This finally arrived in the mail! I will start off by saying I am obsessed! When I saw the notes, I was so intrigued and I knew I had to have this. Vanilla, caramel, sea notes, Jasmine. It sounds so interesting and delicious. And it really is! This is a VERY vanilla and caramel forward fragrance. I would label it is an aquatic gourmand vanilla. It is super sweet, airy, and delicious. When you first spray it, you are greeted with a blast of salted caramel and vanilla. Yummy! Then as it starts to dry down, the aquatic notes make an entrance, but they still leave the spotlight to the caramel and vanilla. There are also some white flowers in the background, giving this fragrance more depth. When it completely dries down around 2 hours later, you can smell some woodiness and benzoin, but once again the vanilla and caramel are always prominent. 🍦🍮🧂 This smells like you are in a beautiful beach in a small town somewhere in Europe, and you just finished your swim and your skin still has that saltiness from the ocean. You then walked into a cute little icecream shop and grabbed a vanilla cone with caramel drizzled ontop. On your way out, you walk past a plant of jasmine and you get a whiff of the fresh flowers. 🍦🏖️🌊 Levante has exceeded my expectations and if you love aquatic vanillas then you must try this one. Yes this does resemble Olympea, but this is much more edible and it has so much more vanilla and a salted caramel note. Overall I am obsessed incase you can’t tell lol💙 Also, I think this is unisex and it can be enjoyed by anybody who loves a sweet aquatic vanilla and salted caramel. Sillage and longevity are moderate!

Salted caramel! This is so delicious, it's warm and sweet, but also quite summery and refreshing due to the salty, oceanic accord. I don't detect a lot of floral notes in this. There are many vanillic fragrances that rely on heavy white or tropical flowers to achieve a more beachy, summer-appropriate vibe, so it's nice for a change that this doesn't happen here. Instead the sea water note is the main counterpoint to the gourmand caramel and vanilla, so the fragrance has an intensely salty and even mineralic edge. I love it. The benzoin is also quite strong and adds some smooth balsamic warmth. I also smell a creamy woodsy note that makes me think of cashmeran, even though that isn't listed. All in all Levante fits into the gap left between Armani Bleu Turquoise, CK Reveal and Olympea Intense. I love all these, so it's only natural that I love this, too. It's oceanic enough for summer, but warm and sweet enough for the colder months. Caramel is the most important note, but it doesn't knock you out with its sweetness. The fragrance lasts over night on me and leaves a soft, icecream-esque vanillic caramel scent in the morning.

I think this is what Vanilla Vibes was trying to do, but failed somewhere along the way. So much better, let me count the ways: Levante is a natural marine vanilla scent, with light, complex notes of musk and patchouli mixed in. I don’t pick up a specific caramel note but their is something creamy and dreamy in this blend. And yes to jasmine being present after the opening mellows. I can imagine this perfume could have a large following, and I can imagine anyone who is a vanilla fan liking Levante. Luckyscent sells this in a 15 ml size, and I bought it blind in order to qualify for free shipping.... and I’m so glad I did. I was not expecting to like this as much as I do. I initially liked Vanilla Vibes—in fact it’s the only JHAG that I feel positive about— but it was not enough to make me want to own a bottle. The ingredients felt somewhat cheap, and that’s the main difference...and why I love Levante. Finally I found a sweetly persistent vanilla perfume with good performance for summertime adventures. This perfume won’t announce your arrival, but I bet people will want to step in close.

Non vanilla lover here: (Sorry if my English is not perfect) This is indeed a piece of art and I can understand it. It's a perfect, soft blend of some indeed oceanic notes AND... rich vanilla. That's it! :) Due to the complexity of vanilla note itself, I hardly can catch any other note from this fragrance. 100% for the "girly girls", and people who adore vanilla. This is a beast mode first of all and second of all (which is why you are reading this comment probably) the fragrance smells expensive and high quality. It's not designer-like vanilla. It is rich, caramelised, soft but loud at the same time vanilla. I repeat this word so often so that you can finally understand in the end of this comment what's really the dominant note, haha :) Indeed the only train you'll leave after you is beautiful vanilla. But please be careful with amount of sprays... 1-2 sprays is enough in my opinion for at least 4 hours. I cannot rate it as a non vanilla lover. I will rate it though for how good quality, rich and powerful the blend is. I hope I can try more from house of Nobile. ♥️🤗

