Hacivat Oud

While this perfume certainly builds on the existing DNA of Hacivat, I truly believe that it must be viewed as a stand-alone release in order for it to be objectively assessed. I’ll start off by saying that this is 100% an acquired taste; you’ll most probably either love it or hate it, and understandably so. What Nishane and Ropion did here was take one of the most successful releases by the brand (and arguably its most liked), and attempt to transform it into an incredibly niche concoction. Was it the right choice? It’s hard to say “no”, because that’s what niche typically entails; challenging the status quo and removing any constraints on creativity to produce something different.. whether it’ll be universally liked is besides the point, to a certain extent. Now, about the scent profile. In a nutshell, this is Hacivat with what seems to be Indian Oud. Frankincense, Olibanum and Vetiver are added to create a smokey accord in place of the oak moss, and Vanilla is added to the base to balance out the pungency of the Oud. What you’re left with is an amalgamation of Hacivat and a notable “barnyardy” Oud. In the dry down, the Hacivat scent persists, the Oud becomes more tame, and the sweetness of the vanilla shines through more notably. Could you “DIY” this scent by layering Hacivat with Indian Oud? Somewhat possibly, but maybe if it’s layered with Hacivat X instead of the OG. To sum this review up, is this a mass appealing scent? Certainly not. Do I like it? Yes, I love it! There is something so conflicting in these notes that keeps me wanting to sniff my wrists every time I spray it. In my mind, these notes should NOT work together, but my god do they work. Again, I do not expect this to be widely adored - it is definitely not for everyone, and I can’t say that it would really garner many compliments either, but I love it, and I completely respect the opinions of those that may differ. Do not think of blind buying this (like I did, lol). Sample it, test it, experience it.. and make your decision accordingly.

Why o why Nishane.. such a big marketing name you’ve created with hacivat and now you destroy it by the shitty X and oud flankers. What where you thinking by making this? Let’s add some oud in the opening and let it sit for an hour and give them some Synthetic hacivat after that with some blue cheese touches.. I really can’t understand the vision of Nishane.. the collection was already fresh with Nefs and mana.. although mana is a more copy, but this shouldn’t be here or at least should have been more then this. This just starts with that bright amazing pineapple kind of thing (bergamot) then turns to sour tart citrusses with some peppers.. the oud is there from the beginning (poopy oud).. and the more it develops the more the vanilla, frankincense and patchouli comes alive. After an hour or 2 the oud is almost non detectable, which is a pretty shame since there is real oud there but not blended well or maybe on purpose since it still has to resemblence hacivat..? Anyways, its just hacivat, with some oud blast in the opening and mid a little bit, and from there hacivat with incense and patchouli base.. in the air tough, you can smell something sweet fresh spicey kind of vibe.. i like it more in thr air then on my skin from up close. But again after 1 hour its just hacivat.. it feels like they made a stronger hacivat and drupped one drup of oud oil and made it hacivat oud.. its obvious tough i mean what do you expect else... well longer lasting oud! haha 1/10 for me. As for the price you get ripped off. Buy 10ML oud oil and hacivat you’ll pay less and get impressive performance and true hacivat oud. Its not bad, but the price shouldnt be there.. for me something is missing, like more oud in the base, leathery touches perhaps.. in the air like i said its great and i would give it a 7/10, but from close and for the price its just nothing to write home about.

The words “fresh” & “oud” don’t usually vibe. But that’s exactly what Hacivat Oud is. It’s a fresh take on Oud that is in my opinion, a masterpiece 👌🏼 with the most intoxicating sillage! (I honestly don’t get the hate on here!) Hacivat Oud is the second flanker this year (2023) to the iconic Hacivat, which rivals that sexy sharp and cooling Chypre scent profile of Aventus with its juicy pineapple/grapefruit and sparkling woodsy oakmoss construction. This is for the well-groomed gentleman. Or the bold confident woman. This announces your presence in a room and has a very loud and wide sillage! The opening has pineapple and citruses enlivened with an overdose of black & pink pepper; it’s very aromatic and spicy! At this point the Oud comes through for me but it’s not animalic, it’s deeply rich, resinous and woody and smells very natural. The Oud remains present throughout, supporting its woody undertone. The opening is loud and can be challenging, but just wait... In the heart, you get resinous incense notes alongside jasmine, which adds a sweetness as it dries down. It’s now in the stage of development that you will experience that OG Hacivat DNA veiled in Oud and spices. In the base you get a grassy, almost inky, vetiver alongside green patchouli, vanilla and Oud oil. These notes replace the heavy sparkling green oakmoss and woody base notes of the original. In comparison, Hacivat Oud retains the original DNA yet is profoundly richer, more sophisticated, and better suited to special events, or anytime you want to be the best smelling in the room! Hacivat Oud is potent and long lasting. 12+ hours longevity with a heavy sillage. You really get your money worth! It is extremely costly though! 🛍️🤑 (You can currently find it at niche gallerie for an incredible price though, so always look for better deals)! @scentobsessedemma

