Ricci Club

Ricci Club is somehow dry, creamy and tart all at once: a unique convergence of spicy fougere, citrus aromatic, and green floral, it stimulates my palate with its multitudes. The lavender is muddled with peach and what reminds me of Angostura bitters. The green doesn't bite, it nibbles around the edges and adheres to the florals that bloom as the top notes simmer down. An orange-hued powdery amber, tobacco-like tonka and woodiness forms its base. It's the kind of fragrance that would suit a cool, breezy summer night. I find it delicious, but I only own Ricci Club due to finding it for a steal online. Unfortunately, prices for it usually are quite steep for reasons I haven't quite determined, since there are often several concurrently for sale all going for three figure price tags. Be that as it may, it's a delightful wear, not to mention a fantastic conversation piece, as the box and bottle was designed by a favorite artist of mine, Sol Lewitt. If this sounds like it would be a treat and you can happen upon it for under 100 bucks, do pounce on it, but I wouldn't recommend spending anything more than that.

fantastic old-school citrus scent. it is less predictable than it seems to be at first. the opening is wonderful with bergamot and lemon, not heavy or fizzy but very bright. the drydown is very interesting with a great blend of vanilla, cedar and floral notes. it's very gentle, refined yet casual and optimistic. i found this rare gem in a local store for an incredible price, but it's a 50ml splash bottle, and i HATE splash bottles!!! the performance is just good, perfect for spring and summer, for people over 25. who can wear this fragrance? well, someone classy, goodlooking and funny like templeton "faceman" peck from the a-team. not your boring citrus scent, a bit old style but still easy to wear nowadays. un profumo rinvigorente, all'italiana. scent:8,5 logevity:7 sillage:7 versatility:8,5 bottle:6,5 uniqueness: 8,5 compliment factor-7 my vote: 8,5 in one word: brightness

It ́s a small miracle but i ́ve bought this one 2 months ago from a private seller for 41 euro i believe (100 ml) - yeah that was a going back to my younger years all right, but i loved it !! initially I couldn ́t quite remember it, only that i liked it a lot back in the days when I was young and the century was the 20st...the drydown though is where i find the base of armani code is laying..same tonka vibe but whereas nina ricci is more for the warmer weather, i consider code (og) more appropriate for the colder weather... ah club for man by nina ricci i was so glad you crossed my path this year. Best for those first warmer spring days with the combo bergamot, lavender and tonka....love it !!!!If you ever come across a bottle and the price is right...don ́t hesitate...it ́s ok to loose your hairline (i do) but not to let this one slip away !! :0) 8,5/10

I used this as a teenager. Have no idea how I came about it, but strongly suspect that my father bought it for himself and I "confiscated" it the second I smelled it. I went through at least two bottles of this very dry and no-nonsense barbershop scent - which is funny, when you know that I am not only female, but also petite, with miniature hands and feet. Never smelled this again, but I would buy it in a heartbeat. I remember that it was utterly stunning.

Once, my father had to go to Mexico for his job so I asked him to buy me this perfume at the duty free shop. I had a sample of it and I had loved the scent. So on his way back home, at Mexico, my father asked for the perfume and that's when the seller replied "I'm sorry, Sir, but we don't sell the Nina Ricci perfumes for gentlemen!" That's how I knew it was a perfume for men but I bought it all the same and I enjoy wearing it once in a while.

I first came a cross this beautiful scent in the 90s by luck it is one of the best classic long lasting I prefer to use it in the winter nights ,the after shave is also nice but the after shave balm not very good ,few years back I found it on Ebay so I stocked a couple now they worth more than 200$ I even bought the concentrate version a bit heavy but also nice . they dont make it like they use to so sad.

This is a pleasantly sweet fragrance with a fresh and green accord. It smells like a beautiful flower garden with the volume turned up, at first whiff. It dries down, and tones down, to an elegant, somewhat soapy, floral veil of freshness. It’s lovely indeed, but probably not worth the inflated prices I see here for vintage bottles. I have 1/3 of a 100ml bottle left, so I use it sparingly.

Oh how I miss this one. I still remember exactly how it smells and it's been 20+ years. That burst of lemons and sugary peach wrapped around a complex, woodsy dry down that lingers on your clothes for days. The only fragrance I've come across that's even remotely simiar is Dior Homme Sport which is fantastic in its own right, but doesn't even come close.

Lovely bright, bold masculine floral -- loud yet elegant, bodacious yet refined. Beautiful, citrusy opening with rich layers of spicy carnation and warm tonka beneath My second most sprayed fall frag, more often than not -- right after the VERY different, violet-laden/slightly astringent (and almost embarrassingly cheap) Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene.

another one now sadly dissapeared, I was lucky enough of getting a tester bottle not so long ago so now I do have it as a treasure, smell seems not that strong when you put it on your skin, but its growing powerfully,leaving an excellent and charismatic touch, I find that one very smart and ideal for mid aged men like me

Probably one of the best citrusy fragrances. Its top notes are incomparable. All fragrance is balanced, never overpowering. Masculine, fresh and complex at the same time. Extremely refined. It deserves to be more popular, if you get it, try it. A great classic.

I had this fragrance when i was 16/17 years old. I ́m looking for this gem for a long time. Beautiful scent, indeed. Brings me so many good memories...

Alphairone speaks nonsense, it's easily worth 200$ by todays standards, there is no sexier smell.

