Hundred Silent Ways X

Hundred Silent Ways X by Nishane completely changed my mind. A friend once told me his fiancée loved the original version, so I gave it a try but found it a bit too feminine for my taste and never revisited it. Then I came across a great deal on the X version and decided to blind buy it and wow, I’m so glad I did. This version is definitely more muscular and bold. Everyone who smells it falls in love immediately. Even my sister stole it from me two days after I got it. That says a lot. It’s what I would call a safe blind buy. You can trust me on that. It opens beautifully with a peachy floral vibe, mainly tuberose, and then shifts into a wave of smooth leather that gives it a strong and elegant presence. I only sprayed it once and it projected very well. I haven’t fully tested the longevity yet, but knowing Nishane and their reputation, I am sure it will deliver excellent performance. This is a fragrance that blends charm and confidence. Elegant, modern, and addictive.

Oh wow — I LOVE this! I was expecting to hate this because I am not a big fan of leather and I already love the original Hundred Silent Ways so I could not imagine a good flanker that’d keep the beauty of the original while being different enough. I was so wrong. Hundred Silent Ways X is a darker, sexier, sultry, night version of the original. It's the beautiful, deliciously sweet white floral-vanilla DNA of the original with a dominant leather note. The leather here is very smooth and adds so much character to the scent while keeping its femininity. The performance is AMAZING too! At least 8 hours of longevity on my skin with a good sillage the whole time. Actually, I can still smell it the next day on my shirt with good sillage still! Well, what a great surprise! This, for me, is the best of the X line. So well blended!

Really beautiful fragrance and I definitely prefer it to the original - it's sweet and fresh and floral, but you can still absolutely smell the leather undertones. The longevity on this on a sample strip is super super long, although I can't comment on how it lasts on clothes/ skin. I would imagine it would last the same way on clothes. The projection is good but not overwhelming. I think this is really lovely especially for spring and could definitely be worn in either warm or cool weather, and would also be inoffensive for the office. The tuberose keeps it sweet and fresh enough to smell 'clean' despite the leather note, although I don't pick up the orange. I don't think I would buy a bottle (purely because I typically gravitate towards gourmands) but I still really really like this!

This is so delicious. I love a bubblegummy tuberose, and the opening is replete with that. It opens really saccharine and fruity, and soon a leathery-woody facet begins shining through. This facet is the most enduring part of the perfume. After a while, the sweetness is reduced to a suggestion on my skin. I am one of those people who can't appreciate a strong patchouli note, so I like that I can't detect a trace of patchouli at all. Just sniffed my wrist again and oh god. Yeah, I LOVE the drydown. I believe it is a versatile fragrance. I can see myself wearing it to work, school, and even on a trip to the supermarket. I can already tell that it is going to last a cute minute. I can't make any comparisons to the OG fragrance because I've never smelled it before, but now I'm curious.

Does anyone else detect a touch of Erba Pura in the opening? There’s a similar bright, almost effervescent fruity accord at the top that immediately commands attention. The evolution of Nishane X Hundred Silent Ways is exceptional. It transitions seamlessly from a luminous white floral–fruit opening into a smooth, refined leather dry down. That progression feels deliberate and beautifully structured rather than abrupt. The leather in the base especially stood out to me — it carries a softness and elegance that reminded me of a lighter, more restrained interpretation of Babycat. It doesn’t dominate; instead, it adds depth and warmth while preserving the fragrance’s refined character. Overall, the composition feels multidimensional and thoughtfully blended

This one is such outstanding scent with containing the leather in a sweet basis. I tried on my wrists first the OG and I kinda felt a bit of sickness from the same sweetnesses heavily on from the top to middle notes. I initially enjoyed from a paper though. This X version was different as when I tried it on my wrists, it absolutely felt more sophisticated and well elevated the scent and better than OG instantly to my nose. (might be for the top note only) I wish I could have that good chemistry with the OG. Nevertheless, I started to enjoy the leathery note which is a bit too strong after middle to the last but quite likeable in overall. I often reach out to this perfume and each time I adore that gorgeous scent!

It was a blind buy as I had never smelled neither the original HSW, nor the X version but I wanted to try this a little bit more as usually any type of leather accords suit me extremely well. This is another masterpiece from Nishane - super niche, super elegant and extremely beautiful. It is leaning more feminine in the first 1-2 hours when you can smell magnolia quite clearly. After that it becomes much more masculine with a strong leather note and amazing projection. I, personally, do not mind feminine-leaning fragrances but it might be a little bit challenging in the beginning for some gentlemen. This is a piece of art, the price is not that high for the quality you get. Go and try it, an amazing blind buy!

Hundred Silent Ways was already on my wishlist when Nishane released this flanker - but the moment I saw the leather note, I knew I wanted this version. Since I haven't tried the original I can't compare them. While for some noses peach takes the center stage, for me this bursts open with a Mandarin accord, with the added sweetness from a juicy peach and the floral notes whirling in unison in the background. Slowly as it dries down it deepens to an almost skin-like leather, sweetened by Vanilla. The projection is not too overwhelming but definitely more intimate and I got about 8 hours on both my skin and clothes. This gives off elegance and sophistication with the added twist of mystery from the leather.

This is a masterpiece fragrance that takes you through a whole journey. Off initial spray imagine you are laying in a bed of white florals including tuberose and jasmine while eating a fresh, ripe, juicy peach. Then after a couple minutes you start to sip on a creamy iris and vanilla smoothie. It then evolves into a leathery creamy peach concoction. After a couple hours the projection is still going strong and then a smooth earthy patchouli comes into the picture. The sillage and performance is very long lasting and it never stops evolving throughout the wear. This is a masterpiece and gets a 10/10 in my books. Definitely recommend I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like it.

