. I don't associate this with violet, I would actually give this bottle bit more green or pink tones. For young woman or teen.
