#22 of My Fragrance Journey Novellista So Delicious - Sweetness with a Secret I wanted a gourmand that wasn’t just... sugar. Not the candy-shop kind of thing. Something softer, warmer, something that would sit on the skin like a blanket but still surprise me. Then I found So Delicious. The name sounded a bit silly at first, almost too obvious, but the juice inside? Oh. It’s special. First spray, and it’s like vanilla ice cream melting over warm cake. Fluffy, creamy, so bright it almost sparkles. The kind of sweetness that makes you close your eyes for a second. But then, just when you think you’ve got it figured out, the honey shows up. Not thick or sticky, but glowing - laced with saffron, like golden threads weaving through the air. Suddenly, the whole thing shifts from playful to... intriguing. There’s pistachio and cardamom hiding in there too, a nutty spice that feels almost like a whisper before it fades into the honey-vanilla heart. It keeps the sweetness from being one-dimensional, gives it teeth, a pulse. And the drydown - god, that’s where it gets addictive. Still sweet, yes, but now deeper, darker. Tonka smoulders underneath, almost tobacco-like, grounding all that lightness in something more serious. The musk doesn’t shout, it just warms everything, like the glow of skin after laughter, or the last note of a song that lingers in silence. It’s beautiful. But it’s not innocent. There’s a little shadow running through it, like sugar laced with smoke. That’s what makes it so good - it’s not just comfort, it’s comfort with depth. Performance? Enough. Five, maybe seven hours, projection that sits close after the first burst. It’s versatile, but I like it best in quiet moments, when I want sweetness with weight. So Delicious isn’t just a gourmand. It’s a mood. A smile, yes, but the kind of smile you remember later, wondering what it meant. And for the price? It feels like stealing happiness.

Novellista So Delicious is listed as unisex, but to me this is clearly a feminine fragrance. There is absolutely nothing unisex about it. And I cannot believe I am saying this, considering I usually prefer clinical, aldehydic and extremely clean scents, but I genuinely really like this sweet gourmand. The opening is dominated by pistachio. Saffron and honey stand out the most to me, while vanilla, tonka and musk create a smooth background that holds everything together. It smells like pistachio cream drizzled with warm honey and lightly dusted with saffron; not childish or unbearably sugary, but rich, soft and very well blended. The scent pyramid is extremely well constructed and the fragrance develops beautifully throughout the wear. It does not remain a flat wall of sweetness; the nutty, spicy and creamy elements slowly shift and become softer as it dries down. The fragrance is great, but the performance is a complete disaster. On my skin, it lasted around three hours before becoming a very soft, pleasant and powdery skin scent. I can imagine that stage smelling absolutely beautiful on a woman, but considering how good the fragrance itself is, the weak longevity is seriously disappointing.

The last few weeks I was in the search of a fabulous honey-vanilla-summer scent and this is a masterpiece. Not only is this scent affordable compared to other niche brands but it smells so realistic. It is a slightly spicy honey on the dry down. It opens as a fluffy cake with vanilla ice cream on top making it addictively fresh and then the honey and the saffron kick in. The longevity and projection are insane and my skin usually eats up expensive perfumes like nobody’s business! Today I liked Mandorle from Sora Dora and while thinking if I need a full bottle of it, I sprayed So Delicious on the other arm. Well. 7 hours later Sora Dora left the room, So Delicious is here to stay. Inoffensive beast!

Perfume created for comfort and joy... Nutty and spicy opening is soft and intimate, but distinctive and solid. Pistachio aroma and cardamom create natural initiation for saffron, which melts in the vanilla. The base is sweet and gourmand, but not sticky. There is tonka facet, a bit dark and tobacco-like. The composition is playful and truely Delicious. The musk is here only to warm-up the notes, but doesn't take control. It is cozy, optimistic and kind. But don't be mistaken, not naive- this spicy, nutty and sweet charm is bewitching and completly addictive... --- Moderate projection, good longevity (6-7 hours). Nice in winter season.

most fitting name ever, i want to eat the bottle and drink the whole thing - on a slightly more serious note i think this can be an all-year perfume just use very sparingly when it’s hot, it also smells slightly synthetic in a GOOD clean and in a kinda?? modern way (see my user for why i cant explain things), it’s like a lighter kind of sweet that isn’t too heavy and bakery-ish

This is like an innocent, watercolor Girl Of Now edp with citrus. It's sweet, but not sticky sweet, it's fresh and clean, but not freshener type of fresh. I actually quite like it and could see it as a dumb reach spring/summer scent. Pretty!

