Being a perfume with a prevalence of warm and spicy notes, I see it more suitable for winter, perhaps on a sunny day. Questo profumo mi ha conquistato con la sua unica piramide olfattiva, che è come un viaggio attraverso misteri e superstizioni. La stella dello spettacolo è il peperoncino rosso piccante, un rimedio tradizionale contro il malocchio nel Sud Italia. L'apertura è stravagante, un trionfo di questo potente simbolo miscelato con l'anice stellato, creando un accordo audace e pungente. Il cuore rivela note di basilico e cipresso, aggiungendo un tocco verde e vivace. Non colgo le note marine, ma c'è un sottile accenno di zucchero caramellato che aggiunge un tocco di dolcezza. First I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who actually read my reviews and take my advice. I take that very seriously and try to give you my most honest opinion. I am aware that this fragrance is not new. It was given to me by an International fragrance house that carries other products. It was also in a bag filled up with other random brands and I spontaneously and randomly picked this out of the bag. Again, I will be honest and tell you this was not the first one I picked. The other one is not bad by any means. It's actually a very good fragrance but it is certainly meant for spring and summer. I am looking for something meant for right now. In America that is the months where the weather is cool, a little bit rainy and a lot of excited for the upcoming holidays. We are about 10 days away from Halloween, so that means I better get as much cheer as I can out of these last remaining days. The question is does this fragrance do that? The answer is. I don't think this fragrance is meant for that. So the short answer is no. But the more complex answer might be that it depends on if you think bad luck is a theme for Halloween. Some people might think so, especially if they are into Crystal balls, tarot cards and palm reading, Black cats etc. You could be cool doing it that way. That's why I like this. Everything is there. It smells good and it smells like it's high quality. I like that it's family owned. The packaging design is unique and also high-quality. It checks all the boxes for me. Again Italian perfume strikes again. It's absolutely beautiful. But I didn't say it's for everybody. It's certainly different. All the better for this time of year in my opinion, however some people may not like the basil the red chili pepper and the star anise. For those of whom you don't know, the English translation of this fragrance is anti-evil eye. So the notes within this composition are supposed to ward off the negative energies you feel are following you around. Does it feel like Halloween yet? Maybe a better question is does it feel like Los Angeles yet? Lol

#822 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Protection against the "evil eye." Cute marketing for sure. Glad I bought a sprayette to try this out before getting a bottle. Hoo boy is this spicy! Like walking into the kitchen of a Italian family restaurant. Grandma Fertina's house smelled like this (Grandmother of my ex. I never got used to cinnamon in the lasagna, and I probably could have used an evil eye repellant when I told her we wouldn't be raising our children Catholic). I love this scent's uniqueness. Notice there isn't a single entry in the "reminds me of" section because no one has smelled anything like this before. Mariaceleste Lombardo must be an absolute scent samurai! Amazing creation! BUT, there's definitely a spray limit on this stuff, on the skin, absolutely not on the clothes. If you overdo it, it's a scrubber, and if your stomach is feeling sensitive that day you should pick up a different fragrance. It's not nauseating per se, but it opens SO strong! The combination of red chili pepper, basil and anise in the opening was too much for me, which I suspect is responsible for the below 4.00 rating. But if you hang in there it calms down, and then Ohmigod! The dry down is yummy and surprisingly moderate in sillage and longevity. Definitely would not inflict this on the car pool unless you applied an hour beforehand. I'd never wear this to work. But I'd use this as datewear, especially if I ever date another Italian girl. I wouldn't recommend you blind buy this as it sells at around $170. Probably not for everyone, but I'm in for a bottle!

This is a stunningly executed spicy fragrance, perfectly unisex yet ever so slightly leaning feminine in the most seductive way. It shines best in autumn and winter, where its warmth and texture truly come alive. The chili note is the star here, not aggressive or gimmicky, but refined, smooth, and beautifully integrated. This is chili done right. Bold, elegant, and deeply addictive. Among a collection of over 400 perfumes, this fragrance doesn’t just stand out, it sets the benchmark. For me, it defines how a spicy perfume should be composed and worn. Without hesitation, this is my absolute favorite spicy fragrance. 10/10

Beautiful red pepper and warm spices. It’s sweet but not particularly gourmand. Like putting your nose over fresh cinnamon sticks, or opening a new package of ground cloves. The slightly bracing patchouli and basil are clever and make this feel like an old-school apocathary creation. Glad to own

I really like this. It lasted a long time. Not sure how it projected though. But I could smell it all day at work. The pepper is nice and the almond really shines. I'm happy that it's im my collection.

At first, the dry woody scent feels very divine.And last note on my skin it changes baked vallila!! It is so amazing!! My most favorite perfume of I Rituali collection.

A unique and captivating fragrance that immediately reminds me of spicy kunafa.

Purchased a sample for my husband as a novelty as he is a fan of sampling culinary hot peppers. Yes, the pepper is prominent for a while. It is still present when it ultimately dries down, but it does a 180 degree turn into a slightly sweet, evenly smooth and warm, lightly spiced fragrance with hints of wood. Seems like it is versatile enough to wear in most seasons. I plan on purchasing a bottle for my husband, it smells unique yet appealing for most occasions, though I would avoid over spraying.

What an odd scent this is. Opens up with a big burst of photo-realistic spicy pepper, anise and basil and smells like a spice cabinet. Once it dries down it still has those spices but it has a very pleasant sweet, slightly salty woody base. It's very good tho but maybe spray 10 mins before if you're going to be indoors since the opening can be overwhelming for some people.

Love it! Just bought a lovely full bottle. Creamy red pepper with sweet touches. Loads of other goodies in this one(see notes). Delicious. Light yet noticable. It makes me smile.
