Nooka

When I purchased this for the moderate sum of $20 I did not have high expectations. Most times I bought inexpensive cologne based on reviews not posted here but on other sites I got burnt. Not in this case. Reviews and ratings were spot on. Longevity lasted on me around 10 hours and projected well for at least 6 to 7 hours. I was quite taken by how nice the notes worked with my body chemistry. Since I own many aquatics this is a nice green based curveball to my lineup. Interestingly, this $20 Nooka outlasted several green based sample decants of much higher cost. As one reviewer previously mentioned, you will smell unique in a niche quality way.

Impulsive blind buy on eBay.......$20. This opens with a yuzu-ish/citrus/light leathery vibe. Then...a subdued tonka/cypress/coriandre/pink pepper. Musk is present thruout. I somehow get a violet leaf type vibe,tho that note is not listed. The dry down is really nice. The leather emerges in this phase more. However...sillage/longevity/performance is .....mild....SADLY ! Bottom line....it smells great.... A springy/summerish scent....an everyday simple but still very interesting scent.

Nooka is a rare little gem which I came across online not too long ago. Known for futuristic watches and shades, Nooka made only 10,000 bottles of this brew so yea I feel special...hahaha just kidding but damn it feels good knowing a small fraction of the US population smells like I do when I wear this. Lets move on to the smell! If I were a techno dancer I would wear this to death. The first spray is strong with a clean yet synthetic fruit (yuzu...what is that?) served on a leather plate. It screams urban lifestyle to a certain degree yet it cools down on the dry down, which sort of reminded me of Armani Mania...on steroids. After a few hours it fades out but I cheat and spray a little on my collar so it can last a few hours more. Its complicated to say when is the best time to wear this but the techno crowds live for the night! The big drawback on Nooka is that I occasionally do get a slight headache after the initial spray. But if you truly want to stand out in a crowd I do recommend Nooka if you can find it. Hopefully they have a new fragrance on the works...we shall see. 8 out of 10

I blind bought this (not much choice nowadays with it being a 2009 fragrance with only 10,000 bottles produced!) and was not disappointed. It is quite a masculine fragrance in my opinion though, I would not call it unisex. Very fresh, but also layered and slightly mysterious. Reminds me of a guy who is a bit haughty but also easy to approach. That said, I have about 60 .17 oz sample bottles of this if anyone is interested in purchasing/sampling. I’d even be happy to give one out for free if you cover the cost of shipping. I won’t wear it frequently enough to get through all of them.

As others have said, this was an impulsive blind buy off of ebay. The history I found online intrigued me, as did the notes. It’s okay. Pleasant enough. It’ll probably grow on me over time, and is probably more of a spring scent than a late autumn one. I may be biased since I’m not particularly partial to green fragrances. It’s fun to wear this and know it’s “rare”. Like a (incredibly niche) piece of history

Bought this because I used to wear the watches and belt and it was a great deal. I little more mature summer scent. Departure from my citrusy frags. I get green notes and pepper with some freshness. Not super complex or anything but a good reach
