Nina Soleil

Uhh, that's a good one. Less sweet and creamy than expected, it starts whith a lot of bergamot and I have the impression to smell a little bit of Neroli as well. Refreshing and little bit bitter. Then it gets sweeter and creamier, but it's still not really sweet, so it's absolutely suitable for hot weather. After a while citrus and sweet notes step back and make room for the cedar wood. Sillage is moderate, on me it lasts about 5h. I can clearly smell similarities to Tom Fords Eau de Soleil Blanc, so if this one is easier for you to find in a shop and test, do it and try to imagine the scent with a tiny little bit more citrus, sweetness and overall more "bang" and you'll get a quite good idea about Nina Soleil.

I love every Nina Ricci perfume I’ve bought and this is no exception! It definitely does remind me of the Tom Ford perfumes mentioned above, very beach summery vibes I love it. Not something I normally would have ever gone towards but the last two years I find my preferences are changing a lot, I was always only I to fresh fragrances but now I’m very much enjoying deeper fragrances which is cool :) I was attracted to this for the yellow and thought it would be bright and fresh smelling but to my surprise it’s so much more than that and I’m glad :) it’s got like a toasted smell to it-if that makes sense to anyone else? Lol

Sweet, creamy, whipped cream and vanilla dream of a scent. Similar to TF Eau de Soleil Blanc indeed but less complex and more creamy and milky. Nothing groundbreaking but really comforting and pleasant. Beautiful, sunny fragrance and the bottle is really pretty IRL. Ready for summer to come to put it to good use.

Good creamy vanilla perfume, its not a pure vanilla but to me it smells like carolina hererra good girl blush, which i love so this is a great dupe for that. So its not a pure vanilla its like a floral cream vanilla sort of (hard to explain this beauty) super affordable compared to other fragrances

Soleil blanc by Tom Ford + Jasmine of Athens by Kalotinis. Projects & lasts better than TF... Creamy & reminds me of yachting and summer vacations. Whipped cream, tiare, gardenia, ylang ylang with bergamot. Blind buy material, especially for the price it's sold. My Youtube channel: @SanneParf

I'm not gonna lie i blind bought Nina soleil because of the bottle is so freaking cute..but the juice isn't bad at all.In fact it's actually good and reminds me of creamier soleil blanc

It's adorable the bottle is very cute and smells just like lemon pie it's creamy slightly citrus and with a delicate touch that makes it very addictive ૮꒰ ˶• ༝ •˶꒱ა ♡

Really nice, but it fades in 2-3 hours max. My nose detect primarily Gardenia, vanilla and a wooden base. It is a true Gourmand perfume 🏵️

I have such a strange relationship with Nina Soleil. I adore the yellow bottle and was a fan already *before* I got to smell this creation. But scent-wise I have to admit I struggle with it. I've kept using it to "train" myself to like it, but every time I put it on there's *something* I don't really like... It's the GARNEDIA. It's the most obvious note on my skin from the beginning to half-way through... Strong gardenia with a touch of bergamot. (No mandarin) The whipped cream they used is "Chantilly cream" which is a sweet vanilla-flavored French whipped cream. It comes out half-way through and becomes more and more obvious towards the end on me. It's light and sweet ~ not fatty like some 'normal' whipped creams are, big difference. That note is LOVELY and I wish it was obvious on me the whole time. It's just the gardenia I struggle with, just not a fan of it when it's this obvious... But, personal tastes aside, I can still smell this could be (and surely is) a lovely perfume for someone else. It's different to anything else I own or have smelled before. It's warm and welcoming without being heavy or cloying. The color yellow, or yellow and white, are the perfect choice for this perfume! Lasts many hours on my skin. By the way ~ Nina Soleil smells nothing like the other Nina apple scents. Could have easily been a scent of its own! Like gardenia? Then go for it! Want the bottle just for the bottle? Then go for it! (It's gorgeous!) Otherwise, not a safe blind-buy...

After a day of wear of this blind buy, here is my review... I find it tart, tropical and creamy but it also smells cool, almost metallic. It reminds me of eating an orange/citrus ice cream on a breezy summer day. You definitely smell gardenia, which goes well with the whipped cream contributing to the sweet creamy feel. I really like it, feels like the younger sister of Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc, which I adore, but I'd say it's more fruity and juicy, less green. After a few hours it smells even more like it. Also, it's similar to Montblanc Signature, if you like that one, you might like this, they are quite similar in a way. Nina Soleil smells younger, more tropical, fresh and a bit like sunscreen, Montblanc is a little softer and more musky - like a thick expensive lotion. My nose doesn't pick out the cedar in Nina Soleil, which is probably only slightly underlying for longevity and adding to the creamy feel. All in all a really pleasant summer scent.

