Casta Diva

This is the most natural and magical smelling floral I have ever come across. I love it! ✨💛 When you first spray it, you definitely get a nice mixture of the white and yellow florals harmoniously mixed together. Mainly a clean jasmine (not indolic) and frangipani. It is just sweet enough but not overly sweet or sugary. Just a natural floral sweetness. But after a minute or two, this smells mainly of creamy frangipanis! I am obsessed with it! I have been searching for a Frangipani forward fragrance but I haven’t been able to find something as perfect as this. It reminds me of my childhood as there were plenty of beautiful and fragrant frangipanis where I lived. This perfume definitely transports me back to those days and makes me feel so nostalgic. I can’t get over how creamy and addictive the frangipani is in this! It’s probably the vanilla base🌼🥛 This is extremely elegant and classy, and it feels so comforting to wear. It’s like a magical garden filled with fairy dust and beautiful flowers that glow in the dark. If the glowing sundrop flower from rapunzel tangled had a smell, this is exactly what it would smell like! 🧚🏼🪄💐 Also, it lasts a really long time on me and the sillage is amazing too! I feel like you don’t necessarily have to love strong florals to love this, because this gives off such an ethereal and elegant vibe. It’s a creamy and very well blended floral. Not sharp or screechy or indolic at all! I’m very picky with my florals and I usually go for gourmands or super sweet scents but this is just gorgeous! I personally feel like anyone can wear this. It’s also suitable as an everyday scent because it’s not nauseating at all and it makes you feel so comfortable but put together at the same time! Love love love it! I don’t usually say this but this is a 10/10 to me 💛

I’m a huge admirer of Nobile 1942. I have been drawn to many of their fragrances like a moth to a flame. Casta Diva (Bellini anyone?) is a an extremely pretty luminous yellow/green floral with enough darker notes in the base to prevent it from becoming merely frivolous. A perfect Spring/Summer scent. I love it!

Oh how I love this perfume! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I can not really detect what notes it has but to me it really smells like white flowers, very creamy and sensual but fresh at the same time. It's truly an unique scent, something that both can be worn day & night.

Casta Diva is such a lovely bright, optimistic scent. This is the diva in her youth, playing and singing in the Italian sunshine. A beautiful ylang ylang, frangipani and sparkling green fragrance.

The general first impression is of a low key white floral with fresh elements and a soft woody backdrop. I notice ylang, definitely, but also rosewood, which isn't listed in notes. Rosewood has a lovely rounded soft, fruity woody scent, and that seems to ground this perfume, also making it smoother. It's quite light, elegant - not too sweet - not a big white floral at all. I don't find it very characterful though, for example compared to Ponte Vecchio for women, it's very timid (I love Ponte Vechio for women, which is a far more distinct floral/iris - more about sunlight and pleasure than moonlit night). I do find Casta Diva a tasteful perfume. And I can see Norma wearing something low-key and natural, if a moon worshipping priestess wears perfumes that is! Though the florals in this are tropical in origin, there's a green-ness throughout that maintains a cooler, more transparent feel. (reminds me a bit of Iperborea by Villoresi, but not as cold). I can see where this might conjure up moonlight on green grass and stone, wearing a crown of white florals in your hair, but for spiritual rituals I suppose I'd expect something with incense - a touch of smoke and frankincense maybe! Pleasant, elegant and gentle. I like it, it grows on you.

Castadiva is confident, flirty and young, and evokes a mood of pure happiness. It’s a light and sprightly, ebullient, and pretty floral fragrance with a base of vanilla. The florals are candy sweet yet fresh, with a touch of the feeling of sunny citrus from neroli, and expensive tropical vacation vibes from frangipani. The ylang ylang used has a corporeal feel and provides some texture to give the fragrance enough density to make an impression. Castadiva reminds me of a privileged young woman, who has grown up in a world that trouble never touches. Her mother is wealthy, her father is handsome. She herself is beautiful and innocent and full of energy and joy and excitement for life. She’s always smiling, why wouldn’t she be? If you want to put on some of that energy for the day, this is for you. It’s a little bit of completely uncomplicated happiness in a bottle. The longevity is about 8 hours on skin and it casts a good scent bubble for the first three hours but then moderates in to a skin scent.

