Florane

Super powdery (but not "violet-scented"), and very lily-of-the-valley forward. Quite citric, from the grapefruit and the hinoki. I don't detect vanilla or cassis in this. It definitely doesn't project like the other Nishane's I have tried, but it still lasts 7+ hours. A nice "mild" scent, almost "elegant", which would be suitable for most occasions. I would say it's a fragrance that every person could feel completely comfortable wearing. It doesn't remind me of any of the scents listed above, but if you took the MFK one and smothered it with (makeup) powder, that would be closer.

I am very disappointed in this fragrance or house called Nishane. I purchased a sample from Luckyscent and I was overly obsessed with it then. I hurried up to by a full bottle. When I spritzed one or two sprays of it I was somehow doubting where is the strength that I found in the sample I purchased. Two weeks later I am regretting my investment of this as it dissipates once you hit outdoors. A bottle of Glade air freshener is what I can describe then it's gone. I will keep true to others that worked out for me in the past instead of trying new niches like Nishane😞

Lemony gasoline at first spray, and this lasts about 30 minutes. It then evolves into a very light lemony air freshener, and finally into an almost undetectable floral scented wood oil with a tinge of lemon. I’m baffled by this. I don't see any of the notes listed that typically would cause anosmia in me so I’m assuming this is how it’s meant to smell. It’s not long lasting and it’s fairly weak and does not project much.

Disappointed in this one from Nishane, or at least it's not for me. Too light and skin scent early on, unlike many others from this house. Yes, a safe scent but not worthy of paying for a full bottle.

On paper, notes are up my alley. Great, easy to wear citrus / violet / cassis opening. Then poof, it’s gone. Another Nishane disappointment.

I don't understand the negative reviews here. This perfume is a MASTERPIECE. I am having a hard time describing the scent. It's what I've been looking for for years. I originally smelled it at Twisted Lily in NYC just before COVID-19 hit. The salesperson showed it to my boyfriend and he didn't care for it. I had already decided on purchasing 3 perfumes so I didn't purchase it myself at the time. However, I was so infatuated that I wrote it down and noted that I must smell it again and obtain a sample. I now purchased it this week at a local store in Montreal called Etiket - I am wearing the perfume as I'm writing this review. What a lovely, elegant, sexy, evolving perfume. I smell cassis, but I swear I feel like I smell raspberry as well. I don't smell white flowers whatsoever but I do detect another type of flower. The perfume is so well blended that it's hard to identify what type of flower. Also, I do not smell grapefruit but I am a huge fan of the grapefruit note so it makes total sense to me that this perfume was an instant infatuation; my subconscious must smell it. The perfume opens as a juicy, elegant, musky, almost metallic, heavenly smell. Those notes fade over time (I would say after around 3 hours) and it turns into a scent that hugs you and when you get a whiff, you wonder what it is that smells so wonderful... until you realize it's yourself. My only negative critic would be the bottle: I really dislike it. I find it unnecessarily bulky and it gives the impression that the perfume is a dark, woody, oud scent. It's actually quite the opposite.

This is a really good scent. It smells clean and floral but also a bit sour from blackcurrant I guess. Kinda reminds of MFK aqua celestia forte, that sort of fragrance. It's leaning more on feminine side but I'd wear it anytime without a doubt.

Florane is a straightforward citrus, muguet, amber musk fragrance with good performance in top & heart, but base is totally flaccid. I don't really understand why this perfume exists, to be honest.

Candied lemon peels, citrus cleaning spray, pink rose, airy jasmine and white musk. I don't understand what space this is supposed to fill.

very disappointed with this. had to give it away. 2/10
