This beguiling fragrance created by Cristiano Canali for the splendid house of Nobile 1942 is a winner. It was a case of ‘love at first sniff’ for me! The bitter orange and peppery aromatic opening perches softly on a sensuous white floral / rose accord before sliding, almost imperceptibly, into a darker landscape, wherein musk, ambergris and woods deliver a curiously archaic coda. I was neither bothered nor bewildered by this captivating invention and declare myself positively bewitched! Simply beautiful.

this one courted me like a lover. in the store, she made a sweet, familiar first impression, blowing red volutes of spiced pomegranate in my face before going in for that first kiss. after knowing her only a few hours longer, the siren revealed her humanity to me; she illustrated a life rich with walks through orange groves at sunset and the scent of pepper lingering after dinner while her family sweetened their palates with fruit and cigarettes... should you seek to know her more deeply, be warned: she guards her heart in a cedar chest. she’ll hesitate to tell you of her life drenched in the tears of mother mary, and when she does, she’ll only get it out in a whisper. i think this is because when she gets to the part about christmases full of marzipan, you realize where you’ve heard her voice before; she is the neighbor you played with one autumn fifty years ago: this is the beautiful La Danza Delle Libellule steeped in decades of a life lived to the fullest.

This one has a beautiful opening which settles down with strong lily of the valley and musk for me, very powdery but not in a boring way and feminine for sure! I wish the white floral notes were a little bit weaker

This smells like a fragrant rose dipped heavily in grape flavored pixi stick powder.
