Mademoiselle Ricci

I already had Mademoiselle Ricci for a quite long time ago and after I tried sniffing Lancome Idole a while ago, I recognized that the scent is quite similar with this. Actually Mademoiselle Ricci is a Floral Woody Musk and Idole is a Chypre Floral based on Fragrantica, but their opening and dry down are almost similar to each other (at least for me). Both of them have a very strong sweet rose note with a hint of pink pepper, but Mademoiselle Ricci is on a creamier side and Idole is more on fresh side. That actually make sense because Mademoiselle Ricci has raspberry, violet, and amber notes which make it creamier. At the other hand Idole has pear, bergamot, and patchouli notes which make it fresher. Mademoiselle Ricci gives me a softie mature woman vibes, I could feel my mom's hug while wearing it. Idole gives me a workaholic but elegant and feminime woman. So personally I will go with Mademoiselle Ricci rather than Idole because I love a musky and creamy notes more than a fresh citrusy notes. Besides that the longevity is a no for me, not worth with that pricetag. Mademoiselle Ricci is more long lasting with a half price.

I have this perfume for a week and i'm very pleasant about buying this. This is a powdery rose scent and if you love light,powdery,soapy, soft scents you will probably like this one.It is as soft as cream.It's not fresh but you can even use this in summer days because it's not overwhelming. Mademoiselle Ricci is perfect for daily use and its sillage is light but its longevity is medium. If you want something light,unique,elegant,classy and soft i would suggest you this perfume. Also this could be perfect for young girls. And of course i love Nina Ricci because they are not doing tests on animal and also of course they have great perfumes. Also i loved the bottle so much!

It's an aristocratic, noble, expensive powder scent. Subtle, elegant, nothing loudly screaming, but rather sensually whispering. Nothing to do with the Ricci Ricci sourness and juiciness (I was misled by the bottle design and thought the scents were on the same shelf). Sweet, creamy, deliciously modern but with its character (a hint of pink pepper). Quietly seducing, flirting, winking, inviting, but within the limits of politeness with a good taste and sophisticated touch. Lovely!

Oh boy do I love a good musky rose! I haven't tried many Ricci perfumes but this is my favorite so far. This is a jammy rose, but not as jammy as the aggressive rose in Guerlain Idyll Sublime. Also other florals compete in this so that it definitely smells rose-ish, not pure rose. I love the addition of the other notes; I can detect slight pink pepper and sour raspberry. There is also a strong sense of wood here that blends effortlessly with poignant rose. I want a FB now!

I was hesistating to buy Mademoiselle Ricci but when i read review below by Annastasya Issabelle mentioning that it smells like Lancome Idole I bought it quickly coz I have a sample of Idole n Idole Aura and yes it does smell very similar n I love it! It's a beautiful elegant lady smell, I own Ricci Ricci but I l'm liking this more. I'm so happy I have it now! Price n performance of this scent is also awesome.

Ooh la la! Mademoiselle Ricci is lovely and unique! Reminds me of Guerlain's Insolence, but with violet and ROSE!! Long lasting, though not as strong as Insolence. Très feminine, powdery, lipstick, boudoir... So happy to have this beautiful bottle in my collection. Smells expensive, but it was a bargain on Amazon!

Mademoiselle Ricci is very romantic and innocent perfume, musky rose petals with a hint of pink pepper. I have 30ml / 1 FL OZ bottle, I must say that bottle is lovely, but scent is very light for me and it does not last on my skin. Too bad, after 1 hour I can ́t smell anything :-( Oh why?

I agree with other reviews that Mademoiselle Ricci is a replica of Flower by KENZO. However, between the two I would happily pick KENZO since Mademoiselle Ricci lacks the longevity and sillage of Flower. I got this just so I could get a discount for another perfume for my mom.

This perfume smells exactly same how its bottle looks like. Nice and elegant. It is a powdery, creamy and very lovely smell with no sillage no longevity. If it could stay on my skin for only two hours, I would buy it. However there wasn't any trace one hour after I have tried.

It is more powdery than Fragrantica description page gives it credit for! I smell mostly violet, rose, pink pepper and raspberry. Violet is much more noticeable than stated. It doesn't have much in common with original Ricci Ricci. Beautiful fruity sparkling powdery violet.+

The smell is really powdery but not too sweet. This was my very first perfume, I had it since 2013 and kept it until 2023, I only had to change it last year because it was discontinued. I was so sad, because I'm afraid someday I won't be able to smell it ever again.

Aww! How sweet! I'm falling in love with this scent. I agree with the ad campaign, the everlasting love because it's so romantic, sweet, soft, gentle, ladylike. A delicately balanced creaminess and powderiness make this scent beautiful. Mmm.... ♥ so in love ♥

I love this! I had to test this few times and I fall I love with it. it works very well on me. sweet and romantic. the bottle is gorgeous! Try it and give it some time to develop. I had 3 Nina Ricci just never disappoints me.

It's so deliciously powdery, but on my skin it lasts seconds. Really sad. On the day i tried my skin was pretty dry so i think it changed the staying power of the fume. I'll try it again with a great moisturizer before.

Oh, this is wonderful! Great for date night. I’m hit with a lot of powderyness and red florals/berries. Versatile for day or night. Very feminine. Love her, she’s beautiful.

smelled this in the perfume shop today-must say i was very pleasantly surprised.fresh roses.i fell in love.will want a bottle of this for my birthday in october.

Loooooove it ,fresh and clean scent

I bought this because I thought the bottle was cute plus it was inexpensive. I can see the comparisons to Kenzo's Flower, but Flower is much stronger, and I like Flower more because it is a lot stronger. I agree w/ the review below I get rose, pink pepper, violet and raspberry. The raspberry here is tart, not sweet. This is not a sweet perfume, softly powdery, softly spicy, slightly tart w/ a slight herbal quality that reminds me of bay leaf, but it isn't bay leaf, that must be from the laurel. There is a slight masculine quality to this fragrance, and I can see a man enjoying this if he enjoys rose and violet. I would actually enjoy this on a man. So, despite the cute bow and pink color this is quite unisex to my nose but leans feminine. My only complaint is I wish this fragrance was stronger. It would be office friendly for sure. I wouldn't buy this again if it runs out because Kenzo's flower has a similar vibe but is a lot stronger and more feminine, but this is a nice fragrance. Edit: As I keep smelling this perfume it smells like Kenzo's Flower and Estee Lauder's Modern Muse le Rouge had a baby and the baby had a dash of laurels from other relatives. The laurels remind me of a much softer bay leaf. My husband really likes this perfume, but he says he wouldn't wear it, he likes it a lot on me. I am kind of a fan of feminine or unisex fragrances on men and find many male offerings today harsh and obnoxious. During the founding of the USA and through much of 18th and 19th century men often wore florals. I would like to see that habit be born again in the USA and for men in this country to move away from the nasty aquatics I smell out and about all the time.