#1434 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Okay. So this is a fantastic scent. No argument. I already liked Hacivat, not surprised I would like it even more with a double dose of incense and lots of oud. The formulation of this and Tiziana Tirenzi "Orion" are pretty close. The real question in my mind when I got this decant was whether the level of oud and incense would be so much better than Tiziana Tirenzi "Orion" (a scent I've been considering for a full bottle for a while) that I would be willing to spend twice as much for half the amount of scent and lose the birch note that I like. This flanker is way better than Hacivat. No argument. Admittedly the level of incense and oud is way more satisfying in this Hacivat Oud formulation than in the Orion, and the quality is excellent. But is it double the price for half as much excellent? Not for me. If I want oud that a cheap Aventus clone like Afnan "Supremacy Silver" doesn't offer, a spritz of any heavy oud and incense scent will do it. Dozens of scents I already own would work. So I won't be spending $250 for 1.7oz of this. But it has led me to try layering some scents I already own. For instance, layering Gucci "Intense Oud" and Afnan "Supremacy Silver" absolutely rocks! Though even that $20 bottle of Oud Reminiscence I never reach for would have done the trick. So I'll skip this scent for now. Quick Update: Wore it this morning. Six women commented in five minutes, telling me I smelled "amazing", "scrumptious", "delicious", "wonderful." That level of reaction is unprecedented. I guess I'm ordering a bottle.

This is the first oud dominant fragrance that I have actually really liked. In fact, I liked it enough to move it into the "love" category. I thought there was some rose in it, but upon looking at the notes, it might have been the jasmine coming through in an accord that made me think of rose. I usually steer away from florals, but the oud scent works with florals in a way that I feel exudes masculine elegance. Anyway, this beauty can go beast mode, and it is a strong confidence booster. I get how the oud scent can be a little repelling at first, but give it a decent application and go out and assert yourself. You will see the magnificence of the oud in action and on display. All of that said, this is still not as good as the original Hacivat. It is hard to appreciate the original Hacivat DNA because of the loud floral/oud combo, but I can I still detect it. If you don't like this oud version, that is okay, because you may still actually love the original Hacivat fragrance. It will not have the loud floral/oud combo, and instead, it will have a citrus scent that is combined beautifully with the Hacivat DNA in full force.

I was not a fan of the original Hacivat, it felt excessively mossy, now Hacivat Oud smells excessively oudy, but luckily I adore oud. On the initial spray this just smells like a strong authentic oud fragrance with a strong dose of pepper, the pepper isn't to my liking, but the oud is top notch, quite animalistic though. Shortly afterwards you can start smelling the hacivat DNA creep up slowly, this familiar mossy citrus, but its quite light and its much overshadowed by the oud. What you end up with is this strong natural oud smell with a mossy citrusy backdrop to give it some green and freshness. It lasts for a long time, but the projection is a bit mediocre from my experience. If you love Hacivat you might not like this, its quite far removed from what the original hopes to achieve. If you love oud then this is worth a shot. Despite how much I liked it, it's price tag is still far too steep 500 quid for 50ml? I think I'll pass until I find it for a good deal

This smells, in reverse order, just like its name. The oud is right up front and right in your face and it’s the first fragrance I’ve smelled that made me understand the “fecal” or “skanky” or “barnyard-y” descriptions of oud. The opening blast smells like literal smeared shit. If you can make it to the drydown, you are rewarded with Hacivat’s older, darker brother. The mature, learned one that’s been through....well....some (literal) shit. Be proud of yourself for getting through that first few minutes. It’s great for the remainder of the wear, which is until you sandpaper it off. Scrubbing won’t do it. You have to remove the layers of skin it sits on **Edit** The shit accord is gone. Probably, my nose got used to it. Comes off earthy and sort of chocolatey. Beautiful, beautiful scent

