Alright, I caved and I got a discovery set and wow. This is the second one I tried and I immediately knew it would be borderline impossible to beat. At first spray it was mostly that clean and fresh mandarin coming through. As it dried down a little the basil started to push its way through, and at final dry down, the sandalwood comes fashionably late to play with the other notes, bringing a bold yet not overbearing punch to it. The mandarin and basil still comes through but the sandalwood really becomes the star of the show at the end, but again, not in an overwhelming way. Sandalwood is easy to mess up in a fragrance, and I am particularly picky about it, so I wasn’t sure just by looking at the notes that I would like it a lot. But I really do love this. When you spray it and let it dry, it feels like a nostalgic, truly lazy summer day. It’s like those summer afternoons where you’re lazing about on the couch with the lights off and the fan blasting debating whether or not to get up and grab a snack or just continue laying there. This fragrance screams hot whether in the best way possible. This is definitely something you would wear to a casual summer evening outing with the girls or even a more intimate dinner and a beach walk with your significant other. The scent lasts a moderate amount of time and only needs a couple of spritzes to come through. This is the perfect unisex scent for someone who likes a clean citrusy scent. I’m really impressed with this!

So I broke down and took the noteworthy quiz, and they sent me my 4 fragrances. The first one I tried was 307 and that was IT. The other scents smelled amazing but 307 was totally me. Looking at the notes later, I was very surprised. I NEVER would have selected 307. I put the sample all over me and kept smelling my wrists all day! It’s a very joyful and clean fragrance that dries down to a warm, smooth but fresh scent. It is delightful and improved my mood. What I liked best, is that 307 is completely outside of my personal fragrance profile. Every now and then we get pleasantly surprised by trying something new and this is IT for me.

Zesty Citrus, Milky Woods, Fresh Green Herbs This smells like you took sunshine and smiles, reduced it to liquid, and bottled it. It reminds me of drinking freshly squeezed orange juice on a pier while holding a bouquet of newly cut wheatgrass as a morning sea breeze tussles your hair and the sun warms your skin. It is effervescent, charming, clean, and youthful. It makes me feel cheery, refreshed, and playful. It is flirty with a girlish charm and boyish spunk, yet mature. Sillage is pretty moderate and stay power is as well for me (about 6 hours). Good clean freshie!

To me, n,307 Noteworthy is close to Clementine California by Atelier Cologne. It is a simpler, sweeter version of CC. It opens up like the citrus smell you get when you first peel an orange. The dry down then resembles more of candy like Sweethearts where to CC is more complex with the sandalwood. It doesn't last as long but I am still testing it. This is a great alternative for CC since it is hard to get it in the US and a bottle of n,307 Noteworthy is great to grab for an everyday scent since I am trying to nurse my last bottle of CC.

This is one of my go too's in the spring/summer months and is great for layering. This fragrance is very unique and garners compliments. Longevity is alright with a good 5 hours wear when alone but when layered I can get a full days wear. The basil note in this in not prominent but adds to the fragrance creating great nuances that I have not found in any other fragrance. For me, this is a 10/10

Lovely orange topnotes and a bit of fresh cut grass as it mellows out. I wish I caught the basil more because fresh basil is one of my favorite smells--I can never stop smelling my fingers after I pick it! This is a juicy, fresh, bright, perfectly unisex scent that unfortunately (as with so many citrus fragrances) has terrible longevity. It fades in one to two hours every time I use it, sadly.

I ordered several noteworthy samples and this is one of 2 that I loved (the other being 415). It’s a beautiful juicy, citrusy scent. Unfortunately, as I’m finding with all noteworthy scents, it doesn’t last long.

I love the smell on me but it fades so fast...

The type of fragrance that you spritz on just to put a smile on your face! Juicy, zesty, and slightly sweet tangerine & mandarin oranges squeezed over smooth and creamy sandalwood with slight green touches. Easily my favorite from the 4 noteworthy scents that I’ve tried, and probably one of the easiest to understand and wear fragrances I’ve ever smelled, and I’ve smelled close to 1k at this point (rookie numbers in all reality ik). Regardless, this is ultra versatile and super super uplifting, but I do have one complaint: the price to performance to uniqueness ratio. I have NEVER in any of my reviews ever bashed a fragrance for poor performance in relation to the price, because most of, if not all the time, they’re unique and warrant trying and judging a purchase based off the scent. However, this is very similar to “Tangerine Boy” by PHLUR to my nose, and TB is half the price. Obviously, buy what YOU think is worth it, but if I were to buy something in this moderate to weak performing sweet citrus/mood booster genre, I’ll buy the one that’s $80 instead of $150. I'M still partial to Aqua Allegoria Mandarin Basilic but this is giving AA a run for it's money. AAMB has quite a bit of complexity and takes you on a scent journey when you wear it, while this is straightforward and what you spray is what you get. It's a delightful freshie but since it's the same price as Guerlain, I'd probably go with Guerlain when the time is right for me to add another citrus freshy to my collection. The positive thing about this company is that you can get a set of travel sprays which is what I might do next with them. I don't like that they only offer 100mL bottles or travel sprays because there are one's I like, but I don't want a 100mL FB. This is one I'd like in a 30 or 50 mL in. I really love the added sandalwood to this scent as it gives it a nice, smooth woody dry down. Perfectly unisex and a great alternative to those that love aromatic clean scents or Jo Malone type scents.