This one grew on me within a few weeks. It's mainly a marine/salty fragrance mixed with caramel and vanilla; quite simple and not developing with time and yet a pretty unique combination. I do sense a bit of banana, somehow, as Elena Prokofeva suggested in her review above. It wears wonderfully on a woman, giving the impression of delicacy, freedom, nostalgia and dreaminess all in the same thing. It's a caring, gentle woman standing at the seaside, thinking about the past and all the vastness that the sea brings. I tested a lot of 'mermaid' scents, but they were all heading to the seaweed, quite disgusting direction - not wearable enough and definitely not sexy enough. This one, however, is a bit of a mermaid scent, still being pleasant.

Incredibly fluffy, is it powder? there's a cotton-like quality about it. Breezy, like the sea, but not the ocean if that makes sense. The saltiness of the sea foam carries on the breeze of a cool winter sea. Soft and whispery. This is not as sweet as I was expecting from the caramel. Can't really even detect it! Dry down is even more beautiful than the opening! Unlike any vanilla I've tried. A unique, whimsical, very soft and lighter vanilla. Year-rounder and incredibly universal. I also think it's unisex. Honestly, it's one of the best vanillas I've ever tried! For those who want to be a little more care-free, who like to listen to the waves greeting the shore, and who want to be hugged by the sun, the clouds, and the shore breeze

I received this by chance as a sample, and initially did not think much of it - a comforting vanilla, nice to have. But I just kept coming back to it; There is just the softest note of pillowy, whipped caramel with a pinch of salt, which makes this so addictive (but still a very vanilla-forward perfume). It's not overly sweet or sugary, which is the exact quality I look for in my vanilla perfumes. I can't decide if I'd wear it in colder weather or slightly warmer - and honestly, I think it will shine in both. The mineral marine note makes one think of sea and summer, but generally it leans warm and sweet. It lasts a very long time, but becomes a skin scent after the first 2 hours or so.

This fragrance is weirdly addictive. This reminds me of cruises I'd take over the summer, but specifically on the East Coast, standing on deck under warm sun and in an open ocean that spans nothing but blue vastness for miles. Imagine the salty ocean breeze carrying airy white florals with FLUFFY caramel & vanilla. Like a sweet, salty, and creamy cloud. It lasts and projects too. When a breeze blows by, you'll smell delightfully nautical. I just feel like a wealthy marine wife in a Nancy Myers movie, it smells like an excellent credit score on a million dollar yacht.

I was in search of a salty fragrance and Levante hits the spot just right. It’s salted caramel delight accompanied by beautiful white flowers that are balanced out by the cedar/sandalwood and vanilla. It’s a great twist on a gourmand scent that is perfect for spring and fall. I tested this side by side with Blue Turquoise and they’re very similar. I would say close cousins with Blue Turquoise more incensy and woodier, not as aquatic and does project stronger. However I love Levante much more for everyday and Blue Turquoise is best for fall/winter.

Every time I fly to another country, I spend some time trying out fragrances in the duty free section and if I enjoy the smell, I write it down in my phone for me to buy it later. This is why I bought this, I've had this on my list for about 5 years I think. I can say that I don't even remember how it smelled or why I liked it but I decided to get it 3 days ago and I'm actually glad I did. It's sweet and salty at the same time, it has good sillage . It's what a perfume that's on my list should be.

this is a lot sweeter and less floral than what i'd normally wear, but i find the aquatic/vanilla/caramel combo so comforting. i don't sense the woody notes others mentioned, even after it's turned into a skin scent several hours later. it evoked some lovely childhood memories growing up in a coastal town - walking up and down the pier, stopping to watch the taffy pulling machine in the window of the candy store...instant "love" for me.