I mean, the name says it all, This is the before reformulation batches of hacivat with a TON of the real deal oud. As an oud lover i adore this fragrance but i gotta say, this is not for the faint of heart or unnexperienced noses. Im very experienced with real oud but these really surprised me because of how animallic it is for the first few minutes, i know, its dominique ropion but jesus, he was not playing with this fragrance! Opens up with a huge dose of indian oud and a hint of pepper, spicy but really nice, it quickly develops to a less animalic oud but still slightly dirty and you start getting that beautiful OG Hacivat Fruity sharpness. Beautiful! Not to mention but this is nuclear in every aspect. I think im gonna get the full bottle when i run out of my 3 ml sample. 9/10

I never wore the original Hacivat, only smelled it once a long time ago, but figured Hacivat oud must be the flanker of flankers if you’re gonna flank the OG Aventus killer! And hacivat oud is dank, a full spray from the full bottle reveals just how oudy this fragrance is, does not come across as synthetic to me so it is no entry level fragrance that’s for sure, however! Perhaps the perfect entry into oud because it seems to me to be an oud forward fragrance with the backbone of Hacivat. Definitely doesn’t smell Anything like my memory of original Hacivat. Way danker. Do your part in supporting the fragrance community by buying a sample!

Had Hacivat but unfortunately it was the type of scent I got noseblinded of within 30 minutes so I sold it after some wearings. People around complimented me all the day long but if I can't smell it myself it is waste of money. This one is way more potent and just like the original Hacivat should be - I love Hacivat Oud. It reminds me of Aventus Absolu and Maracuja. I got my full bottle for some 200€, still expensive but more acceptable than the retail price. Scent: 8.5/10 Sillage: 9/10 Projection: 8.5/10 Value: 3/10

Another masterpiece by Nishane, this has to be one of my favorites from the house alongside Nefs and Mana. Imagine Hacivat on steroids, supercharged with the finest raw materials, loads of high quality naturals and smoky, sweet, slightly animalic oud oil. This fragrance is dark, yet light; mysterious, yet inviting at the same time. Sprayed this on one of my jackets over a week ago and it’s still radiating, a true beastmode performer with insane sillage and longevity.

If Creed Aventus was 3 times stronger and long lasting + real oud. I dont get the "fecal oud note" everybody talking about . Beast mode ! Im ok to give 500 for nefs and mana , absolutely . Hacivat oud is so good and classy but..... 500$ ? No . 500$ for shem ? No . The nishane prestige collection ( for me) is 1 . Nefs , 2. Mana , 3.Hacivat , 4. Shem . However.. this one is very high class scent , scent for grown man/women , i love it .

Damn this one is really heavy and strong. Projection is out of this world. This is basically the original Hacivat done better with nuclear performance and a touch of stinky oud. I tried it yesterday, might get a bottle if i can find it for a good price, definitely not worth retail. But it's a love from me. Could be worn all year round, even in summer but with one spray.

A higher quality, creamier, smoother Hacivat with a touch of oud. Super high quality .... does it warrant the £470 UK price for just 50ml, probably not but discounters are doing it. Was probably just about worth the £375 I paid at seescents, it's pretty special to be fair.

I think the only reason this perfume remains in the background is its price. Extremely high quality materials are used. Longevity and sillage are amazing. A work of art that should not be missed at an affordable price.

The most gorgeous oud citrus combo out there. Dominique Ropion nailed it again here! Hands Down! It would be opulent to wear it with a suit on cool nights. I can layer it with white florals & oud oil for extra aura.

OG on steroids, and in my opinion better smelling. Hyperbolic green + incense start à la Ropion. Indolic, not fecal. Strong projection for 3-4 hours. Mad RRP, but this is a top pick if found at a discounter!

HEAVY oud at begining after 1 hour +- regular hacivat.. nothing special if you have Hacivat not worth buying this one just repaying to smell heavy oud for 1 hour