Sunny and summery, like lemon ice cream at a table beneath the parasol of a pavement cafe. And yet Nina Soleil opens sour, more like a lemon ice pop, then melts on the skin into creamy vanilla ice cream. Vanilla ice cream in a lemon glaze. Sweet but not cloying, and not floral at all on me. Unserious, plasticky yellow, and yet so delightful. The bottle suits it perfectly. I only wore Nina Soleil in summer: in cooler weather it became temperamental and turned synthetic on me. Quite in character - ice cream is a summer joy, not something you particularly crave in November

Very much a like for summer! Creamy citrus meringue with soft gardenia, which sometimes gives the feeling of coconut, but there really is no coconut to my nose. Soft projection and short longevity. A strong like! (to note the first sprays smelled a bit musty, reminder for me to give perfumes rest and a second try.) I have since purchased eau de soleil blanc by Tom Ford. They are very very similar in smell, projection and neither long lasting. TF’s leaning more jasmine and Nina’s soft gardenia. No question, I prefer Nina’s.

I recently got hold on a barely used bottle. Its a nice perfume I'm glad to have in my collection. The design is cool and fits the juice. The perfume is pleasant and summerly. I would recommend it. Its sweet, citrussy and a little bit ozonic. Unfortunately it projects little and fades easily. You have to freshen it up often. This one really shines in the heat. I find the citruses last longer than on colder days. On colder days brings out the cream and vanilla part.

To me this fragrance smells fresh, citrusy with a hint of vanilla and whipped cream, but they are quite demure. What sticks out the most and the longest is the bergamot, which I don't generally dislike but find it much too prominent here. There is hardly any sweetness. I would love this to be stronger on the orange and whipped cream before anything else, a little bit sweeter as well. Got a small bottle and find it adorable, but I suspect that I'm noseblind to some of the ingredients, because after a while I get whiffs of synthetic sour components, that are quite unidentifiable to me. I've had this experience with Wish by Chopard as well, although in that case it was even worse. Soleil is still wearable to me, but I certainly won't rebuy.

Sprayed this at the airport and I think its pretty yummy, plain, nothing outstanding but comforting. Smells like the bottle looks. Might by on sale later

I blindly bought a bottle of this because I loved the bottle design and wanted to try a lactonic scent. In terms of the scent, the depth is not there. The citrus notes smell linear and the cream is barely noticeable. Perhaps it is just an association with the sweet artificial citrus scent, but it smells so much like a spray on sunscreen. I must also note the alcohol takes a long time to dry down and is quite pungent. In terms of performance, the longevity is weak and lasts maybe 1 hour close to the skin. If I want a full day or wear, I have to apply it 4-5 times. This fragrance, for me is not bad. It’s just not great. I think you could get a good citrusy scent from the body shop for a quarter of the price.

A fresh citrus scent with a hint of cedar and gardenia. Unfortunately not what I expected as I don’t get really any vanilla or whipped cream so it’s pretty sharp. It almost smells sour as if it has gone bad, though my bottle was brand new. Has moderate sillage and lasts all day. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid: very similar but not as sour ✔️ Mugler Alien Goddess: a bit similar but creamier and has distinct coconut on me ❌ Akro Bake: much sweeter ❌ Chabaud Lait Concentré: a light bready scent ❌ D&G Devotion: sweeter and deeper ❌ Dior Hypnotic Poison: sweeter and not as sharp, no citrus

I was tented by bergamot, mandarin orange and vanilla but I only get gardenia with something metallic. Nothing sweet or creamy.

I blind bought a bottle off of Ebay because I could have sworn I smelled this in Paris summer of ‘22 and loved it. I’m one of the unlucky ones that only get gardenia. To my nose, it smells solar, very similar to Replica’s Beach Walk. The dry down gets a bit creamy, but I was hoping for a more prominent vanilla. I’m wondering if the bottle was exposed to heat damage during storage, or if I let the juice macerate maybe I’ll pick up on the other notes. I’ll keep trying it for a bit, and I’ll try layering it too. For now, it’s just ok; not a favorite unfortunately. Update: this thing is a BEAST. one spray and it is EVERYWHERE. and it doesn't leave. Sticks to the air, clothes, sheets, skin, etc. for sometimes days. can be very headache inducing, and sometimes the white florals can go a bit sour. Moving from OK to DISLIKE.

