TL:DR: Best oud-rose imo. All will envy you. Compliment goblin. I don't write many reviews, but this scent was so amazing that I felt compelled to. I blind bought this, as every Nishane blind buy has had a trend for me of never missing, and this lived up to that. (For added context, I've blind bought Hacivat, Ani, Wulong Cha, and Fan Your Flames, and love them all but this is just on a completely different planet) This is probably my favorite fragrance out of my 45 (?) bottle collection and even in this gnarly Texas heat I've been dealing with this summer, I can't help myself but to wear it. It's one of those perfumes that just makes you smile. The olfactory equivalent of staring at a beautiful painting. Favonius is masterfully blended. The oud is very gentle in this; it doesn't scream at you. It makes its presence known but it isn't overbearing. The litchi and rose dance together with the oud for the first couple of hours, and then as the scent matures (at least for me) the rose, oud, and woods continue the tango. I'm not the greatest at describing the evolution over time, but it smells like different scents throughout its evolution. I find myself going towards complex scents like that, as I love randomly checking and seeing where the evolution is at throughout the day. It lasts a LONG time. I can spray it at 7AM when I go into the office, and still smell it on myself at 9PM. It will even persist as a skin scent into the next day. From my experiences, it isn't obnoxiously loud, but it makes itself known. Your presence won't be revealed to the building, but those nearby you will know you're nearby. Out of the oud-rose fragrances I've gotten my nose on, this has been my favorite iteration of that combination. It will be hard to get me to NOT wear this for the upcoming autumn and winter seasons. It has been a compliment magnet for me. I feel like the man when I wear this.

It's July in Texas, so there's a bit of grumpiness in the air when I'm getting dressed for work. I grabbed my new decant of Favonious, and not hating my initial sniff, sprayed it twice. Hours later, I'm still getting some nice projection. It's mostly, as others have noted, fruity rose with background atmosphere of incense, woodiness and patchouli. I like this for work because it's a strong, assertive presence, but still a touch feminine. And look, I don't normally reach for incense notes when the Texas thermometer is reaching 100 and the mosquitos are so thick in the air you can suck one down if you aren't careful, but I don't mind this one in the heat. It doesn't feel cloying or oppressive, and I think the general woodiness saves this (I don't get oud per se, mostly patch and some of the dryer herbal/floral notes). It's incredibly well blended, and probably the first scent from NIshane that may earn a permanent spot in my collection. It's in line with my love for Diptique's eau Rose, but ramped up a notch so I can put out those boss vibes.

(Offtopic: no idea what guy below me smokes but holy shit, I hope I will never find out.) As for the fragrance, this is the best rose/oud combo I ever smelled. I also own the extremely glazed LV Ombre Nomade and in my opinion Favonius is just better and easier to wear. Favonius is rose forward, but it's not the granny perfume type of rose, it's kind of fruity and juicy kind of rose, maybe thanks to the lychee note. I find it easily wearable even as a guy. It does not evolve much unfortunately, becomes a bit more woody as it dries down. Performance on my skin is beast mode, projects like crazy and lasts all day. It's obviously best for colder seasons but I think it could also work in the summer with 1 or 2 sprays just on the wrists. Unfortunately picked up the Harrods exclusive Oudous Lux Solis instead of Favonius on my trip to London as the wife likes that one better but Favonius definitely is on top of my shopping list this fall and winter.

This is a higher quality version of Nouveau Monde which comes up cheap and synthetic like most LV fragrances. If you want a better rendition of LV Nouveau Monde get this one. It is pricier than Nouveau Monde, which expected, but the quality is ten times better. This is a clean non-candied rose fragrance, it has Taif (Saudi) type of rose, with a light incense and a lovely creamy sandalwood. The pachouli gives it this wonderful cooling effect, and grounds the entire composition. It leans masculine but a confident lady can easily pull it off. Very concentrated and long lasting with moderate projection (the best combination for a classy scent). There are no grandma vibes (although I loved the perfumes my grandma used back in the day) but it certainly is a dressy style of fragrance, no hoodies here, unless they're weaved from the best high-end cashmere. One note to the person who commented before I did, there is no oud here faux or otherwise.