Sweet, pistachio dessert opening notes spiced with a hint of cardamom and a short, zesty citrus touch. The dry down reveals a sweeter, gourmand vanilla base. On fabric, it lingers as a calm, understated veil for almost the entire day.

My boyfriend has this, its so feminine and i love it, i can smell it on him for around 4-6hours with just 4 sprays (2 neck, 1 chest and 1 hair) it smells like you have just opened a bag of sweet caramel coated nuts in the opening.

so delicious is a balanced and delicious gourmand perfume. It transposes me into a forest and Winni the bear appears in my path with paws full of honey and hazelnuts. It's very nice this perfume perfect for cold weather

This is really delicious and addictive however the more I test it, the more I feel this is more almond marcipan (along the lines of Tullaytulah Majda Bekkali) and not Pistachio . I think I'll get a bottle after all😃

A spicy unisex vanilla, sweetened by the honey. A very comforting scent, great for fall and winter imo.

I quite dramatically pulled away after initially smelling the opening of this fragrance as it was so harsh, but the more I left it to settle the more I appreciated it. I know that it is technically a gourmand, but it really doesn’t scream ‘gourmand’. It’s very soft and has a big green note, but there is a subtle sweetness from the vanilla and tonka base and honey comes through the longer it is on the skin. It’s a really interesting and unique fragrance to me - I really don’t think it smells similar to Kayali YPG at all. In fact, I think this scent is more cardamom and bergamot than pistachio leaning. The longer it wears the more I get pistachio, but cardamom feels like the more dominant note here. Really interesting scent profile - not one I would typically reach for but I can really appreciate this scent and it was great for layering with ultra sweet gourmands to make them more wearable. Lasts for HOURS.

Smells very much like Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 Kayali - I thought, when forst time smelled it :D but this fragrance is much softer ,deeper, warmer. It is less soaplike too. So Delicious Novellista is perfect for cozy winter, while Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 Kayali is for spring/summer. So Delicious Novellista at beginning is citrusy and spicy, fresh and shocking, at the middle much sweeter and a bit spicy, makes me feel like im sitting near fireplace in warm sweater, at the end - I still smell fireplace, but now i have phistachio cotton candy near me

This is nice enough - a nutty, citrus dessert which reminded me of D&G Devotion, even though they don’t smell exactly alike. I find that mediocre Novellista performance means their perfumes are overpriced for me. This was nice to wear as a sample but I’m not compelled to take action to buy a bottle.

The opening lives up to the perfume's name and is addictively good; rich, gourmand, sweet, spicy, and fresh, with a nice touch of depth. The top notes create a complex scent that smells like a combination of pastry with pistachio cream, vanilla, and rum. After a while, the peanut note takes center stage, while the fragrance unfortunately loses its initial complexity and freshness. Towards the end, vetiver and musk become noticeable. 6/10

It smells like caramel-nougat. I picked up a citrusy note at the beginning but it's was gone very soon. At first you can definitely pick up more spice, but it dries down to just this stable sweet scent of nougat. I don't like wearing sweet fragrances but I do enjoy just smelling it to make my nose happy 😁

When I saw the pistachio note I thought it was gonna be a dry, gourmand pistachio scent, but it actually reminds me more of jpg elixir. This is loud honey, tonka and vanillin with some citrus at the start, it feels very cheap designer-ish which isn't something I was expecting it to be, it has the typical designer scent that im no fan of. If you're interested in a good pistachio scent I highly recommend jardin cythere which is a drier, truer pistachio than this.

The start is similar to Paris Corner Khair Pistacio. but the drydown is masculine musk. My mom even said it smells like cat piss. Not pleasant at all after those first 5 min it turns into disgusting experience. I have not liked any frag from this house. they are either less version of something that already exists or something weird (not in a good way), like this one.
