Tempfluo

Nishane Tempfluo with its funny name is really an interesting scent indeed. And quite lovely if you let it be. Tempfluo apparently means time flows or flows of the time in the odd language Esperanto... Tempfluo encompasses to me both a fresh beach vibe and a bit darker spicy ness combined also with something urban unnatural like some describe as play doh, some as plastic/metallic, some as rubber or asphalt which intrigues some and I guess repulses some. For me that twang is diffused and I experience it mostly like something a bit dusty or dirty that slightly stains the otherwise more beautiful notes. Like the feeling of experiencing a beautiful but somewhat crowded beach from a nearby cafe right by a semi-busy asphalt road if that makes sense and is subdued enough for me to enjoy it. it also helps the composition to feel very modern and cool without trying too hard. I am going to go out on a limb here by suggesting that if Barbie and Ken were two very cool characters - they would both be wearing Tempfluo as their signature scent... To sum it up the vibe of Tempfluo it is modern, cool and fun with a clash between the beautiful beach and the dusty urban city while at the same time harbouring the possibility of becoming something timeless. But you have got to be ok with also the somewhat clashing urban notes in the composition. This is by no means a safe blind buy! You need to be on board with quite a bit of saffron in combination with something I would have interpreted as cardamom and lavender mixed in a way that in some distant ways reminds of the sophisticated blend of these types of notes in for instance BR540 by MFK or Gris Charnel by BDK. In reality there is neither cardamom nor lavender in Tempfluo, but for some reason the combination of I guess praline, orange blossom and cashmere wood and vanilla mixed with the saffron translates that way to my nose. Here the combo of saffron with florals and herbs and sweet spices stand out more and pushes the saffron to the max as this is a strongly projecting fragrance. The impact is prominent to say the least not to use the word bomb... And it’s fun as it sends your mind in all sorts of directions. Sometimes a whiff of something gourmand like an orange vanilla almost chocolate praline comes up. And the next this plasticky sweet vibe that makes me think of Barbie and Ken or the dust from a hot busy city street. And sometimes the citrusy zests from the orange on top dominates to then leave way for an eruption of beautiful orange blossom surrounded by sweet nectar... And in other times the saffron totally dominates and can even take Tempfluo into almost a leathery direction. (A soft smooth suede kind of leather, not a screechy saddle shoe store kind). In essence Tempfluo flows through the notes like quite a little chameleon. For me Tempfluo does therefore not develop in a traditional way but rather projects different little puffs of its composition depending on I guess your skin and the environment surrounding you and so on. In a sense it is more of a linear type of composition that allows you to pick up on different things throughout the wear. What I find interesting with several of the Nishane fragrances is that they somehow manages very well to also hold on to the citrus notes in their compositions in a rather outstanding way making them last throughout the wear time and not just be a fleeting thing in the beginning. You can definitely pick up on the oranges in Tempfluo at any time during the wear, just as any of the notes. For me Tempfluo is blossoming during late spring and all throughout summer. It is a both fresh and spicy scent so it can also work from day to night, as it is refreshing enough not to be cloying in the heat but spicy and dark enough to handle a hot night as well. It is incredibly unisex. From that point of view this has the potential of a small masterpiece as it will also bring forward different things depending on who it sits on and when... Because of how Tempfluo also behaves I urge you to not make the mistake to just smell it from the bottle or from a blotter as that will most certainly give off the wrong impression. Tempfluo needs to be tried out on your skin. Projection wise this is a scent that lets people know you are on your way. It’s a bold projector with a huge sillage, especially for being also somewhat of a freshie. And the longevity is great as on most Nishane fragrances I have tried. Nishane as a brand is not for the faint of heart in my opinion. On me this lasts easily 8-12 hours with strong projection and I will still feel it the day after I have used it until I shower. And on clothes until you wash them... As far as similarities to other fragrances goes I can sadly not help in comparisons to YSL Libre which I see here Tempfluo be compared with quite a lot - as I am probably the last person on this planet who has not yet smelled YSL Libre. 🫣 But an uneducated guess would be that a Tempfluo probably in that case is a cooler and crazy fun sibling on steroids in comparison. As I doubt YSL Libre would have been such a huge people pleasing success if it had smelled exactly like Tempfluo making me guess that YSL Libre probably is less in your face and perhaps more of an easy wear? Out of all of the suggested reminders up here I would say Gozo from Jeroboam comes closest. Gozo is however more sweet, powdery and floral, a lot less spicy and is void of the urban twist that makes Tempfluo so unique. Gozo is also more feminine in my opinion a lot because of the makeupey powdery ness that you can’t find any of in Tempfluo. Gozo has however believe it or not an even stronger longevity! Prada Paradoxe is more of a classic fruity floral designer and is not very similar to Tempfluo at all if you ask me apart from the fact they both carry orange blossom. Paradoxe is more fizzy and citrusy and a lot more girlie to my nose. But also a bit heady in a way Tempfluo is not. It also lacks the depth and complexity of Tempfluo. They are similar in sweetness levels though. Paradoxe may be an easier wear (except if you are sensitive to heady fragrances). But also a lot less unique. It bears no resemblance whatsoever to In Paradise Riviera from Ex Nihilo which is a much lighter tropical fresh musk. Riviera is a very feminine elegant scent focused on fresh beautiful flowers, sunshine and clean musk. Tempfluo is all about fun and playfulness mixed with an urban edge. There is also no musk in Tempfluo. The really interesting thing about Tempfluo is that it gives the impression of being a bit of a challenge when in fact it’s whole real vibe is easy going... It is sort of the surfer who on the surface seems to have nothing but waves on his mind but underneath we hope there can be a world of depth, but that turns out in the end to just be a fun loving Peter Pan who never wants to grow up... I think there is a bit of surfer boy or Peter Pan in all of us. And Fragrances like Tempfluo points that out in a complex but at the same time lighthearted sort of way... making us see if we want to the sometimes lighthearted, sometimes more dramatic movements of the waves back and fourth through the flows of time... ❣️