I also have my sample now. What I'll say is that any commentary comparing this to OFG is beyond embarrassing. And talks about a cheap oud are also embarrassing. The biggest surprise here is the fact that this doesn't smell like Hacivat (nor Hacivat X) and it barely has any oud either. I basically never get any of the oud that the people below are describing. To me, it smells like a mint chewing gum. And that's it. In terms of drydown structure, the best comp I have to this is Clive Christian's "150: Timeless" - that one has a mint-lavender base with ginger to give it some sweetness. Here's my experience: Opens similar to the standard fruity chypre that we all know in Aventus/Hacivat, yet somehow, it smells bright. I notice the mildest of ouds, but the scent overall seems bright. There are zero spices, not a single one (not fresh or warm). Smelling it up close for the first time, there's a very noticeable minty freshness. The oud is super mild, making the scent even summer wearable, but the oud does indeed lean eastern, yet not animalic. At minute 15, I notice the minty freshness combining with the base vanilla note to offer up the vibe of a mint chewing gum dipped in vanilla, or alternative, Enclave's spearmint oil dipped in Ani's vanilla. By the 1 hour mark, it's all minty patchouli. I exit this sampling underwhelmed. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't expecting something at least on the same tier as Nefs/Shem/Mana in terms of sophistication, but what we have here is a minty-fresh patchouli fragrance that could very well be the modern take of a chypre. Instead of the original's oakmoss, we just have fresh patchouli. I think I have more questions after testing it than I did before (lol).

Beautiful combo of Hacivat and oud (the real stuff). Regardless of the order of the notes, for me the opening comes on strong with oud and quite challenging, with a definite fecal smell. As it dries down, it gets better (or worse, depending on your perspective lol) with the fecal scent going away and being replaced by a cheesy oud smell. This retreats as well and after about 30 minutes, the OG Hacivat smell makes a subtle appearance. So subtle, in fact, I thought a better name would be Oud Hacivat. It continued to evolve and I found the Hacivat gradually becoming more prominent as the oud retreated. This change took multiple hours. It was interesting to experience the fragrance as it changed. Performance was very good with the scent being prominent after 12 hours. Sillage and projection were also strong. I'd rate the discounter price as reasonable and good value. This is the real stuff, after all. Very masculine fragrance in all its phases. Best to spray on 30 minutes to an hour before going out. Not for the oud novice. Hacivat Oud is a beautiful oud flanker of the OG.

A classic luxurious men’s fragrance. It’s definitely quite similar to the original Haccivat, but with a more natural earthy undertone with the pineapple brought down to a more mature level. This is what I would consider to be an “industry professional scent”. The Oud in this is more of damp wood accord than the more traditional smoky kind you might come across. Overall projection and longevity are both outstanding just like the original. I much prefer this one just because it feels more mature, slightly darker, and a bit more green. The price is definitely outrageous for what this is. But it’s worth checking out!

today i tested this on my skin and the first thing i got was strong fecal oud, and after 10 minutes the fecal smell mellowed out and i could smell the blend of citrus, pineapple and slight black pepper. as it dries down it gets more resinous and i can detect patchouli and vanilla., the vanilla is so faint though compared to the patchouli. i could still smell the dark oud in the background for around 3 hours. overall i liked it and if it wasn't so expensive for 50 ml i could justify getting it.

Not $300, this is actually €525 for a 50ml. EDIT 26th June: You can now purchase a sample of Hacivat Oud directly from Nishane as a standalone. To my European folk - they will not pay VAT for you, you need to declare the package to your respective customs yourselves. What they will do is they will write the value of the good down SIGNIFICANTLY (i.e. down to 10), so in some cases the value of the package will be declared to be below the minimum declarable value (e.g. 45 in Germany).

Tried this out at the local mall and gotta say that in this the oud over powered the original DNA and is really not good. But if you consider this on its own merit, it’s quite likable. Love the dry down which somehow reminds me of Kobraa.

Great fragrance, people who don't appreciate oud will not like this one, it opens up strong on the oud side but as it dries down you can clearly get the Hacivat dna. Love it, though the price is exaggerated.

Finally, I had the opportunity to try this fragrance. IMO, it combines Hacivat with a primarily pungent (Pissy) oud note. To me, Hacivat X is superior to this version. X initially opens similarly to the classic Hacivat, but as the fragrance progresses, it undergoes noticeable changes, particularly in the base. Tbh, I don't find anything significant about either release, and I don't believe they warrant an entirely new line. Meh.

Just briefly tested it from the official sample, didn’t wear it fully yet. At first glance/sniff: oud is there for sure, but I can’t say it’s an oud fragrance. In the important long mid and late phases, it’s patchouli and oakmoss. To me, it’s on the same line as other patchouli-forward oud fragrances. To give examples from the popular ones, it’s more similar to Oud for Greatness rather than The Moon/Ombre Nomade.