I'd say the younger brother or sister of nishane Shem. Starts very delicious fruity, almost a ladies shampoo. Warm sweet and very strong berry candies. Immediately the oud is clear but doesn't last long, nor gets in the front. It's just there to hold things together. Mid is interesting... It becomes jammy rosy like extremely jammy yummy. The candy transformed in to a sweet rose flower... Drydown. Exactly like shem, woody base with the rose lingering like a dream .. super airy. It's definitely unisex but mostly a luxurious delicious perfume with a good lasting power. Projects crazy as soon as body heats up, as you'd expect from a extrait. Stick on clothes for ever so be aware. 9/10 for me. Shem is a better option if you like more complexity or more masculine version of this. But this is easier and much more addictive and appreciated by many.

I had tried this fragrance several times before finally deciding to purchase it, and I’m glad I did. This is an absolute compliment magnet. In just a few days of wearing it, I received more compliments than with almost any other fragrance in my collection. Performance is another strong point. The projection is excellent and the longevity is seriously impressive. It lasts for days on clothes, and even on skin it stays for hours. I actually had to shower just to fully remove it before switching fragrances. This might be one of the most underrated fragrances from Nishane. If you appreciate rose-centered scents, this is definitely worth trying. It feels elegant, bold, and dark, while the lychee adds a subtle sweetness that keeps it smooth and addictive.

This is an earthy oud fragrance that is filled with a delicate but uplifting rose, smelling realistic, natural and exotic. The almost chocolatey oud is not harsh in this, neither is the rose, it's very well balanced. This sort of reminds me of Delina in the way that is a slightly tart rose perfume, but the earthy touches make it so much more alluring and complex, but it doesn't drag this down to something that is super dark and moody, it's still bright and airy. Overall, I do wish this had a BIT more of the incense in it, but it is nice, and in my opinion would compliment yet contrast something like a rainy day very well. Favonius gets a 9/10 for me.

Blind bought this and it’s on the way. I’m hyped!! It’s here and I really like it. Gorgeous chocolatey oud, sweet jammy rose, very well balanced and high quality. I got a sample of Frederic Malle’s the moon yesterday, and I enjoy this a lot more. The moon is a bit too dense and the notes seem a tad unbalanced. Don’t get me wrong, I love the moon, but Favonius is very balanced. Everything works in a perfect harmony. This is my favorite nishane already even though I just got it in. I have ani, afrika olifant, and wulong cha, which I love all of them, But favonius is king

Leans a bit to the feminine side rather than being Unisex, however, this is a really smooth rose scent. Also, I don't think this one is a Harrods exclusive anymore like the below comment says since I have come across this in an airport. Scent-wise it's really uplifting and pleasant though its profile is not really that unique. Nevertheless, this is the best Rose scent I have ever smelled. The mix between Oud and Rose is heavenly. Performance could be better as a skin scent. Solid 8/10 for me.

This fragrance is paradise in a bottle. Reminiscent of verdant pastures and spring or summer afternoons after the rains. The citrus notes introduced by bergamot give it a crisp, fresh scent. Great on men and would also work very well on women, the product is long lasting and projects well. It’s quite strong, so a little goes a very long way. In the same league as Hacivat and Wulong Chà, Nishane nailed it yet again with this fragrance. Well done! Rating: 10/10

OMG! I was a little worried when I blind bought it and then looked at the notes. The notes are not in my usual realm, but damn, this scent is amazing. The opening is a little messy and chaotic, but it settles down quickly. It’s one of the smoothest rose/ouds I have ever smelled. The incense is definitely there. The sandalwood helps to provide just the right amount of a creamy touch. Love it. 9/10.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one getting the jelly bean accord happening with this one! So high five to @sonertan below! The roses of this one kinda reminds me of ones used in Rose Prick by Tom Ford. I'm not necessarily a big fan of ouds nor the rose-oud combo. I like them but I can do without them. However, this perfume reminded me how beautiful rose oud combos can be.

✨ One of the most luxurious scent I have ever smelled. Incense oudy rosy scent . The rose here is not prominent harsh or annoying way . I can't stop smelling it , it takes my soul away . About the price , I find it a bit overpriced. Performance and sillage are beast. 💥 It could be suitable for unisex , but in my opinion it is more masculine than feminine.

Easy-to-wear rose oud combo... No surprises as it is spot on to the notes. Deliciously sweet too. I would say this is more akin to Delina Exclusif's darker, unisex, moody cousin. If you're a guy that's a little too shy to wear scents like Oud Satin Mood or Delina, this would be perfect for you.

Quick update: I have noticed that the litchi in here feels almost overripe and has that “funky” fruity quality of rotting fruit. However, because of the Oud and rose, it actually becomes quite addictive rather than repulsive. I may sell it and replace it with a proper Oud and rose.