Love and beyond for this fragrance!! Funny how nobody said it before... this perfume smells like Play-Doh, just sparklier and cherry-er. Foremost this is a lactonic sweet fragrance, which comes from the Praline; with a deliciously creamy musk envelope from the Cashmere Wood; fruity (not citrusy but rather cherry like) from the Mandarin and the Orange Blossom which are masterfully blended with the Saffron; vanillic obviously from the Vanilla; and with an amazing white flower aura from the Jasmine Sambac. Aromatic, creamy, fruity, white flowery, and altogether amazing!!! Completely unisex, and wearable in any weather, daytime or nighttime, but preferably on a special occasion. Performance is quite good, projection is strong for 2 hours, becoming moderate for 1 more hour, and intimate but present for the rest of the journey which will last for about 8+ hours. My current favorite from Nishane!!!

Tempfluo is such a unique and beautiful fragrance, truly one of a kind. It opens with a zesty freshness of mandarin and bergamot, accompanied by delicate white florals of orange blossom and jasmine. An almost plastic/metallic sweetness creeps in as the saffron combines with the white florals, which is actually a surprisingly stunning combination. In the dry down this sweet and fresh metallic scent profile is made even sweeter with vanilla and praline, while also gaining a soft and fluffy base of cashmere and cedar. It’s such a unique and stunning combination of notes which is perfect for the spring. The performance with this scent is really good, especially for a relatively fresh fragrance. This might be my favourite release from Nishane’s Time Capsule line - it’s such an interesting perfume with so much depth and quality.

blindbought it and it came and i was so suprised man. I love nishane i have 3 of their fragrances now and they are just one of those houses that you can tell is high quality. The saffron is like a smooth nice saffron paired well with the cashmere wood. Could be an all year fragrance but i think the sweet spot is in the fall when the leaves start turning yellow orange and red. Its a smooth mandarin and candy like aspect to it on the opening. But the dry down is so much better. I feel like for a lady who is a bit younger like 20-30 this is amazing and then for a guy this is also perfect as just a chill fall day sprayer

If Libre Intense/ Libre Le Parfum is a black dress and heels girl, Nishane Tempfluo is a black dress, thigh boots and leather jacket girl. Such a sexy fall/ winter spiced caramel orange blossom scent. In comparison to Libre Le Parfum, Tempfluo is spicer with that heavy dose of saffron. The saffron is so strong I almost get a tiny bit of airy leathery vibe from it. You almost think you’re imagining but it will appear randomly throughout the wear. Projection and longevity is typical of Nishane...lasts into the next day and until you wash your clothes. 10/10

This was ,,love at first sniff" for me! This IS how I imagined Dama Bianca would be after hearing the YouTube-ravings about it being ,,ethereal",,,otherworldly",a ,,scent for faeries",a ,,bridal scent".While Dama Bianca turned out to be (for me) a cloiyngly sweet ,,girlie-scent", this is the real thing:a really good done orange blossom which doesn`t turn soapy, sweet but not excessively so, it instantly gives me romantic vibes and I can really imagine this as a bridal scent!perfect for sunny spring or sommer days, for me definitively feminine!