I detect a strong, cheap oud accord in the air, and I also smell alcohol. It smells fantastic when I bury my nose into my skin, but unfortunately I cant walk around all day like that to enjoy it. It comes off as a cheap, woody fragrance. This is better than Havicat, but not much better. So far, I havent found a Nishane that I like. 7/10

Very similar to Creed Aventus. Strong pineapple/citrus opening. Some smoke. NO OUD....did I mention NO OUD? I'm not sure how this differs from the original Hacivat. This is pleasant but at almost $500/50 ml....I'll let you decide for yourself.

Sadly, the worst one from this collection. Although I love oud, I don’t like the oud / fruit combo here. OG Hacivat is much better and way cheaper.

Super expensive Just Hacivat with Alexandria Orientale’s oud. Not worth it at all

Hacivat Oud is something very different from the Hacivat line, matter of fact; this perfume should have just been caled "Oud". The pineapple opens right away already followed by pepper and oud. After 30 minutes all that is left is peppery oud with some resins in the background, and let me tell you that oud is strong! I would never wear this in the summer, definitely for the colder months and some mature gentleman that can pull this off. Very rarely did I smell such high quality oud as this, but for me there is something missing in the drydown as it is a pure oud scent and an acquired taste. Definitely sample first as this is really strong! Edit: I went and tried it two more times, why the third time you aks? It smelled nothing like the first try... First try was really a masterpiece oud fragrance, whereas No. 2 and 3 it smelled like rotten pineapple, I have no idea what happened, tried it on skin and everything but if it really smells like this I would never consider it

im sorry for this review to those that like it. it was a free sample and lord i am glad because i would not buy this stuff under any circumstance. the oud is so overpowering its awful. if you are looking for love from the opposite sex this will run them away fast. there is nothing fruity in this. it is 100 percent oud.

I liked the Hacivat X, so I blind buy Hacivat Oud from the store because they don't have a tester, i paid AED 2,436 (approx. USD 660) and i hated it, OMG its ultimately the worst perfume I ever smelled, horrendous!!!!!!!!!! it is literally smell like a puke (a very drunk who ate sh*t for dinner) and someone desperately tried to cover it horrendous smell with a very cheap horrendous cologne Horribly disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can write books about how bad this fragrance is and how much I hate it. Never blind buy under no circumstances.............................

I sprayed this on my skin and it smelled like piss so i washed it off immediately. I didnt give it a chance to dry down but I could not stand the smell. Nothing like hacivat which I own.

Well... A hard point! Really! I own lots of fragrances, more of them ar with oud (beginnigs with rather harsh one form BVLGARY LeGemme FALKAR, Maison Crivelli Oud Maracuja and Oud Stallion and ending up with rather subtile Chopard Agar Royale, Royale Aigle and Mezinsir Perfect Oud. I just LOVE all of them! I own some summer fragrances as well - as Roja Elysium and Nishane Hacivat. BOTH ARE MY MUST HAVE FAVOURITES (as Crivelli)! I love both! I love Elysium for it not too citrusy and very well balanced bouqet, lasting for a reasonable time both on skin and on clothes. I love Nishane Hacivat as it is very well projected and has strong and confident longivety. Aa well, Hacivat DNA is something similar to well known AVENTUS. But... MUCH BETTER (even if less smokier) by all means! After trying HACIVAT, I understood, I want to try HACIVAT OUD as well (as oud admirer), combinig two of the world. Today I received it and tried. Firs impressions were "disaster - waisting of money!" "smells horrible! I cant use it not for myself, nor (ESPECIALLY) when going out!" etc. A feel of total fail of blind buy. FIrst impression of sh*** smell (or very similar). BUT!!! I gave it 10-15 minutes till I got to job... AND VOILA!!!! IT IS GORGEOUS!!!!! Both - HACIVAT and HACIVAT OUD are VERY similar, with simple HACIVAT has more pronounced citruses, that stays and stays...and stays.... Rather loud, but closer to Elysium when calming down (after 2-3 hours), bringing citruses towards back and making pineapple with its sweetnes more prominent. HACIVAT OUD is sweeter, more mature, not so loud, but more balanced, but with VERY harsh oud in first 10-20 minutes. Than it calmes down efficiently and sweet, juicy pineapple, patchouly, citruses (not so sour and loud) are coming to the first place, with light oud (that pronounce the little sweetness) on the top! An absolutely fantastic blend or even fusion of two worlds! But you should be brave enough to test it! First impression as not the correct one in this case ;)