If you want a bright Delina-like lychee-rosey combo with a sandal-woody oud, and peppery touchs playing here and there on the top, which is suitable for winter, spring, autumn and summer nights, then the geneous Favonius is there. It's beautiful for breezy weather.

Bought for my dog, she loves it, she struts around making people pick up her shit. She does a poo, waves her tale and it doesnt smell like it anymore. i buy cologne for all my animals, i have mice, a monkey, and fish. I even spray the fish , they get so mad

I like it alot, bright and jammy litchi and rose with a nice amount of sweetness and you get a nice amount of incense, earthiness and some oud in the drydown. The rose is def the most prominent here tho, the oud and cypriol are more in the background

I’m rarely impressed by a perfume, but this one is an exception. Honestly, it’s made to leave your mark like no other. Think dark suit, confidence, and actions that speak louder than words. This is the scent of a successful businessman.

Boy oh boy this is good great woody scent pick up that rose and pink pepper and a nice hit of incense. One more to add to my growing collection of Nishane this is my favorite houses at the moment. Great blind buy like the rest of them.

Favonius from Turkey's Nishane Haute Luxury Niche Perfumery House is an Extrait De Parfum Eastern Chipre 'Oud Rose Woody Spicy Aromatic Amber Unisex. It was launched in 2021 originally exclusively for the luxury store Harrods. The nose behind this fragrance is Julia Rodriguez Pastor. Favonius combines precious woods and exotic spices with the luminous essence of a fleshy rose, adorned with verdant foliage. I had a first and only contact with the fragrance there at the time of the launch in 2021 and it didn't excite me much. Favonius combines exquisite ingredients that make the fragrance powerful and sophisticated without a doubt. Bergamot and pepper provide a fresh, sparkling and spicy opening. Which is already right at the exit surrounded by a rich clean greenish incense that will permeate the fragrance for all time. A perfume that creates a perfect balance between freshness and warmth. That spicy aromatic start gradually fades into floral tones of a turkish rose that reminded me of something like berries [sometimes I get that fruity feeling with roses], and of a green geranium blended with sage with its herbal profile. This junction brings a photorealistic interpretation of a whole rose with its fruity stem, leaves and petals. The base is anchored in an eccentric woody and chocolatey patchouli, complemented by the earthy resinous woody cipriol that enhances a striking smoky hot 'oud, intertwined with the noble woods of cedar and sandalwood to create a luxurious and deep base with a deeply sophisticated musky woody background. In my new contact with the fragrance I liked it much more than back in 2021, a delicious perfume, but far from being an unmissable 'oud & rose for me.

I think Nishane Favonius might become my favorite from the brand after Hacivat. I’ve had the chance to test it on my wrist twice, and both times it impressed me — this is a truly high-quality fragrance. It’s not something extraordinarily unique, but it feels like the softest, most wearable, and most refined version of those classic oud–rose–leather combinations. In the first half hour, I picked up an animalic vibe — I think that’s why people compare it to Promise. But afterward, it evolves, softens, and completely moves away from that impression. Occasionally I get a slightly sour nuance, though I can’t quite pinpoint it. I’ll definitely get a decant soon and test it more thoroughly, and I’m quite sure it will end up in my collection. It definitely appeals to a certain age, level of maturity, and a more luxurious setting. It also reminds me of Halfeti in terms of family. While Halfeti feels more spicy, rich, and woody, Favonius comes across as a much smoother and softer interpretation of those elements.

It opens sweet, bright, vibrant ~almost tart~ with a burst of red fruits; I was surprised not to see any fruit listed on the official site, because that’s exactly what it feels like! Soon after, the familiar rose-oud-patchouli trio appears. That trio is everywhere, yet here it’s handled a bit more elegantly. I also pick up herbal notes; especially clary sage and nagamortha which set this fragrance apart from its many look-alikes. Still, I think I’ve had my fill of this vibe; it no longer captivates me. Longevity is outstanding, and the sillage is huge; it fills a room with ease. If you’re after this style but want something that smells more refined, it’s an excellent choice. The drydown is quite calm and smooth, and the composition overall feels richly detailed. Lovely but unexceptional woody aromatic chypre showcasing a nice Turkish rose. The perfume opens briefly with bergamot, pink pepper and incense before almost immediately heading to the floral aromatic heart showcasing the rose with geranium, cypriol, lavender and artemisia. The perfume settles on a powdery woody bed of sandalwood, patchouli, cedar and slight Hindi oud. Overall a very pleasant uplifting vibe and quite addictive but nothing that has not been done before. The unisex scent has moderate to strong sillage and very good longevity. Enjoy!