An lovely salty sweet vanilla perfume. The opening is a lot like Couleur Vanille from L'AP, which came 3 years later, yet I find Levande to be way sweeter and more flowery. It then changes drastically in the dry down and actually reminds me of the discontinued vintage L'AP Vanilla Absolutely. I prefer Couleur Vanille because it is more mellow and salty, which I prefer. This one is more happy and joyous.

Caramel fudge and sea salt with some white flowers. This is great! Its a salty gourmande, not much of those are around i think. There is a lot of complexity and contradiction in this, and its working! Also, longevity and sillage are very good, just when you think its gone, its not. Especially on clothes it lasts forever. I love this scent, and it's full-bottle worthy in my opinion, I would even give the body mist a try. I think it's very complex, with its aquatic notes and sweet notes. I feel this scent is very comforting, and the vanilla is present but not too sweet. I find it just dusty enough for my taste. Love the dry down.

This is such a beautiful salty vanilla perfect for beach days, very diferent from everything that i have in my collection. Nobile 1942 si such an underrated house, i also own la danza delle libellule which i find to beg incredible.

Refreshing seaside gourmand with light floral cedar. Elegant vanilla sweetness with low projection. Unisex and reminiscent of Italian seaside cafés. Close to skin with lovely benzoin and white musk fade. Perfect morning fragrance.

Levante takes you into a summer walk at Coney Island. Not the rides and Nathan's hot dogs, but the beach. It's not a true marine scent but it is a perfect summer day with your friends, sandy and satisfied.

I was so curious as to what Nobile 1942 would do with vanilla, caramel, and marine notes that i had to try this out for myself, and I should have expected the answer. It's a very well-done accord that evokes walking by a candy shop in a seaside tourist town. That's actually a very nice evocation, and it's not obstreperous, so although I'm not usually a fan of gourmands (I often find them distracting), I liked this very much. The posters below who say the vanilla and caramel at the base appear immediately are completely right: it takes a few minutes before you get hit with the saltwater smells. This makes me think of seagulls and kites, and families playing by the sea. Maybe this is not the thing I would buy a full bottle of for myself, but if you like gourmands this is beautifully done and quite evocative.

On first try : I agree it’s in the same vein as couleur vanille but this one is so much better ! It just smells like a 3D couleur vanille, whereas the other one smells flat. A little less salty, a little more airy. More depth, caramel, less powdered sugar, no bergamot - a note i don’t always agree with, and that often smells a bit screechy to me. And yet, I sense a touch of leather ? Something a little grounding, or maybe it’s just the vanilla that reminds of Cuir beluga’s (that I’m actively searching a dupe for). A warm sea day and a cornet of churros. My first like from the house.

Nice, not spectacular for me but a solid nice. It reminds me of Vanilla Vibes, however this one is a little smoother. Not Tsuper-rex sweet, so it shouldn't be headache inducing - I do wish it to be a little sweeter but ohz well. The fragrance stretches out the aquatic to mix with a vanilla-caramel William Sonoma type aroma; it makes the perfect aquatic gourmand. Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, eat/drink and wear this fragrance, this is a Summer for everyone. RATED: SMELLZ GOOD

I like it, but I wish there was something more... I don't know, I enjoy it but it doesn't blow me away. It's so soft and does not project at all. After a few hours I'm ready to put something else on because it bores me. But then I sniff really close to my skin and I do find it enjoyable. Sigh. I do not know what to think.

I feel like i’m smelling a different perfume than everyone else. I cannot believe it’s a caramel vanilla scent, it’s so different from any others in my collection. I don’t think i’d ever guess those notes. Nonetheless, I still like it. I can’t see myself reaching for it when I want something sweet per se.

A nice fragrance that manages to be very likeable and somewhat mainstream while still having a touch of something unique. I feel like if you like the notes indicated you’ll probably like this. I think it’s a like but not a love for me, that said my nose does continue to go in for another sniff.

Smells exactly like Cotton Candy Bubble Yum, I was transported to the backseat of a car in 2002 stuffing too many pieces of gum into my mouth while my parents drove us home from the grocery store. Now that I made the connection I cannot smell anything else.

Ok, so I tried this when I just received it and it was just meh for me, I got the aquatic notes quite a lot and I wasn't really a fan of this one. But omg, I tried this one again and it's sooo beautiful!!! But...it doesn't last at all. Very sad.