I've been searching for a substitute for Penhaligon's Iris Prima for YEARS and finally I found it. This fragrance has more or less everything I love and they work together so well. It is expensive, but I had to buy it. I went to a store today, and I actually tried this first on my husbands arm saying it would suit him, but then after a while I bought it. It cost even more than on their website, but I just fell so hard for this. I tried both the original and this version, both were lovely, but this has more of that lovely leather accord. It's floral, sweet and suede. Lovely. It reminds me also of Chloes nomade jasmin version which I also like very much.

Spray a leather jacket with Hundred silent ways. Smell it. That is Hundred silent ways X. You get the delightful sweetness of HsW with a prominent leather note. The leather here is a little less and a touch softer than in Garcon Manque by Givenchy, but in HsW X it's vanillic and sweet. No, they're not dupes. This comparison is just to give you an idea of how much of an unmistakable, beautiful leather note you get here. Great performance all around. Perfect for cooler weather, and a fantastic choice for date night. Unisex and suitable for anyone to wear. But on me, I prefer HsW which leans more fem IMO. I would absolutely love smelling this on a man.

Such a beautiful, elegant and genuinely pretty perfume - I think this could be worn by a woman at any age and in any environment. It's rich and creamy but a little fruity; I absolutely love the jasmine in this one. As usual with Nishane, the projection and longevity are excellent, and it's not a typical heady nausea-inducing white floral perfume at all. The price point is high but I do think it's worth it, and I also think this is a pretty safe blind-buy if you were to purchase samples or a small bottle. I love the cuboid bottles and the lids, they are so pretty! Overall a 10/10 and a definite crowdpleaser (I cannot stop sniffing my sample...)

Essa fragrância me surpreendeu. Não esperava menos, mas se mostrou muito mais do que eu esperava. Ele abre mais frutado cremoso com fundo floral adocicado pelos primeiros 30 minutos. Após isso, o couro se sobressai porém não tão intenso pois se funde com a baunilha e o fundo floral, se tornando uma fragrância mais elegante, refinada. Apos umas 6 horas ele ainda exalava na minha pele e notei que o couro simplesmente sumiu deixando apenas a baunilha presente. Uma baunilha cremosa, suave e gostosa de ficar cheirando o tempo todo. Fiquei apaixonada nesse perfume, em sua projeção e fixação. Projeção de mais ou menos 3-4 horas, fixação de 8-9 horas.

This is so similar to the original you definitely do not need both. It definitely has a sexier edge with the leather but the sillage/scent bubble gives more of the original DNA than anything else. It’s a very likable tame leather and patchouli combo. Due to this I feel like you have to smell up close to even notice the added notes. I do really enjoy this scent but hundred silent ways is a love for me and I find it sexy without the added leather. I don’t feel like I need to pick up a bottle, but might be a better alternative for those that think the original needs a bit more edge. In my opinion you can’t go wrong with either version.

"I closed my mouth and spoke to you in a hundred silent ways" This fragrance is very easy to wear. Yes, it opens with a suede accord, which isn't at all overwhelming—at least for those who enjoy leather perfumes—and then reveals its niche quality, opening with a fruity floral symphony—which, yes, is very reminiscent of YSL Opium, in one of its most recent iterations. Those who like this olfactory profile will find this HSW magnificent to wear at any time of year, even in the most sensitive offices. Considering the cost of YSL, it's better to go with Nishane—and besides, a creative name like this is unbeatable!

Another gorgeous floral fragrance that I love but don't need since I don't wear this sort of fragrance much at all. Beautifully done, love how it quickly shifts from fruity to powdery and I love heliotrope in anything and that thing that it does that I can't describe ! A joy to sample but not something I will be buying anytime soon. Would make a beautiful gift for any lady in your life. Can't see who could dislike it tbh, I suppose might be boring to some but it is lovely. |I don't feel the leather is blatant at all, just adds nice depth. Mood : feeling beautiful, womanly

The opening of Hundred Silent Ways X surprised me as I expected a sweet scent from the start. It starts leathery and somewhat overwhelming/too busy, but turns into a sweet floral scent in a few minutes. I do not want this perfume to be known as the perfume that smells like Black Opium, but, it really does smell like that. Although better, in my opinion. Forever proud of Nishane for making such amazing fragrances while representing our Turkish culture.

I was scared to purchase this, but I had a credit and this was pretty much the only thing available. Turns out I love it! I don’t know what the bad reviews are talking about but this is a darker deeper take on the original HSW. The leather plays a supporting roll and does not overpower. There are no weird or odd notes to my nose. It’s still very much a floral gourmand, even with the added leather. HSWX is beautiful and I’m so glad I took the chance!

I must say it was not a love at first spray. Initially it gave some gasoline vibes and I set it aside for a few days. But at a second try I fell for it head over heels. Delicate white floral notes and sweet fruitiness are mixing so well with edgy leather. It results in such a sexy, elegant and yet badass scent. It's like wearing a leather biker jacket over a silk dress and a lace lingerie.

This is a beautiful floral vanilla scent! Yes, it is in the same category as Black Opium, no need to deny that, but this is better performing, better blended and much more luxurious version. The oily leather in the dry down makes it a little more unsex as the original was too feminine to my nose. Depending on what you are looking for, you will be choosing between the OG and the X version.