Reviewing a 1ml sample from lucky scent. At first this scent was very appealing to me, as I was looking for a higher quality/longer lasting version of Jo Malone's Velvet Rose and Oud. Unfortunately, and this may just be the sample I have, but I have noticed no improvement in longevity. Only a few hours before sillage is reduced by 50%. On a more personal note, it is just too fruity for me. I hate that I read a review comparing it to a jelly bean, because that is now all I smell. Great scent, just not what I'm looking for.

smells like tom ford fragrances not a great blind-buy at all, this is a real "unisex" fragrance. must be great for winter, the heat doesn't helps this fragrance at all smell it before you buy it trust me, you might enjoy it or not. the scent if very good after 20 minutes when it opens up !

This reminded me of Sådanne, except not as fizzy and mouthwatering. Still very nice.

This is a sort fruity (lychee) floral rose, no Oud. There’s near ZERO resemblance to Noveau Monde, mind boggling comparison. NM is dense a leather chocolate Oud, Favonius is airy light and fruity. The comparisons to Delina however are there, by no means the same, but same vibe as they share similar note profile. Doesn’t really move me in any way, much better options for this scent profile.

Candied ass. Smells like a bushman used cypriol soap. Almost balanced but there's just too much going on. Surprised it's as tight as it is. Fruity musk and diluted florals meet jungle b/o. Willy Wonka would wear this crap. Favonius is the thing that should not be. Never shopping at Harrod's again.

I really wanted to like this, the notes looked very interesting and right up my alley. Unfortunately, Favonious was a disappointment for me. I was excepting a lot more. The listed notes aren’t accurate to my nose, smelling sour, overly green, and poorly blended IMO. It just smelled strange. I really hope I smelled a bad bottle or something, but it was at a licensed store...

That all too redundant faux “oud” / fake amber smell permeates the whole fragrance. I’m so tired of these synthetics overpowering the fragrances. This could have been a great citrus floral with frankincense and basalmic as or authentic woods but nope. Sighh

Hey, listen up! I'm absolutely in love with the scent of Lovely Turkish Rose. As a huge rose enthusiast, I find it to be an incredibly pleasant and invigorating fragrance suitable for any occasion or weather, except for funerals, obviously. This scent has me hooked, and it's versatile for both men and women. The fact that it lasts all day on clothes is quite impressive, especially considering its rose-centric nature. However, as a lover of Oud, I do wish it had a stronger Oud presence. Nonetheless, I see it as a very stylish fragrance, perfect for those under 40. Cheers!

Opens up with an intriguing and pleasing incense rose, then gradually dries down into a gorgeous pink pepper sweetened rose all on a subtle smooth oud base. This is expertly blended to be very smooth, possibly the least offensive incense-rose, the utilization of sweet oud for depth as opposed to primarily relying on patchouli also helps in its mass-appeal. You mostly get rose and oud but the litchi makes it so interesting. One of the best rose-oud scents, I ́ve tried so far. Not sure if I would buy this though, because there is also a sort of sultry green-ness going on in the background. All in all, a really heavy scent, made for a cold winter night. Edit: It lasts all day, literally all day. I put on 2-3 sprays on my neck at 7AM and could smell it at 10PM

Got it today, and what a wonderful scent Opens a little oudy and green, but the late dry down is just about sweet jammy rose Its very elegant and not at all challenging. A really good everyday scent imo Super longevity and it really sticks to fabrics (my pillow reeked after a nap) 8/10

There is a very beautiful use of roses and oud used very softly... :) not like other oud rose perfumes. It also has a delicious side. There is a very nice earthy air coming from patchouli. Sometimes it smells like a delicious jellybean to me :)

I found this at the Gate Mall in Doha Qatar at a Nishane counter in February 2025. There is no reference to Harrods on the bottle. The salesperson said it is their newest fragrance so maybe it has a wider release now?

Smelled exactly like clear gummy worms to me. Out of the line of perfumes I was sampling, though, this one my boyfriend and I liked the most. Candy masculine.

i won't say that it smells of "Nouveau Monde" by Louis Vuitton, but "Favonius" certainly reminds me of a poor-man's rendition of that fragrance.

It feels like a mixture of Byredo's Rouge Chaotique and Reine de Nuit. It has a sweet berry scent and a metallic, sharp, and cool oud scent.

Its not harrods exclusive anymore.. i think its part of the regular releases..i bought it recently for the same price of havicat/ani
