My most unique and favourite fragrance. I've had this for close to a year now. It's a wonderful, gorgeous, complex fragrance I stumbled upon by coincidence in Korea. Mugwort was a flavour I fell in love with there and is one I cannot find easily at home. So to find a fragrance with mugwort as one of the stars was a godsend. It's hard to describe - the ingredients blend over different sensations. Overall it's warm, peppery, a bit woody and a bit mossy. The tuberose and eucalyptus give the warmth an interesting dimension I haven't experienced before. The pepper and eucalyptus combined remind me slightly of the smell of concrete. The mugwort and wood gives it a touch of nature. The drydown loses the clear mugwort smell but keeps a warm, spicy woody vanilla to my nose. It's quite a beautiful transformation and there's many facets so I'm curious what notes stand out when sprayed on different people. If I were to describe the scent as a feeling it would be a comforting, warm embrace after a long winter day. It gives me the confidence of a steadfast flame. Odarama cities was created in collaboration with South Korean artist Koo Jeong A and represented Korea in the Venice Biennale Art as a culmination of peoples scent memory of Korea into one cohesive idea. Honestly, I was blown away by the scent itself before hearing about this and the idea only cemented my love for this fragrance. The composition captures so many aspects of Korea to me - the bustling streets, tradition, the surrounding nature. It makes me very happy. As bright as this fragrance shines for me its uniqueness might deter people, but it's undeniably a beautifully crafted fragrance and I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself.

Love this fragrance. I wanted a Korea-exclusive fragrance on my trip so this was perfect. It's hard to pinpoint the notes since the blending is well done. If I had to say, the strongest notes if I had to pick them out would be tuberose, sandalwood, and incense. When I first smelled it, it gave a tea nuance so I was surprised when it wasn't one of the listed notes. This is a very deep and comforting fragrance which was cool since it's different from nonfictions typical softer skin scents. The only other richer fragrance was The Grey which was a bit too smoky for me. Projection is moderate for about 3 hours before settling into a skin scent. Total longevity is actually pretty good with about 8-9 hours. It actually survives the shower on my skin. Honestly, I like that it isn't a projection monster. It fits the vibe well as a more mysterious and deep fragrance that's not trying to be in the spotlight. On the site they use imagery of a dark forest with a cloud of fog and I think that description fits well. I also love the simplistic and clean bottle design. Kinda disappointed this one didn't come with the magnetic cap found with their flower line, but the juice smells great and that's all that really matters. This is a unique fragrance as I've never smelled anything like it. Happy to have picked it up and have it tied to my first trip to Korea!