Nishane for me personally has been quite the disappointment. Even Ani for me which I do like quite a lot is more on the simple & easy to understand side in my opinion. I will give it credit for being quite new at the time. Honestly, the oud in this is hard to detect. It's a very clean oud if there is real oud in here, either that or it's a very low concentration. Hard to tell between what might be coming from the oud or the woods here. I think we need to start pushing fragrance brands to be much more open about the materials used, if you claim to be making an oud fragrance then you should be willing to disclose the oud oil concentration % as well as the type of oud used. Overall, this is a very nice fragrance. Opens up really bright & juicy from the citrus' & then after about 30 minutes you start to get punched by the spices, woods & other notes a lot more. It's somewhat misleading in the opening, you expect something really easy to wear but after it starts to dry down it actually becomes a lot more complex & more difficult to understand, which is common for fragrances that are mid-to-base heavy which I would say this fragrance is. Still, it's not something I can really say I love. 8/10

Ok finally I got it, as the person under me said, it opens heavy eastern oud, actually quite like the Alexandria oriental as the person said 2 reviews under mine. However, give that 15 minutes to wear off and then the 2 have nothing to do with one and other. It becomes a beautiful blend of a more concentrated version of hacivat and an awesome new patchouli note I didn't get much from the first one. Most likely because that was a heart note and not a base note as it is here. Overall it's a great scent that will most likely maturate more as I just received it. Lasts forever as it's 40 percent concentration. Will review more as I wear it more. On a side note ropion is an absolute genius and maybe my second favorite perfumer behind provenzano, who interestingly was the nose behind mana, the last oud in the prestige line. Keep it up nishane you are killing it!

As a big fan of Nishane Hacivat, this perfume held a special place in my heart. Being an oud lover, I had high expectations and even ordered it blindly—which I wouldn’t recommend. Unfortunately, I was utterly disappointed. Yes, it carries the Hacivat DNA and the longevity is excellent. However, the scent itself just didn’t work for me. The vanilla, in particular, ruined the overall composition. I wore it for a day at the office, and not only did I get a headache, but my colleagues also commented that it smelled overpowering and synthetic. Perhaps it might fare better in colder seasons, but for me, the scent was unbearable. Considering the price, I couldn’t justify keeping it and ended up getting rid of it immediately. A 50ml bottle just wasn’t worth it.

Did skip this one for a while (owning the 3 others) because I disliked the original Hacivat This one tho, damn that oud is so dirty and good. It pairs so well with the pineapple and a hint of vanilla in the dry down. It smells like a good fermented pineapple with a lot of very nice incense swirling around I think its pretty hard to rank this series, they are all really good and unlike each other, so you can own all and still feel there is a big leap between them profile wise I would use Nefs and Mana for winters/clubbing, and Shem and Hacivat Oud for the summers/day time Performance are good for everyone of these scents but my Mana goes bananas hard (an older batch)

I never smelled the original Hacivat but this one opens with an oily and barnyard oud that starts calming down in the next 5-10 minutes. From there you get a strong pineapple note with some citruses, some smokiness and the oud starts morphing into something woodier and drier. With the hours the oud goes into the background and I get a sweet sharp anise with fruits that starts moving into Absolu Aventus territory. I like it, it’s quite strong but not super intrusive and except for the first 10 minutes of the natural oud opening, this is a very nice addition to the Aventus DNA list of admirers. Totally worth it at discounters.

Every time I see something so outrageously priced it makes me think of one of those women you see on dating sites saying the man they want needs to make at least $400k a year. Update: picked up a bottle at a steep discount. Overall it's a slightly different version of the original. You're better off just picking up the original. For me it's like combination of hacivat and tiziana terenzi orion (which is another aventus "inspired" fragrance) and both are cheaper than this.

A pepperier woodier Hacivat with a touch of Oud. Is it nice? Yes. Do I want it despite owning Hacivat? Yes. Am I going to buy it? No. The price is ridiculous even at the current £375 for 50ml at discounters. Will wait till the hype dies down and this is heavily discounted. I paid £168 for 100ml of Hacivat. No way am I paying current prices for this. In the air they don’t smell that much different

With all due respect to master Ropion, I must say I prefer the original Hacivat to the oud flanker. The addition of vanilla to the base in combination with the citruses + pineapple leaves me with the overwhelming feeling of "walking creamsicle". It's a vibe, but not my vibe. I appreciate the added dimension, it smells wonderful, just not for me.
