Spice Bazaar

Parfümün toplamında en çok algıladığım nota kimyon oldu. Giriş ve sonu hariç her yerde kimyon yoğunluğu görülüyor. Açılışta kısa süreli, yalnız başına ekşi-tatlı duyulan biberiye ve zencefilli narenciye havası var. Devamında bu ferah havaya yoğun kimyon ağırlıklı baharat harmanı ekleniyor. Gerçekten yuzulu, zencefilli yapı kaybolmadan ferah baharatlar oyuna dahil oluyor. Dipte ise baharat yoğunluğu çok azalıp koku vanilya -yoğun bir vanilya beklenmesin- ve safran tarafından mühürleniyor. Jorge Lee en beğendiğim parfümörlerden biri. Nishane bu parfümü artık üretmiyor, ne yazık ki böyle. Allah akıl fikir versin diyorum. Elimde 3 ml'lik bir dekant vardı onu kullandım ve her kullandığımda insanlardan iltifat aldım.

Well, a few of you talked me into it... Bought blind & glad I did! As has been mentioned, Spice Bazaar is surprisingly dry, & I have to say, I love that about it. It keeps it from becoming overbearing & for once, I'm truly enjoying the cumin note as it's presented here. Add the mentions of yuzu & ginger, & I knew I had to check this one out. I'm enjoying its performance; moderate sillage & the staying power of an extrait... Quite nice! Warming & clean. Definitely recommend you sample this if it sounds appealing to you. I could see this being a bit of a "secret weapon" for those of you who are into blending fragrances, too. Nice work. Thumbs up, Jorge!

Great, unique scent. A wonderful cumin perfectly mixed with saffron, cinnamon, pepper, fresher notes of yuzu, juniper, ginger, and woods (cedar) half a step back. It is a very realistic description of the actual smell in a spice bazaar, made into a super-elegant perfume. Very aromatic and almost refreshing (thumb up), pretty dry (yay). Vanilla stays safe in the background, and only appears quite late. Very very exciting, I adore it! PS: I blended it by mistake with L'air du desert marocain, and totally loved the outcome. It gives to L'air the edge it misses (thanks to the bright yuzu & juniper), and it offsets that off-putting "puffiness"

A spice market with a huge store of the spice cumin. I don't mind cumin but this is a bit too much for me. Then the wood note is very evident and then the fresh dry yuzu. The cinnamon, pepper and saffron are at the back. It's dry spicy scent but I've been to much spicier spice markets. A unisex scent with little sweetness from the cinnamon. I'd have liked the addition of Amber or some more warmth. The aromatic notes are more evident with time. The overall effect is dusty spices. It's nice but I've tested better. Moderate longevity and sillage. If you love cumin then do try this fragrance.

This is my first Nishane experience from their Discovery Set, and I can say that, for me, Spice Bazaar has set the bar really high. The frangance's name says it all, you can spray it on your skin, close your eyes and find yourself surrounded by an astonishing mixture of spicy colours and aromas; however during the first moments you'll be gently taken by the hand by the citrusy and fresh opening, then you'll be there on your own feeling the warmth of the Spice Bazaar

This one is incredible. Its so fresh with the aromatics and citruses.Blended so well with the delicate vanilla base.There is a dirty edge from the pepper and cumin giving a beautiful dusty texture to the scent. This fragrance is stunning! It reminds me a bit of Kenzo Jungle Homme. However the Spice Bazar is way more intensified and better composed than Jungle.

From the moment I laid my eyes on Spice Bazaar by Nishane, I knew I was going to love it. I love the combination of spices with sweet vanilla and juniper. To me it really does smell like a spice market. It lasts a very long time on my skin. Every time I wear it, I get many, many compliments.

A pleasant but ultimately somewhat unsatisfying masculine woody aromatic scent. The scent opens with juniper, rosemary, lemon and ginger. The heart is mostly cedar surrounded by some cumin and cinnamon. As it dries off to its mostly vanilla base, one can detect hints of saffron and pepper. The perfume is amped with Iso-Super E type molecules for a super long lasting effect and projection. Not that this is a bad scent but this middle of the road aromatic will not satisfy either those looking for a strong spicy scent or those looking for something more tame and powdery. But if you can accept it for what it is, it is enjoyable!

This is reminescent to atelier colognes “Philtre Ceylan” which I prefer due to its bright bergamot tea opening before everything goes down to a persistent cumin note - which I find sexy. Nothing special here

the cumin is too strong in this one to be a perfume it's a great scent but I think it would be better as a candle...reminds me of walking in market in New Delhi last February before covid19 that being said great quality,you get cumin , sweetness from yuzu and saffron maybe vanilla you feel the rosemary cedar juniper in the background it's well blended : it's a NISHANE projection is close to skin I would say for men 40+ If you love spices and especially cumin, you will and enjoy this one 4 seasons go light in summer and for office use

Reaaaally dry and really spicy (duh). This is a beast i just could not conquer. It does its job perfectly, unfortunately not a job that i appreciate. Paints the picture of a spice baazar perfectly, it is an interesting scent but i find this unwearable, this is strictly art in a bottle.

I'm getting a disconcerting and unpleasant metallic note from this sample. It's probably my temperamental skin chemistry, because the first five minutes were lovely. It's a fresh spicy combination, and thankfully not too heavy on the cumin.

