The Beige

This smells like a tin on mints that's been empty for a while. It's not an old tin, it's recent. There's a bit of powder left from the mints. The opening is green geranium taking the foreground, but softly. There's an abstract rose, a shadow of a green rose far behind, adding depth. Then there's a musky-floral heart and a powdery musky dry base. The iris is dry and abstract - a bit like a very unsweet and restrained candied iris. There is also a certain waxiness in the heart - which oddly enough, reminds me of vintage YSL Kouros - there is also a shared (faint) soapiness. Make no mistake, there is no funk here - this is a clean and polished perfume. But the high quality musk is what they share. Unlike The Grey, this perfume does not have weight nor creaminess. The Beige feels both airy and compact. The concrete note probably maps to this compactness, and the faint dusty sweetness present throughout. In terms of the Orpheon comparison, the opening of The Beige makes me think a bit of how Orpheon EDT opens. There's not so much in common between Orpheon EDP and The Beige. The Beige is 10 times less sweet, and has nothing like that rich juniper opening. I think where they rightly draw comparisons is in their presence and aura. OCCASION: This is a very versatile perfume. GENDER: Definitely unisex, but I suspect the gents will find this one very easy to wear. PROJECTION & LONGEVITY: starts slow, blooms after 30 min. Lasts 3-4h then goes skin scent. Mostly gone after about 7-8 hours. Not as persistent as The Grey. 9/10, because The Grey is a 10/10 But a beautiful, highly quality composition that stands out and is well worth smelling and even owning.

Creamy musky floral perfection. Insanely addictive.

This does not smell like Orpheon, Fleur de peau or Another 13.. idk what you guys are on about lmao and this is definitely not like The Grey lol. This is kind of similar to FM Dan Tes Bras created by Maurice Roucel, same perfumer

Leans masculine - a bit metallic with an aquatic touch. Clean and a bit soapy - reminds me of aftershave. A dislike on myself but I wouldn't mind this on a man.
