Oahu Gardenia

Oahu Gardenia by Nomaterra is white floral Gardenia simplicity. I would describe the smell as pure and alluring. This is not an incredibly complex scent; it is a simpler scent with quality, very discernible notes. I don't feel like anything falls away or is undetectable when I wear it. It is slightly warm & woody as a result of the addition of sandalwood in this fragrance. Jasmine and Frangipani accompany the Gardenia perfectly without overpowering it. It is definitely aptly named; this scent is reminiscent of a hawaiian vacation. The rich, sweet, florals are exotic and completely wearable. This is my favorite summertime floral fragrance, and it is perfect for daytime or evening wear. The roll-on oil formula lasts very well on the skin. As the fragrance oil warms and melts onto my skin, the floral and woody sweetness fills the room. It is very fragrant and has fantastic sillage without being too intense. This is a very distinctive Gardenia scent that I will continue to repurchase.

I really like the Oahu roll-on. It's a simpler fragrance compared to the other Nomaterra scents I've tried, but I really like how the strong gardenia scent isn't lost in its other components. The roll-on itself is really great with how small it is. Super easy for me to add on an extra dab of oil while out and about. Already convinced my friend to give it a try and she loved it as well!

I bought the fragrance wipes while in line at Sephora. The concept is great for travel or anytime you need a pick me up. However, at first wipe it smelled like rubbing alcohol. I wish I stopped after the first wipe because the dry down was a powdery, soapy scent, which was not what I wanted. I wanted a fresh gardenia scent straight from the garden.
