Desert Wood

This is a beautiful fragrance. One of my TOP. The best woody scent I've ever smelled. On opening it is slightly spicy thanks to the pepper and ginger, but it lasts only a short time. Very soon the scent turns into a wonderfully smooth, creamy, slightly smoky wood scent. The combination of nutmeg, saffron, sandalwood with a bit of incense is fantastic. Very smooth, soothing and mysterious. It's not killed by the chemical lemon like a lot of other woody scents. I have to constantly smell my hand :-) unfortunately it's a limited edition and apparently can't be bought anymore. I found it at a local store and bought the last 3 bottles. When it's gone, I'm going to miss it a lot. I can't smell any other scent that is similar

Truely deep fragrance, inspiring and mysterious. In my opinion, this Novellista perfume fulfills its function the best: evokes a stories. Nutmeg and pepper start with spicy opening, which walk smoothly to incense and saffron. Chilli adds a subtle but piquant punch to the aligned aroma. The fragrance is tasty enough, but with santal, it is even more. The base is grand and sophisticated. Comforting, elegant, dainty. I am truely enchanted. Novellista is usually avarage for me, but this is far more than an ordinary: Desert wood is masterful. --- Projection is not strong, fits velvety to the skin. Longevity about 5 hours.

This one reminds me of a rainy, cold day in the forest near a house with fireplace. Dark, mysterious, woody and with a prominent incense note. Somehow this scent relaxes me, it's deep, spicy and heavy as a scent. Definitely not a blind buy and more suitable for men. I wouldn't go for a full bottle because it's hard for me to pull this off.

This perfume is actually so incredible. It's actually so unique I've never tried anything like and I feel like it's the best novellista fragrance. Unfortunately it is only limited edition and for the longest time I couldn't get a bottle. Thankfully they brought it back shortly and I finally got myself a full bottle.

Smokey goodness in a bottle that serves you a deep incense scent almost touching the dark side of the tar. Then it opens up the balsamic and leathery notes. I really dig this juice. The only downside is its longevity, powerful at first but lasts only about 4h.

The opening is so strong it makes me sick, the spices are too much and it smells absolutely bitter. As it dries down and loses the spicy quality it becomes very smokey and not bad, still, the spices are insufferable for me. I am sure that some people will love this, but for me it's a big pass
