Nivea Sun

This one has just been stocked for the first time in the UK. Oh my god. This smells like a little bottle of nostalgia. Every time I get a whiff it puts a smile onto my face and I don’t realise I’m doing it. Opens up with an almost sweet sunscreen coconut smell, then after about 30 mins starts to smell more powdery and refined. Personally like the initial blast more than the dry down but still smells amazing. Unisex. Solid 2 hours of projection. 5 hour longevity which isn’t too bad for a toilette. Sunny summers days sort of fragrance. I’d personally only wear this on a nice summers day so that the nostalgic allure remains in the long run. Simply amazing well done Nivea

I think this is just a beautiful juice. And it is such a different approach in the creation of a fragrance in the traditional way. I'm a man btw; and im gonna rock this one.. it is definetly more "feminine" than it would be "masculine", but idc it smells like summer, thats it for me. Maybe im gonna layer it, if it turns out to be too powdery-floral. I am gonna give this one a ?/10 because it's super God-Tier, but i don't compare this with other Fragrances. this feels like a category of it's own.. the composition is not like something to philosophize about. but it's just a perfect blend of things that make it a Wonderful and Nostalgic Stuff.

Love love love! Clean, soft, powdery, fresh. It's a fascinating and nostalgic smell. I've shown it to family and friends, and everyone gets a bit....confused...and happy..? You can almost see how pictures of their childhood summers flashes before their eyes for a split second. The longevity is quite weak on me, but it's perfect for a fresh pick-me-up during the day. Kind of like putting Carmex on dry lips - it switches, softens and calms your mood. Even a guy I dated last year bought it. He's going to layer it with and tone down his signature scent, for a more summer/day/going-for-a-walk scent.

To me, this is more 'perfume' than sunscreen, although it clearly and defiantly shares the same DNA, so that is no criticism. It is more 'new family member'. Honestly, I swear by Nivea sun products, and I also really do love this scent! The opening is a full on, very loud, face full of 'this is AMAZING!!', and my only wish would be for it not to quieten down quite so much because if you don't also fabric spray it pretty much vanishes without trace. All Nivea fans, and actually anyone just looking for a sunny, feel good summer scent, could do worse than giving this one a try!

I have bought this on a very cold rainy November night and my goodness it has transported me back to lazy days on a Balearic beach! This has the DNA of Nivea sun lotion with a dash of Sunflowers and a warm woody skin scent dry down. I cannot stop sniffing my arm. Longevity is yet to be determined but considering this 30ml was less than £10 I’ll respray as much as needed. This is simple, fun and utterly joyous. Fragrance doesn’t have to be complex to be good and this is proof of it.
