Cassis & Pink Pepper

I love this one, every time I remember I have it and try it out again I get addicted and can't get enough. Such a unique and strong smell, I wear this one when I wanna stand out. The last review describes it as a fresh spicy rather than warm and that feels like the perfect way to describe it. It feels energetic and uplifting, kind of like the first sunny day after a week of rain in the springtime where you just want to spend all day outside.

Beautifully refreshing unisex fragrance! It's a citrus-woodsy scent, but not generic or boring whatsoever. Lasts longer on fabric than on skin, but it's a great value for the price. It's pretty linear and stays the same after the drydown, which is a huge plus for me. Would recommend this one as something to spray on the go when you want to feel fresh and cool. Overall for me: 9/10.

I'm gonna start by saying the value for money is great with this. What it lacks in longevity is made up by being able to shamelessly reapply and get more. A nice spring/summer scent, not super complex, but fresh. The pink pepper is absolutely a prominent note, but this isn't a "warm spicy" scent, it's fresh spicy, a bit of citrus, green, and a white floral. The florals wrap themselves around the centerfold fresh spice, and as far as individual notes, I think gardenia describes it the best. It smells a little aged/synthetic, but it's brightened up by a backseat fruity sweetness. Unfortunately the citrus is the same, a bit synthetic, like a hotel shampoo bergamot. Once the top notes wear off it turns into "generic fresh floral woman's fragrance", but it's also really inoffensive, and has a nice sweet fresh kick. For the money I honestly can't complain.

In my opinion, this was awful. It was a blind buy as there were no in-store samples to try it out. The reason I bought it was for the cassis, which turned out to be a note I could NOT detect. All I can describe it as is 100% mosquito spray. Awful. Returned it (a first for me - I have always kept all my frags, even the ones I'm not crazy about). I think it's the pink pepper note that I hate, so if anything at least it was educational - I know what to stay away from in the future! Sadly, this was the worst perfume I have literally ever smelled.

I didn't like it at all! Low-cost perfume paid just over €8 on an online perfumery but I expected much more. Let me start by saying that the aquolina perfumed waters are excellent, well structured almost as if they were real perfumes, I was expecting something more from these eau de toilette, but instead they are very evanescent and not very structured from my point of view! At the opening there is a very fresh fruity scent, but immediately afterwards it changes and has an I don't know what is annoying, difficult to understand perhaps the not-so-fresh flowers which when combined with such a fresh opening clash a little.... I can only say so as not to smell it on me anymore because it bothered me a lot, I sprayed myself with some mango scented water that I had in my bag, and I slightly saved the situation by taking the perfume back onto a fresher, fruitier path! To make a long story short I didn't like it at all, fortunately I paid very little for it, the ceramic packaging is nice and the idea of the box with an elastic band in the shape of a notebook is nice, but the contents for me are absolutely not worth it

Yesss.....the pink pepper in this is beautiful. I bought it for £5!! Longevity is medium. Projection/sillage is 2 metres. Great bargain. If alll notebook perfumes have this quality, I may look into their other fragrances. 😀
