Nina Extra Rouge

This fragrance feels like pure joy bottled up — carefree, playful, and effortlessly youthful. Every time I wear Extra Rouge by Nina Ricci, it seems to leave a soft trail of compliments behind me, even my husband can’t get enough of it. This is unapologetically a “girly girl” fragrance; sweet, charming, and full of personality. The performance is impressive: strong projection, noticeable sillage that extends well beyond arm’s length, and a solid 5–6 hours of longevity on my skin. I’m honestly surprised this one isn’t talked about more. I don’t usually gravitate toward fruity-forward scents, but this one completely won me over. It’s vibrant, comforting, and just a little addictive — like a sweet memory you keep wanting to revisit.

I received it as a present and I m so happy I did cause i"ve never been attracted to try any Nina perfumes. This is simply sexy, sweet and a bit sour, very rouge and sexy in sort of girly way. I detect mostly raspberry and praline yet I don t perceive it as a gourmand. I really like and I would also buy it to have it in my collection. I'm so happy with this discovery Update: I'm sad that it doesn t have any depth or maybe i'm used to my stronger, more potent, deeper and more rounded fragrances. I feel like the creator of it stopped in the middle of creating it and released it like it: unfinished. It s very very nice but I prefer stronger perfumes. I feel a faint, timid whiff from time to time when wearing it. I prefered it a bit more expensive but created until the end and "sealed". I don't think i will purchase it after and if I finish it. Such a pity cause that raspbery-praline combo is sooo mega delicious. I don t think i will wear it but i will definitely spray it on my wrist at coffee time to enjoy the first 10-20 min of it's cute deliciousness. Update: i use this to layer to L'interdit rouge and the combo is awsome!!!!!

Forgettable? Maybe..overpriced? Come oon, really??? Plasticky? No f way!!!! I ve tried it now, 1 year after receiving it as the cooler weather returned and I must say i had a nice surprise to see that i still really really like it. Even more than last year when i used a lot but only in combo with L'interdit Rouge. This is actually cute and innofensive, great for everyday use, when you want to smell pretty and delicios and not so sophisticated. I think i will use it by its own this year and i would definitely use it even more if i hadn't had so many damn perfumes i adore that tempt for my attention every morning when i struggle to decide which beauty to wear.

I love the Nina Ricci apple line. I definitely agree that this is worlds different from the original Nina, because this is more sour as opposed to the very apple-y scent of the original. It's sweet, and wears really well on me. Would definitely be using this as soon as the sun starts warming us up!

I actually ordered nina rouge but this is what came 😭 this one is still nice, i was hoping for something more everyday and less heavy, but i ended up enjoying it. it starts out like a quite nice deep floral vanilla mum-ish perfume but ends up quite sweet and lingering, which i like. doesnt last super long though and not THE perfume for me if that makes sense, im still looking <3

Bright, synthetic raspberry with a fun, poppy, smooth base. This smells like something you would wear when you’re 15. Fruity and punchy and enveloping. I lusted after these notes back at the beginning of my fragrance journey, and now that I smell them, I know that the me back then would have loved them. However, now, it is just very immature to me. And I like immature scents! But I don’t want to smell like this all the time.

Nina Extra Rouge by Nina Ricci is a zesty, slightly sweet, musky, berry-like fragrance. The scent is pleasant and enjoyable but I was hoping it would be more apple forward. Unfortunately, it also has poor longevity and projection. Occasionally, I reach for it, hoping time and maceration improve the quality, but I am always disappointed. Due to its performance, this fragrance remains rarely used.

A sample that I found in the bottom of the bathroom drawer. Now I know why I left that there. It is right in tune with what is happening in mainstream perfumery. Sugar, fruit, praline bombing. Be young at all costs. There, the cost is to be incredibly banal. Not necessarily unpleasant, just an optional flanker. It looks a lot like the late Flower Party by Yves Rocher, but stronger, sweeter.

A very bright and slightly cloying scent for my liking, I'm new to perfumery so I cannot compare this to any other Nina Ricci perfumes. The citrus is strong and I prefer a slightly softer and denser/creamy/oud-y gourmand scent, so layering is necessary for my liking. But overal, I enjoy it, it lasts a while and you dont need to apply much, fresh and ok to wear in a hot humid weather.

Very different from the lovely original Nina. Nina Ricci joined the trend of raspberry-lychee perfumes that all smell similar. This smells like YSL Mon Paris, Lolita Lempicka So Sweet and Mugler Angel Nova EDP mixed together with all cheap body sprays from the children's fragrance department. Sour and plasticky sweet, not even in an edible way as it reminds me a bit of some kind of red berry scented air freshener from the supermarket. At least the bottle is pretty, but its content is forgettable and overpriced.

Extra Rouge is very different from the original NR. When the scent is released, you are hit with an overwhelming smell of sweet candy. I'm talking about artificial red fruit-flavoured candy, in fact a combination of sour and sweet red fruit candy. It is definitely too sweet for my taste and this is coming from someone who prefers sweet perfumes. The best thing about this perfume is its longevity; it lasts very long and even survives a trip to the gym.

This fragrance reminds me of sweet candy and feels a bit overwhelming

Smells like a much lighter, much more youthful, less cloying version of Roses Vanilla by Mancera. Soft vanilla, praline touches, mild sweetness and juiciness of berries and rose. This is pretty far away from the original Nina, which is even aquatic in comparison, very juicy and lots of apple. This is denser, opaque and more mature (as much as it can be as it is still a Nina). The original Nina is fairytale, Snow White scent. This brings Nina to the streets, it's more glamorous, posh and princess than fairy-like.

Red berries, cotton candy, praline...done a thousand times...but somehow better. Tea and rose put a little bit of freshness in this candy store. I think it is pretty and super girly. Actually, the drydown is very sensual, in an uplifting way. I like it very much, and the bottle is just amazing!

Very young scent, but it is really comforting. I love the sugary fruits in there. You smell it very shortly on yourself and then it fades, but I can assure you that other people smell it ahah. It's cute, very fond of the vanilla drydown

Hmm. This smells very familiar. It is exacly like Very Good Girl on me. Not bad but I can not tell them apart. I would pick this one over the Herrera one simply because I find CH high heel bottles super tacky looking.

Was so excited to try this one as I've been on a rasberry perfume journey and it turned out to be on me a generic cloying blast of something synthetic. The quest for a raspberry perfume goes on.....

Smells pretty similar to Nina Rouge but lighter. So it ́s sour sweet, gourmand and forgettable. Actually, waste of money unless you ́re teen girl.

To me, the drydown smells like La Vie Est Belle EDP with the iris and patchouli taken out.

This smells like Make-up. It’s pleasant but nothing groundbreaking. A bit too soft.
