Soma

The opening of this perfume belongs to the tonka bean. I do experience in here the complexity and all aspects of that marvelous ingredient - nuanced notes of cinnamon, bitter almond, dry, hay-like tobacco & black cherry. At this stage it is spicy, nutty, dry, slightly bitter, a bit fruity and the note of heliotrope adds a powdery touch to it. After a while the scent becomes sweeter and creamier due to the gourmand heart (vanilla, caramel & cacao). However, the sweetness in here is toned-down by the suede note at the base, which is very soft & smooth and applies a touch of sophistication to the fragrance. The rum gives it a boozy undertone and the labdanum - some depth and resinous warmth. The note of tonka bean extends throughout the life of the fragrance, beautifully blended with the other elements of the composition. Overall, Soma is a classy, complex, well-blended, high-quality borderline gourmand perfume. It is perfectly unisex, ideal for cold winter days... and nights.

Some people here have broken noses. It doesn’t smell anything like BR540 extrait lmao. There is no notes present that would warrrant that comment. What you do get is a very airy sexy angel share mix with oajan vibe with a hit of cherry. This scent is gorgeous and leaves a great silage behind.

Kaka...Honey Tobacco combination. 🚬🚬🚬

Well.. all the fragrances from this brand are super intense but still done nicely and not crossing the line to become unbearable. Soma is a powerful gourmand scent with a dark backbone: smoky woods and tobacco. I can also feel something very tart like a black tea. And something sweet (probably tonka beans that in this case smells like a mix of cherry stone and honey). My favorite from the brand is Kalahari btw 😅

How beautiful, languid. I imagine a dark room with lit candles, a burning fireplace. I feel all the notes that are described here in the pyramid + marzipan/cherry/almond. You expect a cloying gourmand, but in the end you get a very densely collected, moderately sweet, not irritatingly gourmand, wearable aroma. After a couple of hours on the skin remains a beautiful naturalistic vanilla

A heavily spicy, boozy, chocolatey gourmand. When you anchor these types of scents with labdanum, incense, tobacco, resins and serious woods, it works well. Same thing here, a well-grounded gourmand. As for the spice part, even though it's not listed, I'm getting cinnamon alongside a dry tobacco-like feel. Quite noticeably so. Tonka's milky softness is there too. While it's lovable and nice overall, it loses me on the uniqueness front. I feel like I've smelled similar things many times over. Tag(s): cinnamon, spicy, boozy, sweet, gourmand

This stuff is awful, I really dont like it. It smells exactly like cherry flavored chloraseptic throat spray. I smell the tonka and a cherry scent but i do not get caramel or other gourmands. The safron makes it long lasting and projecting but im sitting here like when is my appointment for the operation or root canal? Its medicinal synthetic and was bothering my dog so I instantly took a shower. 😡

The Suede accord in here if terribly off putting. Like others have suggested you need to try this before you buy. The pyramid is very misleading. In no shape or form this should be named as a gourmand. It’s not. It’s medicinal.

This is not a safe blind buy in my opinion so don't be me. Also, you must test this on your skin. I tested it at Scentxplore on paper and fell in love with it. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I finally bought a bottle. It smells almost exactly like Mandorle. On my skin, Soma is suede heavy with sweetness and booziness in the base. There is a bit of that Chloraseptic smell to it but it is not dominate. But, I think if you like Mandorle then you would like this. I did notice after being slightly disappointed with it on my skin that the perfumer for Soma was one of the perfumers on Mandorle.

Another solid offering from Noème. Soma has a nice spicy, herbal presence. Unisex and it gives me a bit of a Baccarat Rouge vibe from there saffron and amber, but Soma is a softer, more refined fragrance. BTW I don’t think the notes listed are correct. Here is what was sent with the perfume. Top notes: Wormwood, Saffron, Zaatar Blend, Red Fruits; Heart notes: Jasmine Sambac, Resins, Brioche, Honey; Base notes: Cereals, Amber, Benzoin, Leather.

A makeout session composed of cherry Carmex, vanilla lip balm, unopened box of chocolates, a couple of drinks and a suede jacket used as a support pillow. It does remind me of Mandorle. This has more cherry throughout and Mandorle has an almond dry down and I prefer it.