This is banging, very suagry caramel sweet on Me with some gentle aquatic undertones. Perfect summer frag. I personally wouldn't say it smells like bleu turquoise at all. That one is a lot more woody and this on is a lot more sugar sweet

This smells like a lighter sweeter version of Couleur Vanille. Once I run out of that, I will get this as this. To me leans more feminine where CV is more unisex.

A creamier, sweeter, less airy version of CK Reveal, which is one of my all time favorites. I can wear this now that Reveal is sadly discontinued.

#837 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is a really mild vanilla caramel. Basically smells like my Premier Protein caramel liquid protein. Lightly floral and musky. Nothing for the men here. Pleasant, but otherwise nothing unique or attractive. If I smelled this on a woman I would be indifferent to it. Moderate performance if you really spray heavily. I'll give it to a female friend, but I doubt she'll ever wear it. I've given her much more interesting scents than this. But it might be a comforting scent for the linens.

I can’t decide if I like this one or not. I don’t dislike it and its a quality fragrance with good blending. But what is strange is that this is 50% oceanic and 50% caramel. I think this is the only fragrance I have ever set to be suitable in only the summer and winter categories. I think I’d like it better if the caramel was slightly toned down allowing for the rest of it to come out a bit more. As it is, almost veering to the gourmand category on me.

Wow, now that would have been a disappointment had I blind bought this. I've wanted to try Levante for a very long time. The brand aesthetic, the Italian origin, and the fragrance notes sounded exciting to me. I finally got my hands on a decant, and I'm not too fond of it :( It's a sweet aquatic, which leans more masculine on me. I do not pick up any florals. I can very well see it on a hot Italian guy somewhere on the Riviera, but on me, it's just too linear, a bit plasticky, and just not interesting enough. I don't smell any similarities to JHAG Vanilla Vibes, CK Reveal, or Olympea. On me, I much prefer Vanilla Vibes and Olympea.

It's okaaay. Almost an exact replica of Vanille Marine by Molinard, which I used to own, but Vanille Marine smelled better, more complex, and it didn't give me sinus pain from the synthetics used. Levante is very overpriced, as I bought Vanille Marine for like $30. Levante smells mainly of vanilla with a strong, fresh, sea spray note that I really like, combined with caramel as it dries down. But the bottom line is that it smells like a lotion from BBW. It lacks complexity and a higher level of craftsmanship that I would expect/hope for at this price point. Levante could pass for an Ariana Grande perfume at half the asking price.

I’m so disappointed by the smell. I expected it to be totally caramel/vanilla because of these other reviews but I was soso wrong! With my skin chemistry, it was just white floral (mostly jasmine) and like a grapefruit?? I’m very confused by the fact I smelled citrus since that isn’t one of the scents listed, frankly. It was kind of sour at first but slowly faded into a sweeter flowery-grapefruit, so confused and sad though since I really wanted to smell like ice cream at the beach, but alas, I’ve been screwed over once again. (Alas used ironically)

I wanted to like this, but it pulled super woody on my skin. Logically, that makes sense since the sole heart notes are cedar & patchouli. It seems like woody should be towards the top of the accord pyramid vs the dead last bottom. I wish I got more vanilla & caramel but unfortunately the cedar, patchouli, and marine notes nearly drown them out. It seems like on other people they get more gourmand, so I suggest trying before buying. If you like woody scents then this should be a safe blind buy.

Vanilla to the extent of synthetic with alcohol startup (intentionally not writing boozy, as it is not round but very harsh pure warm spirit bottle that was just opened directly under your nose - like). Caramel sets in in about an hour later or so, but nothing original and no sea notes for me.

You're a cube of caramel wrapped in plastic. You've been abandoned to live out your days inside an old beachside candy stand--rusted out and battered by the ocean's neverending waves. Levante by Nobile 1942.