For me, this is an unisex fragrance, worn by both sexes and I would definitely say that it is suitable for spring and summer, the citrus is very fresh, the saffron is not Baccarat-like, the oud is not heavy and muted, on the contrary, the cedar, like wood, gives the feeling of a green, cool forest. The vanilla is lost among the stronger scents for me, there is almost no sweetness, even though there are pralines among the notes. For me, the perfume is the more feminine version of Nefs Nishane.

Ok, at first I was a bit miffed because I felt Tempfluo smelled too much like Libre, and don't get me wrong, there are similarities (same perfumer, Anne Flipo). But once I smelled my own sillage I had to do a double-take. There is a "laundry-esque" aroma associated with Tempfluo that is so pretty. The saffron/orange blossom/leather combo makes it alluring and it projects! Dry-down was more masculine leaning, however. Can't wait to see how it wears in heat!

This perfume is salvo! Seductive from the first moment to the final. Every phase is a full experience. Spicy, saffron opening tastes amazing with praline aroma. Jasmine is wild, opulent, but so well mixed, that naturally fits to the gourmand base. Cashmeran is cozy and musky, prevents vanilla be too loud. Tempfluo has a master composition, I am charmed! --- Strong projection, longevity 5-6 hrs.

This smells so good. It’s a soft creamy citrusy orange blossom scent with a bit of a clean laundry vibe to it. It does smell like a more refined version of Libre. Libre to my nose is very sharp and piercing. Longevity and projection on this is above average. Funny enough I can smell a bit of what each review claims they smell, “shoe store”, “play-dough”, etc.

I don’t usually go for floral scents so I am quite surprised that I like this one. It may be because of the citrus and spicy notes, which compensate for the sweetness, particularly the vanilla. I would still need to layer it with something dark and dirty though. Perhaps Nishane’s Suede & Saffron, or maybe Afrika Olifant. Rating: 8/10

Got it on a blind buy, and got surprised by the uniqueness of this fragrance. Got lots of compliments on the first day of use. Very strong and potent smell. Catches the attention of people around. It slightly reminds me of Issey miyake - Nuit D'Iseey Polaris.

Extremely different aroma, saffron, oily watery bitter citrus saffron insanely charming juice, good start and remains so outrageously pulling my nose, it warms up, but the initial concept is leading for me, charmingly remarkable perfume!!!

Beautiful but smells very much like YSL Libre, which I already own.

This is very beautiful. If you’re looking for a better made libre, without the astringent smell most designers have or the abhorrent lavender note, this is the perfume for you. This is remarkably well made, something that even untrained noses upon smelling this said that it “smells expensive”. I personally enjoy libre on others very much, there’s quite a bit more vanilla and you can't quite smell the astringent thing unless you’re wearing it yourself, and it has a beautiful scent bubble. This is better, stronger and more refined. All in all, this dna isn’t for me because it’s associated too closely to people I know and wear things like this exclusively (the same person that said this smells “expensive and like it costs billion upon billions of dollar to have it, and you still have much more to wear it”) It’s a beauty and a jewel. Absolutely stunning and surprisingly versatile. Sounds like it would be for a bit colder weather but I wore it to a beach resort no problem and it performed beautifully. Long lasting, powerful, unapologetically feminine and even the clothes you’ve worn smell like it for days after.

This is a complex fragrance. I don’t dislike it, but I can’t say I’m in love with it either. It opens very citrusy and quite spicy, with a strong saffron presence. The lavender is definitely there, giving it a resemblance to Libre. There’s also an underlying nuance almost like citronella. Not in the harsh sense, but it does have a faint “citronella candle” vibe in the background. Overall, it’s a good perfume, but not for everyone. It feels very unisex and definitely familiar; it’s not a scent profile we’ve never smelled before. If anything, I would compare it to Libre, but the metallic version, because this one has several metallic facets running through it.