As the manufacturer states, this fragrance resonates like a celestial voice, with its pure and flowery notes, rising towards the bright blue sky. It is a fragrance that combines with sunny days, a walk in the park or a walk around a Lake filled with flowers on its banks. It contains green notes, besides of jasmine and ylang-ylang, in the output. In the heart of the fragrance, a bouquet of white flowers – frangipani (plumeria), osmanthus and Egyptian Jasmine – watered by neroli. Finally, oak moss, grey amber, musk and vanilla, enclosing this composition. It's light, simple and silky, but projects very well, besides having great durability. Particularly, it's not my favorite type of perfume because, although it is very well done, reminds me of some body moisturizers. But as the target audience are not men, deserves attention on the part of women, especially those who seek to be perfumed, but do not tolerate all types of fragrances, especially, the strongest and sweetest.

Light and sweet, bubblegumy white floral - very feminine (princess-like and preppy), and reminds me of an upscale body lotion. Unfortunately, I don't get that much of the oakmoss and amber in here. It doesn't have the best longevity and projection, but it is enough. I would associate this with spring, but it will get a lot of wear in summer as well, because of how light and easy going it is (not cloying at all). If you are a fan of feminine, sweet leaning white florals with some ylang ylang and candy notes, and don't mind, that this isn't necessarily a natural / photo-realistic scent, You will love this, I reckon.

Casta Diva - Chaste Goddess - hmm it does smell chaste/ modest more than sensuous. It doesn't make me think of Norma from the opera though. I'd imagine her enjoying a deeper scent. If this is a singer it's a lyrical soprano rather than mezzo-soprano. It's not a dramatic soprano anyway! Apart from all the associations though, I'd describe this as spring-like and pretty - lilac and yellow blooms in cool sunshine. I get soapy ylang, osmanthus peachy-ness and green notes. Great for spring and early summer. I definitely prefer Ponte Vecchio Femme for high summer though.

I was rather rash blind buying this but thankfully its lovely. Its not as heavy on the ylang as folk make out. yes, its a floral but its not screechy. My biggest fear. The description referring to divas and such like make it sound like an overbearing floral. I think its the musk that gives a creamy feel and tones the flowers down. Moderate sillage and longevity.

This is lovely, a bountiful array of yellow and white florals, gently and sensually intermingling in perfect harmony with each other. Very much standing in a field of flowers at night, bathed in the soft glowing light of the moon. Ethereal but still grounded. Surprisingly befitting of the aria it's named after. Perfect for spring and summer.

I got this in the hopes that this would give me true frangipani but this translates more like a non-screechy Diorissimo on me. Very spring like, brightly floral - for some reason this makes me think of the small blue muscari / grape hyacinth flowers in the spring. Lovely even if not what I was hoping for looking at the note pyramid.

I couldn't quite grasp the idea behind this perfume (which definitely isn't about divas and opera, as a lot of people noted in their reviews) but I'm watching Babylon, with Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, right now and this scent totally gives me the vibe of early, flamboyant Hollywood portrayed there.

A big, warm, yellow floral that opens with a sharp hit of green, then settles into a notable (not at all ignorable) fragrance for the rest of the day. Done with the care and sophistication that Italian perfumery expertly, consistently, dependably brings to the game.

Such a lovely perfume! A perfect combination between white florals and yellow florals! Very easy to wear, perfect for the spring time, very soft, feminine, clean and a little bit sweet!

Easy to wear, pretty floral fragrance. Decent performance, but it’s not stellar or in beast mode. I quite like it.

Casta Diva is bright, sweet, and fresh. I get apricoty osmanthus, frangipani, and vanilla. In fact, just like the similar perfume, Paris Hilton Siren, it is too unrelentingly bright, sweet, and fresh for me, bordering on irritating. It's very pretty, in ways, but it's just not a perfume I would want to wear.

It’s a very easy to wear floral - nothing is too overpowering and the notes work nicely with each other. It’s not a strong scent and the spring/summer seasons would best compliment this fragrance. It has a slight soapy edge to it which gives a fresh and clean feel.

The Ylang ylang, oakmoss and Jasmine are an extremely powerful 'gang' in this fragrance, It certainly isn't a quiet one. Personally I find it too cloying, in fact, I sprayed it on a paper strip and left it sitting on the corner of my desk and I could smell it wafting from 4 feet away for at least 3 hours while I was working... it is very potent. I was too scared to spray it on my skin in fear that it would give me a bad headache. That being said, just because this isn't my kind of fragrance, others might enjoy it.... especially if you love your perfumes to be LOUD.

This fragrance reminds me of a less sweet version of the new Isabey fragrance. I think frangipani and I don't get along. I can't tolerate this.
