Bosque Místico

I made an account just to leave a review for this perfume. I'm new to perfume and have been on the hunt for my "signature scent". I've sampled probably over 100 fragrances both in store and ordering online, most of which I've been disappointed by as they are hyped up online and popular. Most of them just end up smelling like generic perfume to me. I ordered the sample set from Nopalera on a whim, as I looked into Latinx owned brands. At first sniff it didn't make too much of an impression, but as I tried other samples from other brands, I kept coming back to Bosque Mistico to compare if I liked the others more than it. So far, I haven't- so I just ordered the full size! Maybe it is because I am Latina (but grew up in the states), but there is something about bosque mistico that is nostalgic and comforting to me. I'm on the porch on a beautiful spring day with my Abuela, with a glass of jamaica and spring flowers blooming around. Snacking on pepinos con chile y limon. We light the chimenea after the sun sets. This company really deserves more recognition- this fragrance is endearing and unique. I also enjoyed Dulce de Cuerpo as well (maybe I will get it for the fall). I do find that it lasts all day for me, but the projection dulls- as to be expected.

I get a hint of a well-refined coconut scent on first application that evolves over time from bold and forward to subtle and intimate. I LOVE coconut, but it has to be done correctly, otherwise it can easily become sunscreen-adjacent and this scent succeeds 100%. I equally want to wear it, eat it, bathe in it, or infuse every aroma-product in my house with it and put it on max. The fragrance softens quite a bit, leaning more towards a feminine profile to my nose. I'm a male, and I'll happily wear this, but I'm unsure about the majority of men and what they'd think about wearing it. I think it's more feminine, but with a bohemian twist. As it dries down, it becomes powdery and creamy. Projection is great on first application, softening from there. B.M. settles as subtle, refined, and confident. I would highly recommend this to a friend who doesn't like to hit people in the face on arrival, but still impress them. It's a great, versatile, spring and summer scent that starts off casual and approachable, and ends close to the skin and intimate. The bottle design is modern and niche. -- Only side note: for whatever reason, and maybe it's just me, it's hard to remember this product's name. Maybe that's fitting though, given the name... --

The other reviews seem to be pretty hard on this little guy, so I thought I should add my two sense! I actually really enjoy this scent! It feels very light and gentle, true, but I've found it lasts at least 5+ hours on my skin. Plus, there is a matching body cream if you'd like to amplify the projection. I love a small perfume brand, and Nopalera is doing a great job with this one! Plus the 1.7 oz bottle is only like $90, which, in this world of overinflated perfume prices, I LOVE.

Similarly to others, I was expecting something a lot more green and herbaceous with a name like Bosque Místico- but what I got was a citrusy, tropical skin scent with a lovely musky drydown and a hint of sandalwood. It's super soft, not an in-your-face tropical scent, but rather like if you took Glossier you and replaced the iris with honeysuckle and hibiscus. Only complaint is the longevity- I got 2 hrs at best, but I wish it lasted just a bit longer:(

This is a beautiful scent, but unfortunately it just doesn’t last. I’m pretty sensitive to scents and rarely need more than 2 sprays of anything. I did 5 and the only thing detectable was on my shirt. It was gone on the skin within the hour.

The notes are missing the base note: cashmere woods.

Can't agree that citrus is the main accord for me. Bosque mistico is a creamy orris scent that is made interesting by the slight aromatic pepper note. I do think the florals here add a tropical flare to the scent, but it’s really not this super potent sunny fragrance. As others have alluded to it, the fragrance is poor performing. I have oversprayed this every time I’ve worn it so it does last about five hours on skin, but there isn’t any projection; you would have to sniff yourself to find the scent. There is something I guess, enchanting and mystic about the fragrance, but I wouldn’t buy a full size because I like good sillage and projection. It is really lovely and unique for something so affordable. Unisex and can be worn year round.