On paper this fragrance should be my signature scent. The notes are like almost my dream fragrance yet something about this composition on my skin.. I don’t know. In the air it’s beautiful and yummy but on me I’ve got playdoh vibes and now that it’s in my head I can’t not smell that and it kind of ruins it every time I wear it and sadly it’s so long lasting that I’m stuck smelling this complicated scent that is both beautiful but also smells like cheap kids clay and that just.. it rubs me wrong. I am so in love with Ani that it’s insane and I love Hundred Silent Ways so I figured Tempfluo would be another love but it’s just not.

Perfectly unisex spring & summer freshie. I wouldn't describe it as woody. It has this sweet, flowery, candy-like aroma, reminding me of retro violet hard candy I had as a kid, probably because they were one of the few sweets/treats we could afford growing up (90s kid here) The Libre comparisons are there. The only difference is, I wouldn't wear Libre, but I could pull this off (as a guy). I think it's very overpriced, but if budget is not an issue - it's a nice smelling scent nonetheless. Projected for about 1.5 hours and then stayed on my skin throughout the day.

This one is great! Totally underrated. I can see a slight resemblance to Libre, but after 5 wears I could still not really decide what it reminded me of. And it just clicked to me - YSL Manifesto - the discontinued beauty. If you are as old as I am and remember manifesto - give this one a try. It's definitely sitting for at least 6h on me, which is great for work. It's not very light to be worn every day, imho, but it could be a great date night scent, summer party, etc. Trust your nose. Great release.

Simply beautiful and alluring and sweet. For me this is a feminine leaning fragrance. I can't quite see myself wearing it, but Wow do i like the scent. It has a gummy bear note in the opening, and it keeps that lightly candied scent for the rest of the wear time. I'd say all year, all times of day (with some care at the peak of summer). Absolutely something i'd recommend getting a sample of or finding a tester at the store you can try. Personal score: 9/10.

It’s the best from the time capsule collection but Nishane has better ones. It smells clean with white flowers scent without being overly sweet but there is like a medicine note that bothers me a little, maybe the saffron. It lays more feminine but a confident man can wear this. It does remind me of Sospiro Dolce Melodia and YSL Libre. Scent 7,5/10 Longevity 9/10 Projection 8.5/10

A strong, sweet composition, somewhat simple in its sweetness. There is a syrupy, dense note that weighs the fragrance down, even as it enhances its longevity. Juicy, non-tart citrus fruits blend with florals, a distinctly sweet praline accord, and a creamy base. In theory, everything harmonizes beautifully, yet the actual effect feels heavy and slightly unrefined.

Has a designer feel to it, my wife has Libre and they do have strong similarities but Tempfluo seems richer and denser in nature, it’s for sure a like for me. I think it’s worth it at discounters and performance is pretty solid. Stop by my titktok for fragrance content: nerolicannoli

A brilliant rendition of YSL Libre. Unlike me, if you enjoy that line this is a safe blind buy. It offers better longevity and even more of that cashmere wood and citrusy freshness combo that doesn’t sit well with me.

Very similar to Jean Paul Gaultier Fleur du Male. A Sweet white floral bomb with a touch of citrus. A good fragrance with its own applications: best suited for evenings or parties. Unisex, leaning feminine.

High quality citrus and vanilla fragrance. This has distinct notes to Ani. The projection and village are strong. There is nothing to hate about this fragrance. An underrated gem from the house.

I'm not sure why this is hyper more. I can't get over how vanilla and citrus it smells. I just got the extrait so it's super powerful after one spray. Love it.

I feel like people just go off of what others are saying and not using their own free will to think for themselves. I love each and every note in this fragrance. I thought this would be an instant love for me, so I blind bought this fragrance because of the comparison to YSL Libre which used to be a signature scent for me pre 2020. I was hoping for a niche version of that scent profile. Instead what I got was a niche version of Prada Paradoxe Intense which I already own and prefer to this. To my nose this smells very similar to Prada Paradoxe intense but on steroids. Two sprays to my neck and I could taste the fragrance at the back of my throat. I had to drink water to get the taste out of my mouth. It settled after about half an hour. It’s a good fragrance but it’s not my cup of tea. I try not to blind buy but there was nowhere to test the fragrance in store. I’ll be declutterring this asap.

