I got a sample of this after purchasing Shi-so. Call me crazy, but the lemongrass, Violet & papyrus form this almost boozy accord, but not in a western sense. The bergamot off the top is zingy but not overly so. It’s when I picked out the cedar is when this clicked: Minted is almost note-for-note a recreation of a saké bar! From the wooden booths, to the boxes they serve your sake in, to the slight umami tinge of the liquor. As far as scent can be a form of olfactory travel, this accomplishes that perfectly. Now I want sushi.

I do love the freshness and crispness of this scent. It's like a deep breath at a spa. I think it has a wintergreen gum, zesty mint and clean lemony freshness. I also get the hint of cedar as it begins to dry down. This reminds me of the feeling after you take a shower and brush your teeth. Fresh, but comforting.

i got a sample vial of this from my mom - at first i really wasn't sure that i would like this fragrance, but it's just so interesting! it's zesty, it's minty and it's elegantly floral with the prominent jasmine notes. wearing it makes me feel refreshed, i totally agree with the person who said it reminds them of the feeling after you take a shower and brush your teeth!