This is easily my go-to fragrance for days that are hot, sticky and humid. I wear this when I want to smell fresh and airy. I’m not typically attracted to fragrances in this scent profile, so it’s hard for me to describe what makes me so attracted to it. I completely disagree with the bug spray comments - this scent is what I would envision an LA type “clean girl” would wear to do a light hike to get to their sunrise yoga on a cliffside (I mean this in the best way possible). I wouldn’t reach for this during the colder months unless I know I am going to be indoors in a tight, crowded space where I wouldn’t want to disturb or offend anyone with my fragrance. Really glad I found this perfume!

I've seen a lot of negative reviews for Bosque Mistico, but I love this fragrance. At first, it's crisp, tropical, and floral, but quickly dries down slightly warmer from the cashmere and orris, while still keeping the tropical notes. It's not listed in the notes, but I definitely get coconut from it. The comparisons to bug spray aren't necessarily unfair but it's certainly more refined and less pungent than bug spray. For me, this is the perfect spring-to-summer scent. I think lovers of Glossier's You who are looking for something more summery would love this.

Uggg So frustrating! This is a terrific scent but doesn't last or project. honeysuckle is not overwhelming (thank gosh) and i dont get much pepper but it is floral, smooth, and has a tinge of green to it. Pretty, reminds me of paisley print, skipping work on weekday mornings in the summer and head bandanas.

I have 2 perfumes from this house and I really enjoy them both. On me this pulls a delightful honeysuckle scent that is fresh and sweet. It smells like a pretty spring day, and it’s perfect daytime scent. Certainly office and gym safe . Good value.

Very clean and very fruity. I don't get any pepper from this, but I do get a heck of a lot of orris. Don't buy if you're looking for ripped-from-the-bush honeysuckle, do buy if you want to smell like a very nice spa in Mexico.

This one is very green with notes of citrus in the open, then dries down with a sweet almost almondy honey scent. It is perfect for the warmer weather, doesn't last very long on my skin, but a very nice smell.

Pretty, safe easy buy. I do like this and think it is the best from this brand. But I do wish it wasn't such a skin scent and projected more. I do not get a lot of honeysuckle, powdery drydown.

An incredibly summery, tropical, floral scent. Similar to Vacation by Vacation (Arquiste). I don't get any pepper or woods. Projection is minimal, lasting power is 3-4 hours.

such a pretty perfume! so fresh & floral, soapy and powdery. i think this one is a safe blind buy and would be a great gift!

This smells like sunscreen. A summer scent. Funny, because the only other fragrance I've tried from this house (Flor de Madera) also smelled like sunscreen to me. If I wanted to smell like sunscreen, I'd put on sunscreen.

This is surprisingly tropical with a sweet fruitiness and hint of powderiness. I don't get the pepper or cashmere woods notes at all. Since the name means enchanted forest, I expected some greenness but there is none. This really smells like my Suave Coconut Kiss deodorant and a Hawaiian air freshener. Not the vibe I wanted, but I can see this being nice for summer if you're into tropical scents. Longevity is terrible though. I can't smell it after 10 mins, even when sprayed on clothes (I asked my family to smell me and they confirmed).

This smells too similar to a Hawaiian air freshener your grandma keeps in her spare bathroom. :(

Smells like a luxurious tropical resort lobby. It’s floral, but not only. It has a freshness to it, almost something dewy or watery, tiny bit green like the way a water drop on a hibiscus flower in the tropical jungle would smell. Very interesting scent. It is soft tho, doesn’t project that much and is more feminine imo but that could also be because of my skin chemistry.

I didn't expect it to smell this way. I had to double check I was in fact smelling the correct fragrance. It's not for me, I'm getting a ton of cheap coconut car air freshener mixed with old pineapple juice.

Ughh its so good! If you have Ambre Vanille by Laura Mercier or Yara, this is repetitive. Its definitely beautiful but very similar to that perfume family.

Pleasant little citrus floral. Not groundbreaking. Nothing is sharp or heady. Not bad