لابد أن أذواق الناس تتغير عبر الزمن، في السابق كان الغالبية يستعمل عطرا واحدا طوال العام، و هنا أستغرب كيف كانت العطور الرجالية الشعبية في الثمانينات و غالبيتها من الفوجير مثل كورس و أنتايوس و لابيدوس التي تعتبر بمعايير اليوم عطورا شتوية خريفية لا يفكر أحد في استعمالها في الصيف أو حتى الربيع تستعمل طوال العام حيث كانت في وقتها توقيع عطري و لم يتواجد مفهوم العطور الصيفية و الشتوية و الرسمية و الكاجوال كما نعرف اليوم هنا يأتي عطر اليوم: نينا ريشي كلوب، عطر فوجير كلاسيكي بلمسة شيبرة و يصلح للصيف! ككل عطور الفوجير يبدأ العطر باللافندر و الأعشاب العطرية، ثم ينتقل لقلب زهري فاكهي و يختتم بقاعدة خشبية تابلية و لكن الحركة محدودة و العطر بدرجة كبيرة خطي العطر به لمسة شيبرة حمضية، نوعا ما سيذكرك مثلا بأوو سوفاج أو بوشيرون بور أوم، و لكنه ليس كلاسيكي بحت و فيه نوع من اللمسة العصرية أيضا حيث يذكرني من بعيد بعطر روكوبار من هرمس الذي أصدر بعد هذا العطر بحوالي عقد من الزمن العبوة التي عندي بها عيب بالبخاخ حيث يكاد يكون سبلاش أون و لهذا فالعطر محدود فترة الثبات و الفوحان و لكنه قوي في الساعة الأولى التقييم 4.1/5

Smells like a cheap aftershave at a barber shop, very sharp and generic old school.

Ricci Club is a green floral cologne with a lot of upper class $$$$ and sophistication. Ricci club is a very refined and elegant scent for the true gentleman. The scent opens up green and fresh then turns into a very enjoyable floral woodsy aroma. This cologne has been discontinued and is very hard to find these days. I ended up selling my bottle because I did not find many occasions to wear it. As good as it smells, it has that early 90's (late 80's) vibe. This one screams double breast suite 45+ men's club. I rather wear scents more appealing to my age and more "in" these days, women in my age group have a preference for more modern scents and this one doesn't seem to do much to get that young adult crowd female attention IMO. If you get a chance to try this one, give it a chance as is truly a hidden gem and a masterpiece by Ninna Ricci.

One of my top 5 vintages and the scent I always must own in the collection. Real gentleman's scent, mature, green, decent, not agressive, perfectly balanced and rounded. This combination of notes must be perfect, lavander, artemisia, sandalwood and some green notes, all of them are characteristic for that gold era of perfume. Only problem this perfume has is weak performances. It lasts only 3-4h on my skin, and projects well only first two hours. Fortunately, I've find solution, this perfume has Haute Concentration version which is much, much more concentrated and stronger. It's literally 3x stronger. Haute Concentration lasts 9-10h on my skin, and projects 5-6h like a beast. Unfortunately this concentrated versionis even more rare than original, but it's worth searching for it.

After trying it on my skin the top and mid notes transitioned in a hurry and after 10 minuted the drydown has arrived. I mean, really? Already? That soon? Why the rush? So the drydown, initially reminded me of Gucci Envy, the oily amber note, but then the oiliness disappears and you get a green mossy tempered accord. I'm glad i bought the 10ml mini and not a full bottle. Will put this scent to use as soon as possible, since there's no reason for me to keep it in my rotation throughout the year.

I have about 20 niche fragrances (2024) that are expensive, smell amazing, and last 3 to 6 hours. Ricci Club is better than all of them. I currently have 3 x 10mls on the way from Canada, but I'm not holding my breath. Every time I purchase this fragrance from Ebay, Mercari, or elsewhere it's either spoiled, or been topped up with the classic "scammer alcohol" they love to use. I'll keep trying to hunt it down though. It's refreshing to hear people on here that have snagged this gem.

This is the fragrance that pulled me into the game. I had no idea that there was a fragrance community. I had been searching for this fragrance since the 90's. I bought two bottles while stationed in Germany in 1993. If I'd known it was going to be discontinued, I would've bought out the store. I finally found some on line a few months back when I discovered the fragrance community. I've never smelled anything like this. Nina Ricci needs to bring this one back.

No similarity with Laura Biagiotti Roma, yet? I am surprised, because I imediatly associated Nina Club with that fragrance. But the similarity is just mere and only in the first 5 minutes; Club is better than Roma. I like it, all in all. A very good floral men fragrance.

This sweet and sour fragrance is in close harmony with contemporary sensibility. Ricci Club's stimulating top note based grapefruit is quickly replaced by the warm notes of guaiacum wood enhanced by sea-chpre notes. I'm a really Ricci Club's fan!

Beautiful oldschool, specific and different. Green, sharp, mature. It's shame that scents like this one dissapears from market one by one. This is the scent of real man, confident and grave, suit is necessary.

This cologne is everything to me. I adore it. If they still made it, I would never buy another cologne. I have still not figured out why I love it so much, but every note just enlivens me.

Great cologne, sins of classic, pleasant and cozy, for a sport-elegance. It goes for the same vein of YSL POUR HOMME, BOUCHERON POURE HOMME, and ARMANI POUR HOMME.

Can't fathom the reason they discontinued this awesome fragrance. I have a little left and wish there were some way to get more. I never fails to get compliments.