This made me realize that I simply don’t like the Libre DNA. I went into try this hoping this would be a version, an illegitimate flanker of Libre that I would actually like but no. Interesting, considering Libre Intense was my signature scent for four months at one point. Now I can’t bear to smell it. Maybe I was secretly pregnant back then. However, in the case that you actually like Libre, I don’t know why one would spend more money on something so similar. Especially considering libre has no issues with longevity.

If you like white floral perfumes, you will definitely love it and it opens with lots of citrus at first. Then the flowers come into play and close with a silky powdery feel from cashmere and cedar towards the end. And it really does smell like Libre, just a higher quality version!

Smells like rubber tires and orange blossom. I'm not the biggest fan of orange blossom but I still expected to like this based off the notes and I was excited for it because this is the most feminine leaning fragrance in the Time Capsule collection. But I have to say it's my least favourite because of that plastic rubber smell that doesn't dissapear even after it dries down.

This one was a hard metallic smack in the face to me! I'm so disappointed since I thought this fragrance would be a potential signature. Unfortunately the metallic, sharp note clung to me for quite long and then it all turned in to a super sweet and scratchy mess.

This is a no for me. No thank you. Super floral. White floral. Didn’t get any of the other notes.. well saffron, yes but 😝 Typically jasmine sambac vs jasmine I prefer but here it’s not good. Big let down for me. Gonna sell FB

the citrus plus saffron becomes full on lemon cleaner on my skin... unfortunately my worst blind buy :/ that being said it's still an amazing perfume, very underrated, just doesn't work for me

I don't know why, but I am getting shoe store from this. Nope.

Firstly, I do not like or own YSL Libre, which is why I held off buying this fragrance. Sometimes, what one person smells is not what another person does. Having said this, I did blind buy this based on the notes of mandarin, Jasmine, cedar, cashmere wood, vanilla and bergamot, and I’m glad I did. Oddly, the notes I pick up on more aren’t the ones I purchased it for. In general, I feel like this fragrance is a saffron, orange blossom bomb. Safffon was a leap for me, but it works here— especially in the sillage. I find this fragrance to be sweet, but still quite unisex. If I smelled this on a man, I’d really enjoy it. On my skin, it lasts for over 12 hours with strong projection. I do find this scent a bit linear. After about an hour it stops developing. This isn’t a bad thing, as I enjoy that smell. Although I did, I would not recommend blind buying this scent. I think there are notes that are mass appealing, but I think the way this fragrance has been constructed might not come off as sweet as it seems in the notes. It is sweet— but definitely a bit more challenging and sophisticated than your Juicy Couture.

A unisex fragrance that opens with juicy mandarin and bergamot, with a hint of saffron. After an about 15 minutes, it turns into notes of jasmine and orange blossom. The base is amber-woody with a little bit of musk. Unfortunately, to my nose the whole scent comes across a bit plastic. The projection and longevity are both very good. It shares some similarities with Libre, but to me Tempfluo is much more citrusy. The scent didn’t wow me and the price for a full bottle even less 😂 I still prefer Libre.

Wow! This is very unique and pleasant smell. It is a perfect blend of citrucy and warm notes leaning towards warm but not heavy. There is a ceartain high note that is holding me to it, i don't know what is it but is kind of addictive. Lovee it! Edit: After 2 months I realised which note is holding me onto it. Safron! Tempfluo reminds me of Imaginaries Liquides- Liquide becausw of thay Safron, Orange blossom, vanilla combination.

The first thing I smelled was Libre. Now while it is ridiculous that this smells like Libre, it's the smoothest, most classy version of Libre. I HATE Libre and all its flankers because the orange blossom is so rough and cheap-smelling. Templuo is amazing, and exactly what I'd hoped Libre would smell like. That said, would I buy it? Probably not, because everyone would think I was wearing Libre.

It always surprises me how different our senses are. For me, this has nothing to do with Libre or alike. It is warm, a bit spicy, it does not project like crazy, but it stays with me for the whole day. It just sings high quality, and although it is definitely unisex, and not my usual type, I highly recommend it for a try to everyone.

ıt opens and smells like scandal le parfum pour homme. maybe scandal le parfum pour homme smells like Nishane tempfluo😅 I can't tell the difference because they're both manufactured in 2022. All I can say is, I really like the similar DNA in these two scents.😍