Ok so when I first tried this fragrance I was getting a clash of notes that didn't make sense to me. But I have learned over the years don't give up on a fragrance just yet. Let it sit for awhile and then come back to it during a different season and see if it changes. So I tried Nina Soliel early spring and would you believe this fragrance is so pretty now. A nice turn around. I like it even more and can enjoy it. Perhaps I needed to keep it strictly for spring summer. And I'm starting to find that some fragrances really do peak at certain seasons. So I'm considering re-evaluating my whole collection as to when is the best time to wear many of them versus just all year around because they all act so different at different seasons for me. I never even considered that maybe some are strictly for a certain season based on how they perform because I love wearing them all year around. So this is a different experience for me. I usually don't limit myself on fragrances and love to be carefree with them. Nina Soliel smells semi-tropical but more sunny like something you would wear on a day at the beach or at the park. It's warm, creamy and sweet because of the gardenia mixed with the whipped cream and citrus. In the beginning, it was more citrus heavy and I felt like it didn't mix with the solar notes, but now it seams to have balanced out where the citrus has calmed and the cream and gardenia are more in the forefront. It's not a heavy gardenia fragrance which I would of preferred, but I can see for that reason it would be easier to wear for most. I was looking for full on citrus cake with massive gardenia kinda like going in the Eau de Shalimar realm but with added strong gardenia just because I love it when I can smell my favorite notes together like that but it comes off strong and inviting and new. I love the lemon cake feel of Eau de Shalimar and since I love gardenia I would of loved it to have bloomed together with those notes and that is what I was envisioning with this one. That is the thing about fragrances and your own interpretations though. It can be very hit and miss based on what we are looking for. So overall, Nina Soliel Is a easy going lighter sunny citrus floral. Actually, this is the perfect season to wear Nina Soliel and if it is compared to Soliel Blanc then it's a very good easy going fragrance for spring summer anyone can wear. I don't see Nina Soliel really being a fragrance that would offend anyone and is a safe blind buy. If your not sure about it at first come back to it later on as with most fragrances. You may find a turn around for them later. A lot of fragrance companies do try to advertise and release their fragrances when they feel the fragrance would work best. I'm learning to pay attention to the fact that some fragrances may just be more appropriate for that season and that's why at times I may not be experiencing them at their fullest potential as they are advertised. I'm ok with that. I don't mind fragrances specific to certain seasons as long as I like them. But in the future I will be paying more attention along with the notes as to whether I need another spring or summer fragrances and which season I prefer best. I think I'm more of a spring winter type of person. But now that I say that I'm going to look at my wardrobe to see if that is even really true based off of what I still own. LOL.

Screeeeeeeechy bergamot with a vanilla and whipped cream base. I do like the vanilla and whipped cream. I do not like the bergamot that will not shut up whatsoever. On the dry down, the bergamot does get quieter but it's still there, and my nose would prefer it if bergamot wasn't a note in Nina Soleil to begin with. If you like bergamot mixed with vanilla and whipped cream, take a gander and a sniff at Nina Soleil. If you do not like bergamot, cast your gaze and nostrils towards Alien Goddess from Mugler. Overall, Nina Soleil was an apt summer perfume release from the Nina Ricci brand. Beach vibes. Refreshing. Pleasant (except if you have a disdain for the smell of bergamot).

This reminds me of an underwhelming celebrity fragrance. I’m surprised people compared it to alien goddess and tf soleil blanc. I don’t get any coconut like I do with the two fragrances mentioned. I get a strong cheap vanilla from this. I feel like without that synthetic whipped cream note it might be better. I wouldn’t even gift this to my niece to be honest, it’s boring. The dry down gets better when the florals come out. It is summery. I think if you’re in the beginning of your fragrance journey you might like this. It’s a summery floral vanilla with with the dna of nicki minaj fragrances.

A tad lactonic and salty creaminess, slightly solar, slightly floral. Not trendy, but definitely not dated - good summer staple. Gardenia is the backbone of Nina Soleil - in the opening with creamy and solar touch complemented with mandarine orange. Then the drydown is slightly sunscreen like and woody, musky with buttery, floral touch of gardenia. Close to skin projection and moderate staying power.

The composition in this looks interesting. I hope that now Nina Ricci criminally discontinued the beauty that is Premier Jour this will smell similar (they seem to share a few notes). Incidentally premier jour also had a flanker that contained the name "soleil". Very intriguing!!

It starts off very citrus, never becomes sweet nor creamy. Absolutely not what I expected based on this page. This is a cedar woody gardenia with a dash of citrus. Not as young as some other Ninas. I will be layering Luna with this to give it some freshness.

This was recommended on TikTok as a dupe of Soleil Blanc, I found zero similarities. It gives vibe of some lemon merengue pie, but not in a luscious way for me.

I smell coconut on this one, but could be the mix of vanilla and cream. A really different Nina btw, not so sweet as usual previous fragrances from this brand.

This is a nice sweet but airy summery scent! Bit like Soleil Blanc. I like this for everyday use and it has beachy vibe, so pleasant and inoffensive!

It’s pleasant but nothing groundbreaking. It’s a soft floral vanilla. It’s sweet and sunny but a bit childish. It smells like pastry.

Smells almost identical to Gucci Gorgeous Orchid. First minute smells like rubbing alcohol, then settles into a floral-banana scent.

Can’t wait to try this one, sounds really uplifting and like a nice perfume for spring and summer!