I think it is a big mistake that this product will no longer be produced. I hope they will consider producing it again. It is a rich and beautiful perfume to enter the top 5 of the Nishane fragrances. The perfume starts with a mixture of pepper and citrus, slightly sour, slightly salty, but also peppery and spice notes. Then, as the citrus notes retreat, rich cinnamon cumin and red spices emerge, as if you have entered the Istanbul Spice Bazaar and you are walking there. The base notes of saffron and pepper continue and leave the skin. The more you use this perfume, the more you love it. It is a very successful work that should definitely be in your collection. Parfüm biber ve turunçgil karışımı bir açılışla başlıyor hafif ekşi hafif tuzlu ama bir o kadar da biberli ve baharat notalarıyla.Gerçeken enfes bir açılış. Sonrasonda turunç notaları geri çekilirken zengin tarçın kimyon ve kırmızı baharatlar ortaya çıkıyor tıpkı İstanbul Mısır Çarşısına girmiş gibi ve orada yürüyormuşsunuz gibi. Dip notalarsa ise safran ve biber devam ederek tenden ayrılıyor. Bu parfümü kullandıkça daha da çok seviyorsunuz.Kesinlikle koleksiyonunuzda olması gereken çok başarılı bir çalışma.Nişhane için büyük kayıp.

this is not my recollection from three visits to the egyptian bazaar in istanbul where i load up with a kilo or two of osmanli baharati and crushed chilis. i cook with my turkish spices at least a couple of times a week. they are addicting when tempered and made as the base of my lentil soup, ah turkish lentil soup! but i digress. and methinks spice bazaar, the nishane fragrance, is quite a digression also. when wearing it, i seem to have taken a wrong turn and ended up in the flower and fruit section of a tokyo department store basement. ah lovely, sweet, polite, exotic department store basement. totally pleasant and rather pastel. the water color pictorial expression of this fragrance is spot on. wan colors organized in safe pyramids. and did i mention yuzu? yuzu is definitely there. but i am not sure that gentle yuzu is the mood of the hustle and bustle sensory overload of istanbul's spice bazaar. i actually like spice bazaar (especially after dealing with the slap in the face that green irish tweed gave me the day before.) and in wearing it, i am half a world away from the golden horn; i am strolling in a spring garden of fragrant flowers bright and cheery, a bit of tartness carried in gentle wafts. (or maybe half my scent receptors are on vacation)

Exhilarating spice fusion! The mixture of exotic spices with a juniper bed makes this smell fresh and energizing. It's an ingenious pairing. Most spice scents combine spices with amber or a more prominent vanilla note, but Spice Bazaar with its evergreen cleanness, has a refreshing quality that feels bracing. Juniper gives the spices a feeling similar to the wake-up splash of cool water on your face in the morning. Nishane bolsters the juniper with cedar, and the spices with ginger and yuzu. The ginger note especially adds to the effect, and during the drydown, all notes coalesce into an addictive accord that tickled my nose with spicy, zesty, citrusy pleasure. I could detect saffron with its arid tang, cumin with its Eastern seasoning, cracked black pepper with its gunpowder bang. This is a really superb spice scent. Universally appealing, complex yet easy to wear! I've seen it described as recalling both the forest and the souk. It walks the line between Eastern and Western aesthetics. Wall Street meets Arabian marketplace!

This to me is in the vein of Gucci Envy for men, but more unisex. Actually, I happen to wear Chanel Egoïste, despite it being marketed for men. Spice Bazar to me is Egoiste Tea. And this soft “tea” note subdues the sharpness of the spices in the Egoiste side of Spice Bazar. Until its latest drydown stages it goes very smooth compared to Egoiste, which however remains more interesting until the end. Here, on the other hand, surprisingly, some strange urine note (like old musty tea) emerges long past the drydown and refuses to decay further. It may be a ph issue. It happened both times I tested it. The solution is to simply respray Spice Bazar, as it’s a very nice and comforting spice blend with a cup of herbal tea. Great for cozy times.

Spice bazar the name do true justice to this fragrance it's really take you to spice bazar of middle east I bought spice bazar and sultan vetiver and they both are good infact very good would try another from this house soon.this perfume are so good that you immediately fall in love with them and you want to make thwm your signature only problem with spice bazar is its silage is not good as sultan vetiver or may be I got a wrong batch.

This is very good aromatic woody spicy. Projects well and said to last - I am yet to see but I can imagine it does. I think in this one the one small thing I'm missing personally is the sweetness, I like perfumes to be a bit sweeter this has a very dry spicy feel to it. Allot of Yuzu with Cedar and the background of saffron. The black pepper shows up later on. I really wonder, if Nashane is Turkish brand then the bazaar should be Turkish at least but there isn't any Turkish stamps like Turkish delight, leathery notes, soapy notes, and over all spicy notes! it's more of an open beach market at summer time!

I have been looking for a smiliar fragrance since it got discontinued and the closest thing to this fragrance is Amouage Lustre. That would be my recommendation. Try it out.

Similar to another reviewer I have a suggestion on a similar scent, Amouage Overture Man please give it a try as it scratched my itch for this amazing scent.

Cumin, cedar with yuzu and a bit of saffron. This smells very one dimensional and quite dull. Nothing to get excited over with this one. Meh!

totally disappointed about this, good longevity but soft silage. it doesn't deliver for its price

I remember this one. Smells like dirty laundry or the the most organic soil. Hard pass!