A mimosa with freshly squeezed, slightly underripe, orange juice. It's glowing, sweet, soft, a bit green and sparkles with a boozy brightness. It's very yummy and makes me want brunch. I'm not really an orange fragrance fan but if there ever was one to change my mind it would be 307. Very subtle on the skin I can imagine you'd need a couple sprays to last you through the day. I don't distinctly get basil or cypress but there is a lush, wet green note that I love. The pepper isn't harsh or overpowering at all. In fact I hardly get any, which I'm grateful for in a fragrance like this. A bit expensive for what it is but theres a someone for everything I suppose!

This is the only noteworthy scent I liked of the ones I tried, but I really, really like this one. I don’t get much basil or sandalwood, really just a very realistic juicy mandarin orange. It performs surprisingly well with 8+ hours longevity and decent sillage. There is a bit of clean laundry in the dry down but the mandarin smell remains the star.

My favorite from this brand. Smells like a juicy, somewhat grown up Victoria’s Secret Body spray on me and lasts only slightly longer. To spray it on clothes is to coax a little more length out of it but not much. Great scent though! Lots of compliments and fun to wear :)

Smells similar to Tangerine Boy by Phlur, though slightly sweeter and lotion like scent compare phlur’s sticky, sweaty, synthetic and almost wannabe powdery TB

Addicting to smell. Basil and oranges. Feels sophisticated and rich. Doesn't last super long but lasts longer than 144 by a longshot!

Green, but citrus. Incredibly fresh, that basil. Not at all abrasive. The mandarin and clementine dominate. Loving the white pepper here, what a sparkle. A well-composed, tart but fresh, simple and straightforward warm citrus. I wanted to love this. Unfortunately, my sensitive head doesn't like something in this, and it's very cloying on my skin. It also reminds me of flushable wipes — and now I can't un-smell it.

I’m glad I only bought the small bottle on Amazon. The scent is overall fresh, leans feminine. The opening is somewhat similar to Clinique’s Happy and also has an aquatic note reminiscent of Kenzo’s L’Eau par Kenzo. However, the longevity is poor. I sprayed 4 pumps on my both wrists and within two hours, I had to sniff really close to my skin to catch any scent. It’s not worth the price.

I thought I was going to love this perfume. The opening is marvelous, bright citrus all over, pure happiness. But quickly than I expected the fragrance lost power, it was barely there but not only that, it started to smell (to my nose) like a mix of dish soap with (a faint) jolly rancher. Thankfully the dry down is a bit better, still barely perceptible.

This sample was very interesting. Very citrus forward for my nose but it does soften down as it dried. The basil gives it such a unique flair. I don’t think this would be full bottle worthy for me but it’s a nice summer scent!

Basic. Reminds me of a citrus room spray I have

I received a sample of this scent in the Noteworthy starter set as a gift. Unfortunately I'm allergic to orange and their scent quiz doesn't provide an option to exclude allergens. That said, I did spray it on paper and it's an ok scent if you like smelling like orange juice. It's a shame because I LOVE all the other notes listed basil, pepper, sandalwood. I imagine on a dry down those may come forward? But I'll never know. If you're a fresh & clean scent person who likes orange this one might be for you.

The opening is a green citrus smell, a soft fragrance. Reminded me very much of pinesol/bug spray/ a citronella candle but softer. It was very weak and barely lasted a few hours ob my skin, just a very faint scent remained if I pressed my nose to my skin. This was not a pleasant scent to me.

The basil threw me back on initial spray but after about 30 minutes.... I loved it! To me, it smells luxurious! Imagine you are out walking and in front of you is a billionaire's sophisticated wife. She would be wearing this. It smells fresh, clean, high end! I do think it will be my signature scent for spring and summer!

This starts out as a zesty, fresh, effervescent fragrance. A good fragrance for warm weather or after leaving the gym. After it dries down, it starts to smell like a citrus dryer sheet. Very fresh; a little too fresh for something to wear all the time, but still good for working out, being out in hot weather, etc.

brightly fresh mandarin oranges with fresh peppery notes and coastal cypress greenness. Feels like peeling fresh citrus by the amalfi coast as breezes pass through the trees above you.
