Norell Blushing

I get much more performance from this beautiful floral than many other reviewers. I don’t necessarily get the citrus fruits. For me this is a lovely Rose/Sandalwood fragrance. It opens a bit loud but quickly settles into a warm comfortable floral with just the right amount of wood warmth. I love this one as a “go to” daytime every occasion type scent but could equally see this as a classy event, social calendar type scent. I’m not normally a big floral scent type (I love Spicey orientals, Ambers and Chypre) but this one is truly special. Is it a safe blind buy? If you like orange blossom, sandalwood and roses absolutely. And don’t get me started on the presentation. The box is pink satin lined. The bottle gorgeous with rhinestone encrusted top. This is a bottle worthy of display. Price was fair for a discontinued fragrance of this quality. I gave about $56 USD

This is the first leathery scent I've tried, and actually I had never heard of this brand before. I didn't think I'd go for leather, but I actually rather like it! It smells like leather and fancy bars of soap. It's very long lasting on me (well over 12 hours), and I also like that it's not so widely known, so not everyone and her mother is buying this. A solid like for me.

This was a blind buy because I wanted the gorgeous bottle. The bottle is indeed gorgeous, and the presentation packaging impressive. But the juice is just OK. There's a note to the opening that I don't like, but I don't know enough about notes to know what it is. It reminds me of something I smelled a long time ago and didn't like -- Calvin Klein Eternity, maybe? I like the fragrance more after it has settled for a couple of hours. But then it disappears. I am happy with my purchase because I do love the beautiful bottle, but I doubt I'll ever actually wear the perfume. (The vintage Norell was one of my favorite fragrances.)

Blushing is a beautiful fragrance. The floral/fruit balance is perfect and the birch gives a refined and fresh, woody note. It's elegant and long lasting with a smaller sillage. It doesn't scream its presence. Blushing might be my favorite scent I purchased this year.

Warm and romantic. Not too rosey. Packaging and bottle is all as lovely and elegant as the juice. I feel like a classy lady with a tight high waisted white pencil skirt and a blush colored chiffon camisole, pointy elegant tan heels. Simple and classy and gorgeous

Beautiful bottle, promissing combination. Pear and birch with a hint of rose- hmmm... Can t be wrong. Still remember the beautiful face of Faye Dunaway, back in the 80s with this brand! Let's see!

Just received in the mail today, and preliminarily, I have to say that this smells like a very high end, generic soap. I will update as I continue wearing.
