Kalahari Extrême

#1347 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I consider this very underrated. I put this more around 4.15, but not higher than that as there are many fragrances that lean into this myrrh and incense feel, so it's not particularly unique. Amouage "Epic Man", Stephane Humbert Lucas "Mortal Skin", Houbigant "Bois Mystique", Ormonde Jayne "Kashmir", Roja Dove "Risque Pour Homme" all work in the same way, make the same impression. Not usually a fan of anise, but it really adds something here. Hard for me to say which one of these scents I absolutely prefer, though the iris notes in the Kashmir and Mortal Skin kind of put them in the lead. Nevertheless, I'd happily wear this Noeme instead of any of those. It's a damn fine scent with solid performance and they all run close to $200 a bottle. Car pool, elevator, small office safe, but for me it's more date wear than business wear. Of course, get a decant from Scent Split or whomever, for this or any scent over $100.

A really beautiful scent, I would even say some kind of meditative. Why? I practically don't hear the top, as if it immediately opens with the heart, and the heart of the scent is just very calming: cedar, incense, resins, labdanum. All this is so viscous, soft, warm. The profile is very popular, you can try to look for something more interesting, but if you want a simple, safe, understandable scent, then you can safely take it

What a absolute beauty. Whats not to like? The fruity Pear & Orange 🍊 Opening is simply gorgeous 👌 This lasts for an hour plus but stays around. I get the Anise to.In the middle you get Virginian Cedarwood, Myrrh, Nutmeg, Pink Pepper & Cardamom. I find it to be smokey & Spicy.This part of the Journey is top notch walking around i get constant spicy woody wafts which are wonderful. Base Notes are Incense, Labdanum. The incense isn't dark & mysterious. But its there definitely. Personally i love this new release. Kalahari Extreme was a blind buy for me. Do i regret it? Definitely not. Kalahari Queen Extreme is a winner. Stronger than the original Kalahari??? Yes absolutely i prefer this to the original....Much more going on. 9 Hours i get. But i moisturise beforehand. 30 minutes before actually. Sillage? A Good arms length for the first two hours plus. Compliments? Yes quite a few people asked me what I'd spritzed....Do i recommend it. Absolutely yes. It isn't to sweet either. If you like incensey smokey woody & fruitee in the beginning. But not cloyingly so! Go4it.....The Pear & Orange are as if you have a bowl in front of you ladened with intricate slices of juicy succulent glistening 🍊 Orange & 🍐 Pear......A wonderful scent bubble and a wonderful journey 😊.......10 out of 10 in my humble
