Взех си го като коледен подърък, спонтанно и непредвидено. преди него имам още два парфюма на Nishane, Ani and Ambra Calabria. Този парфюм SHINANAY миреше на загниващи портокали почти през цялото време, като накрая е само на гъби и мухъл с малък спомен за поркокалите и някакви бели цветя в цялата гнилост покрай тях. Въпреки това за мен е супер уникална миризма през това време на годината, студено и сухо. Не знам дали ми напомня на някой парфюм или друга миризма. Не мога да спра да мисля за парфюма, от време на време отварям флакона и мириша от капачката, но искам да мине още малко време, докато го сложа отново върху себе си.

this is one of those wonderful, unexpected creations for the die-hard vintage perfume lovers. A majestic, tuberose-driven Chypre, with all the greenery, the earthy, woody facets and a smouldering, resinous (but dry, not vanillic or powdery) finish. it stays angular and intensely diffusive until the drydown, where resins and sandalwood are laid bare of their floral and mossy robe. great fragrance, and a great accomplishment of "olfactive archeology", despite modern perfumery regulations and superambers. really outstanding! (I purchased it as a blind-buy)

Wonderful new addition to this brand’s catalogue! Gorgeous floral, totally unisex , with enormous sillage and longevity! Good price too, whoever said it’s way overpriced is being ridiculous. Overall excited to smell such amazing quality in a genre that is arguably inundated with cheap chemical plastic smelling white florals.

A familiar type of old school guerlain-ish chypre but with some aspects amped and one very interesting addition in the porcini mushroom. The civet hits you straight away and the brightness of the citrus, then the florals reallly come in, smooth creamy and quite amped. Aldehydes back that up. I would say "yes nice, bit too feminine for me but well done" here and move on but the undercurrent of it all is the moss complimenting mushroom note which I find very intriguing. It makes this one independant of the diaghilev types and other takes on this scent profile and might make me upgrade to bottle.

I find this to be a genuinely intriguing and unusual fragrance, one that clearly belongs to an experimental category. It takes its name from a Turkish song composed in 1989 and was created by the Greek perfumer Angelos Balamis, which already hints at a strong conceptual backbone. To my nose, it feels like a deliberate tribute to the chypre perfumes of that era. Civet, aldehydes, oakmoss, and white florals come together to create a scent that is paradoxical by nature: simultaneously soapy and animalic, clean yet undeniably dirty. It oscillates between airiness and earthiness in a way that feels intentional rather than accidental. It’s fascinating to smell, though I remain uncertain about its wearability. In many vintage fragrances, animalic notes tend to sit quietly in the background, adding sensual depth while allowing the composition to read as polished and clean. Here, however, the animalic facet is unapologetically forward and dominant. As always, perception varies from nose to nose, but what stands out most to me are strong impressions of mastic gum and civet. It’s the kind of scent that can feel unsettling on skin; provocative and seductive, yet also bordering on cloying. That tension seems to be part of its identity. Performance is immense: longevity and sillage are both extremely powerful, very much in line with what one expects from Nishane. You've lived in the woods your whole life, have a pet wolf and chop trees in your spare time. This is what all the alpha males preaching to you on your social media platforms would smell like if they lived the lives they claimed. This is also what I imagine that the men who wore scents like polo green in the 80's thought they smelled like. Shinanay is much smoother (and overall way better smelling) than a polo green however. This is an unapologetically resinous fragrance that I can see being a signature scent for an overwhelmingly confident man's man. If that isn't you, then this must be worn intentionally or rest assured that it will wear you. From the opening to the end of its 8 hour lifespan it makes itself known with a good projection and sillage. If you love the house of Nishane and want to get into animalic fragrances, then this may be the easiest wear that they have to offer in that style. While I think this is an amazing scent (that I wear alone at home from time to time), it is ultimately too animalic for me to wear as often as I would like.

Strange witchy floral chypre that rewards adventurous perfume lovers. The perfume opens with a citrusy blend accentuated by galbanum and elemi. The heart is floral with some mastic and fungus. The perfume settles on a resin laden base with oakmoss, slight sandalwood and civet. The oily unisex scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. It is not intended to please and makes for a haunting somewhat foreboding wearing experience. Enjoy!

Gardenia Tuberose bomb, don't kid yourself into thinking this is something else, some woody and interesting earthy nuances but not much else, the civet is voted high but it's only there to give lift and depth to the florals, there's no filth in this. It's a good fragrance but I was expecting something else from an experimental line, for this vibe I've got Fracas. Unutamam's still the king.

Very high quality vintage dusty flowery scent. Immortal sillage and longevity. I feel like an old money grandmom travelling in a Volvo with a chauffeur when I wear it. Crazy performance and very high quality. But the scent profile is a relic of past.

This would have been great during the 90s when the Martin show was running on TV. “Oh my goodness!”

This really caught me by surprise. Yet another release from the experimental line from the brand that walks on the edge. A floral scent that most men can adorn without a thought of conflict. Shinanay opens up with a slightly sharp and tart blood orange-galbanum combination and later it settles down into an oily, and I mean literally an oily, white floral, animalic scent. Doesn’t transition much after a point but I absolutely love the cloud I’m in while wearing this. I love most of Angelos Balamis’s works for his own line from what I’ve tried and this one is no exception. Really an untameable floral beast! Definitely a wonderful addition to the brand’s catalogue. Give it time and see it bloom!

After a quite sharp openning with blood orange and others, alddehydic soapy facet with resins especially elemi & mastic, floral facet with cepes (mushroom) absolute (mostly porcini), woody facet with the animalic side, all together playing a hide-and-seek by pairs. All the out-of-the-ordinary facets together create an unforeseen harmony while oakmoss help them come down to earth. Shinanay, is a vivacious fragrance, far away from dull, yet your nose should be ready to push the limits. The perfume has its edges making the blend so one of a kind. 👌

Very vintage-y vibe, for me it does have some bogue maai dna but not quite similar to the perfume itself, more close to sarah baker rules of attraction, but there are differences in composition, this doesn't have so much tuberose as ROA and it can be wore by a male also, this is art, bringing such composition that smells like 70' and 80' - SUPERBISSIMO! or should i say better: SHINANAY! rating - 10 out of 10

Angelos is a master of animalic florals. I love his Angeliki and Narkissos. When I learned this was his creation I blind bought this, and I have no regrets. This is not a “crowd pleaser” in that you must enjoy this narrow category of animalic floral. I do not consider this a “vintage” smelling fragrance, as I think it’s a modern representation of this category.

Old fashioned smelling tuberose. Very strong and pretty sweet. Kind of smells like an air freshener at first spray but then the dry down reminds me of some classic tuberose frags like Blonde and Mahora. I’m not getting anything too earthy. I was hoping for more animalics to come out but I feel like it’s pretty straight forward vintage tuberose.

strong mushroom vibe that really stands out. it’s definitely white floral dominant but the cap that makes it unique. it’s different, for sure and so intense but i think i like it

It’s not as weird as the other one in this group... not a fan of the opening... well into the dry down it’s nice. A pass for me though.

Yeah shinanay does make me think of martin and makes me think tyler perry's madea would wear something like this.