Another big haul for me. I ordered something from F-Moda in Italy and figured if they’re gonna ship stuff in 3 days for me from Italy I might as well add a couple of good deals on. I added this and Ammate from Carthusia. Both are beautiful summertime scents, alternatives to typical summer scents. This one is an aquatic vanilla that has an unusual appeal to it. I sprayed my upper arm and kept getting whiffs of it as I moved around. Something in it reminded me of Nebras, not sure what because this doesn’t list cocoa or cacao but there’s a note that reads similar. Longevity and silage was good. Might be a good fragrance to layer with. I’m not sure I got the strong caramel notes others do, I’ll probably need more time with it before I can really determine how I feel about it.

interestingly, i got the vanilla/caramel/resin on first spray (which i really enjoyed!). that combo quickly gave way to the white florals and sea notes (which i enjoyed comparatively less). i wish the vanilla/caramel stage lasted longer (or even throughout) or came later. i was really hoping for a shorter seawater phase and a longer time for the gourmand notes to hang around. after all was said and done i only smelled slightly sweet, slightly floral seawater... and it wasn’t really my jam. edit: the good news is that the vanilla/gourmand notes come back. the bad news is it took 4 hours for this to happen. and the worst news is by this point it’s a skin scent. i had to bury my face in my skin to pick it up.

If you miss the beloved CK Reveal for women, look no further, this is similar.....but not identical! It may scratch the itch. Levante has a lot sweetness and some spice. Think Nishane Ani but sweeter. Levante is a delicious blend of sea salt & caramel ice cream cone...on the beach. This is a beautiful salty skin in the hot summer sun scent with some mild aquatic notes. This one is supposed to have some white floral which I don't detect too much. On my boyfriend it smells exactly like Ani. It does not on me. I also get salted watermelon in a sense but not really lol. It reminds me also of Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Salt. But I prefer this one.

I purchased a sample of this off of ScentSplit. This perfume is almost perfect for me. The aquatic notes here are the addictive, real smelling ones. This part, you feel like you smell actual water.. so good! The caramel notes are really good too. Not too sticky, or overwhelming. The caramel is salted so well, and blends well with the salt water notes. But then, the really acidic and overpowering patchouli notes take over. The patch stays and stays for hours. I do get some of all the notes for 10+ hours later, which is absolutely amazing! But man, if I could get my hands on this perfume sans the patchouli, I’d have a signature scent!

It smells exactly like a late august vacation by the ocean. Street vendors selling sweets and a warm wind coming from the ocean. Somewhat linear, but a curious scent nonetheless. I agree with a comment below, I think it suits summer (because it smells like summer) or winter (because you would smell like a memory of summer, a nostalgia bright enough to warm a cold room), but not the more ephemereal, changing weather of autumn or spring. Could still smell it after taking a shower. Good for layering.

A truly gender fluid fragrance! I prefer distinctly feminine fragrances, and I would wear this with pleasure. And yet, I would find it extremely appealing on a man. This is warm, heavy, complex fragrance that I would wear in winter. Patchouli and vanilla are easily distinguished; caramel joins in a bit later. I don't detect any musk, which is a positive thing for me. I'm at 6 hours of wear now, and it's still fragrant on my wrist.

This is pretty sweet, a lot more than I was expecting. It's an airy cotton-candy like sweetness though. A tad caramelly. It's very light and doesn't seem to last very long. I'm not sure I really get much salt or aquatic notes. The burnt sugar caramel note is actually reminding me of Pink Sugar to be honest.

It’s a sweet salted caramel fragrance with hints of a few white florals. The problem for me is the fragrance is a barely-there type & I’m not a sissy sprayer. I would prefer this to project way more than it does. Overall it’s a very pretty fragrance, as always from this line.

Loving. A lot like Squid but without the cloy that can make me feel kinda queasy on a hot day. Fresh air, a hint of seaside, warm vanilla resin. Loving this. I think it might replace Squid, which has filled this warm-but-cool space for me for a long time.

Very sweet, juicy and almost pulp like candy. There’s an aquatic vibe, like enjoying cotton candy, gumballs and juicy fruit smoothies next to a picturesque pier whilst being in love. The carnival lights are seen from afar.

This is like eating a decadent vanilla caramel dessert after your skin has been in the sun all day. Layered it with Alien Goddess Intense and it is perfection together.
