Black is Black For Her

This is a super affordable fragrance and I have been very pleased with many from this brand. Typically they are a good value for the money, considering you can get them on Jomashop for $10-$15. I was hoping to really like this one, but it’s not my favorite. Unlike the other review, I don’t get any honey. I definitely pick up a fruity floral musk. I do like it, it’s pretty and wears well. It just isn’t entirely my type of scent. The white musk gives a delicate powdery airy feel. I just don’t care for powdery scents and prefer a more animalic musk. However, I think a lot may like this. It doesn’t smell as inexpensive as it is. The longevity is on the low end of moderate, about three hours. So you’re gonna need to reapply for a full work day. As I said, I’ve tried many from this brand and they do age well! The longer you store it, the better and more potent they seem to get, at least in my experience. Some last through until the following morning. As far as I know, I don’t believe this is a dupe of anything. At least nothing I recognize, although this brand does do dupes. I’ll tuck it away and see what a couple months do to it. I’ll update with any changes. Overall it’s a good value fragrance and you can’t go wrong, but if you’re looking for a budget fragrance, I would suggest going with a middle eastern dupe before this one. However, you’ll most likely have to wait for a maturation period. In my opinion, they seem to last longer and have better sillage than this one. Edit- about an hour in I start to get an interesting sweetness I hadn’t smelled before. Could be a great layering fragrance

Wow, this is a pleasant surprise! I wouldn't say this exactly smells like the note breakdown. Still, there is a very simplistic yet accurate way to describe this fragrance. It smells just like raw honey! I don't typically like honey fragrances, but if you've had both raw and pure honey, you know they are quite different. I find raw honey more palatable, apparently to the nose as well. This is a sweet, creamy honey with no tinge of urine, which is what usually turns me off of honey scents. It can probably be worn in any season, except perhaps the warmest days of Summer. I really don't know how Nuparfums produces such great quality for the price, but they continue to impress.
