Johra

This fragrance is a bit perplexing for me. When I first got it and did a test spray on my skin, all I could smell was Delina Exclusif. It was a spot-on clone of Delina because of the bergamot, rose, and incense. I left it in my closet for about a week to let it mature, and it changed. It doesn't smell like Delina Exclusif anymore. ...Erm, no. Never mind. Scratch that. That's not completely true. It's not entirely different from Delina in the dry down. I'm getting about 15 percent similarity to Delina Exclusif and 85 percent something else. They're quite different, but I can detect some of the DE DNA in here. What's the other 85 percent you ask? It has Hibiscus Mahajad, which many people compare this frag to. The problem is Johra doesn't have hibiscus listed as a note, even though it has a strong hibiscus smell (or at least a hibiscus tea smell). Johra is slightly smoky, so it resembles Delina in that way. The smokiness also pushes this fragrance in the unisex direction. It still leans slightly feminine, but I think a lot of guys can comfortably wear this if they enjoy rosy or floral scents. My favorite thing about Johra has to be its fizziness. For some reason, it smells bright and *sparkly* for hours and hours. I feel happy when I smell it. The longevity for this is beast mode. I don't have any issues with its performance. For me, it projects strongly for at least three hours after maturation, and its scent completely fills a room. The only downside I can think of is the presentation. The gold-colored plastic on the Johra bottle feels tacky and cheap, but since most people won't ever see the bottle in my closet, it's not a big concern.

The notes here are wrong but nevertheless, this perfume is truly a combination of something very feminine and ethereal. It reminds me of walking in a sunbathed flower field on a very hot day but at night. I get the hibiscus, rose and magnolia in the opening - a little tart and floral. Then magic happens when myrrh, blackcurrant and other base notes come through. It's creamy, warm and so so feminine. I've never smelt something like this. Whether I wear this perfume, I get compliments. It lasts like 10 hours on my skin, I've smelt it even after shower. On clothes - I get days. Total beast mode. I worried a little before purchasing, since I don't like sweet and overly vanilla fragrances, but strangely, this fragrance isn't sickly sweet, it isn't even that sweet I'm my opinion. Johra is warm, creamy and bright from the florals and blackcurrant. Like hot jam or tea. Now, I only wear it in the evenings because I can't really imagine wearing it in the summer heat, it may be headache inducing for scent sensitive people, since it's so prominent and performance is huge, but I think there should be no problem in colder months and spring fro daily wear. To me, it's a perfume for special or romantic occasions.

I have quite a few dupes of hibiscus mahajad including the OG. So I put each one on a test strip and after 24hours I could still smell Johra and MC hibiscus mahajad but the other 4 dupes all faded and I could not smell them, 48 hours later and the OG HM still going strong on the test strip and so was Johra. Not an exact dupe of the OG as that has depth due to the leather note but for a lighter summer scent Johra is fantastic. I will use Johra in the warmer weather and during the day and save hibiscus mahajad for night time and when I want a full bodied fragrance. As for scoring on lasting power the Khadlaj royal prestige lasted the least amount of time; second best was Paris corner ibisco nirvana. Worthy runners up are rue broca league premier and fragrance world hibiscus magic as they was the cheapest at less than £15, so can be used liberally without guilt. At the end of the day they all smell pretty similar so buy what you can afford. The OG will always be special to me as it paved the way for all the dupes.

I love hibiscus tea, it's one of my favourite drinks, so I was interested in trying a perfume that replicates such a lovely, familiar scent. To my surprise, they have captured a realistic hibiscus note perfectly in this one. It's tart and fresh with a zingy burst of something to accentuate the hibiscus, maybe lychee or spearmint? There's a bit of rose in here but it's not overly strong at the start, and the whole perfume remains fresh rather than sweet, which I love! As it dries down after a few hours, the rose becomes more prominent and a vanillic sweetness comes into play. The perfume leans feminine and smells like a beautiful hybrid between Hibiscus Mahajad and Delina Exclusif. Rose and lychee combos like Delina/Delina Exclusif have a tendency to smell powdery and sour on my skin, but i'm pleased to report that this one doesn't. Overall, i'm loving this one! Absolute beast mode projection and longevity, be warned if that's not your cup of tea. I bought a sample, which had likely already matured.

Johra is very pretty and the quality is excellent! 🌺 Hibiscus is definitely the star of the show, with rose and black currant singing backup. The other notes are dancers. I do detect a bit of myrrh because it does have depth, and it keeps the florals from flying away. The vanilla shows up and gets sweeter on the dry down. Stays nicely on skin. Compared to the OG I prefer this one; because the leather and cinnamon notes aren't present. It smells lighter, cleaner and more feminine while somehow still being a beast! Less powdery than Delina Exclusif and more tart than Rose 01. I know the bottle gets roasted, but I don't care😂...I think it's pretty.😍🥰

This has been my best Arab buy of 2025. Wow. My niche snobbery has been completely destroyed this year...This is as if Delina exclusif and hibiscus had a baby - with a dash more vanilla and sugared florals. It’s absolutely stunning. A sugared, vanilla almost honeyed hibiscus and rose with a creamy woody base. So addictive! I own way too many niche fragrances and this smells just as expensive and most importantly projects and lasts forever!! Seriously get a good 12hrs on this - only have had that with Amouage perfumes.

Shut. The. Front. Door. OMG! This is absolutely intoxicating. The top notes mixed with the rose and then a bit of incense sneaks in. The musk and vanilla makes it all so girly and creamy. I wore this for a week before writing this review. This is unique. It projects and it lasts. Best bottle of 2025 hands down. I ordered another bottle on day 3 of wearing it. 😍❤️💥

Pretty sure this is a twist of Hibiscus Mahajad and Delina Exclusif, but I’m still early in testing it. Can confirm it is a twist of those two, and phenomenal! It has me layering the originals when I go out.

This is one of my best purchase in terms of arabic perfumes, i understood is a dupe of Hibiscus Mahajad, i did not know that when i orederd it.It is a beautiful scent also a beast mode, i still feel a litle bit of something sintetic in the drydown but nevertheless is a good fragrance, especially for the amount.The bottle is horrible...:))

Thank God I tested this perfume before blind buying. The reviews seemed wonderful and I couldn't wait to try it. Unfortunately this perfume to me and my friend smells solely like heavy acrylic paint. It is absolutely disgusting and it gave me a headache. I don't know if it was a bad batch because it was the tester in the store. It smelt the same on a testing strip and on my wrist. Just yuuuuck. This perfume is a crime against humanity.

The real notes for this according to Nusuk are: Top - hibiscus, rose petals, vanilla orchid Middle - myrhh, black currant, spearmint, osthmanthus Base - musk, sandalwood, amber With that being said this fragrance is repulsive. It makes me sick.

I’ve had this for 3 months and so far it’s nasty. It smells like a very raw traditional herbal shop, it’s very nauseating and I don’t think it’s gonna improve. Just a disgusting mess!!

I remember thinking this is not a 1:1 dupe of Hibiscus Mahajad; It had this creamy rose effect to it's very spicy and woody layer... Even the Note breakdown of Johra now makes sense that they indeed combined the DNAs of both Delina Exclusif & Hibiscus Mahajad for this. Genuis!
