Tansu Silk

I’m sampling this today and I like it. It does remind me of Pierre Guillame Indochine although I think Indochine is stronger. I will be interested to find out about sillage and longevity which are important to me. Update - this is lovely but sillage and longevity are very weak on me and for that reason I won’t be buying a full size. If it was about 5 times stronger I would. Update - I bought it. I just couldn’t get it out of my head. It’s so soft and fruity with apricot, the name silk describes it very well. It’s also beautifully blended.

I'm going through my discovery kit from this brand again and now I need to buy this one too. It's probably the most realistic apricot scent I have ever smelled. This and the sandalwood, osmanthus makes it comforting and long lasting, strong, while staying a soft scent. It still remains a fruity scent to me, but done in a very nice way (not overly sweet nor synthetic) I think it's an all-season one, all occasions. I also think that's crowd pleaser, how could you dislike such a scent.

Smell of sunset meditation, smell of melted apricots and herbal mixture, the smell - antidepressant, smell of a darkened room which is sun-heated despite the closed wood shutters, smell of a pine forest and osmanthus. Smell promising a calm and tender evening. Technical characteristics - very persistent, quite diffusive. Sweet. Will be an amazing choice for autumn and winter. I definitely recommend at least trying it - it is very interesting and cozy. Love from the first breath.

Tansu silk is extremely pleasant osmanthus perfume. Typical apricot with leather nuances the osmanthus flower is known for. Soft sandalwood, hinoki wood musks in the base. I'm not picking up a strong camphor note thank goodness. Just a soft velvety greenery supporting the osmanthus dominant floral here. Very well done. If you are looking for an extremely beautiful osmanthus soliflore this is something you should check out. Tansu Silk has the texture of apricot colored silk. I can see in my minds eye this soft apricot with an elaborate Japanese design ready to be made into a beautiful kimono. I plan on wearing this sample tomorrow. I think it is such a pleasant fragrance.

For me its an apricot jam mixed with a soothing oily milky sandalwood with hint of orris buttery powdery accord. Ideal summer scent for a relaxed sunset watching meditative mood with a cup of osmanthus milk tea UPD: I swear Ive described my own impressions not even looking at what other people have written below prior :)

Tansu smells like a new cello crafted in a famous shop on Italian South. I would give it a ritual task life that requires calm mind and exceptional skill. Beautiful fragrance from a killer team. Congratulations on the launch!

This is the only one of the house’s current offerings that I don’t dislike. Tansu Silk is ... ok. I would not buy a bottle but it is more palatable than the others. 7/10 and a Fragrantica score of 4.0 from me
