Mahab

I smelled Guidance 46 on airport, loved it ,kept the blotter in my purse, and ever since my purse and everything in it smells like Guidance 46 .Since I don t see myself spending 330eur on a perfume ,I searched for a good dupe. Mahab and Guidance 46 both share the oriental nutty-rose-sandalwood DNA ,but the opening is different ,Guidance is more nuttier while Mahab is for me more spicier (I ve got an older batch -2025,so that is why probably what others get more fruitier with time goes spicier) .And that more spicier means the entire spice souk! A nice blend of cinnamon, cloves, vanilla , nutmeg...and some dates(?!) gives it the warmth and sweetness and then comes the nutty- rose- sandalwood combo. Mahab is neither girly-compot nor the trendy pastry smell,it is complex,refined and elegant. I have to say that I like it better than Guidance 46 ,and I payed 10 times less ..

I usually don't expect dupes to be very good, but this one is the best dupe I've ever blind-bought! It is similar enough to the OG that I won't be rushing out to buy Guidance anytime soon now that I have this. The dry down is more similar to the OG than the initial opening. Sadly, overall my husband and kids aren't a fan of this profile, so I won't be wearing it for them. I do love it, however, and am really happy I tried out this perfume thanks to the reviews. The projection isn't nuclear as Guidance is, but it is very strong. And it lasts a solid 8 hours on my clothes. This truly is an excellent dupe for such a hard perfume to copy!

I have never smelled Amouage Guidance, so my review is not about similarities. Nusuk is my favorite Arabic perfume house because of the raw and high quality ingredienta they use and you can smell the quality in their perfume. It’s rich, mature, heavy, creamy. It’s not discrete at all and I have difficulties imagining young woman enjoying it (I am 39). It smells like money, like self-made woman who went through lots of shit and turned out the best version of herself: powerful, wise, strong, fierce. P.S. the fennel note is “in your face”, so if you don’t like fennel better stay away

Straight out of the box this smells exactly like pussy. I can't believe someone actually managed to make a perfume that smells like pussy. Incredible. 10/10 Maybe I should call her. Update: compared to Decadent Dream from Maison Alhambra, this smells much, much better. Obvious higher quality, persistence, projection, everything. Also smells like clean, fresh out of the shower pussy with a little bit of that woman's ass natural smell so, as a heterosexual straight man, I love this one. Decadent Dream is lesser quality, sweeter and more easygoing. Get this one instead.

Bloody hell. I did not think I would find a dupe that hit the nail so entirely on the head. I find guidance so intoxicating, a favourite out of all my amouages, and probably in my top 5 of all time. Every inspiration until now has lacked the quality & depth of the original. Mahab is a superior fragrance - dense & complex, very long lasting and strong, absolutely impressed as Guidance is a hard act to follow. Got mine from BeautyBase for £35 EDIT: came back to say - due to the differences in the dry down, dare I say it, I might actually prefer this to Guidance...

I love the OG sooo much but considering the price I am quite stingy about using it and yet it’s the scent I crave so often. Hence I am always looking for good dupes for it. I just got this and I’d say that it’s performing well right out of the box. It’s slightly nuttier than the OG and slightly more heavier making it more autumn-winter scent also the silage and projecting is not as good as the original. Not that this is lacking in this department but it’s still less than the original. It’s ok to scratch the itch.

Got to smell and test this out today. My goodness it's so strong. Gave me a massive headache but smells so good at the same time. This is one of those you spray once and that's it. I sprayed twice on my wrists 7 hours ago and I can still smell it even after scrubbing my wrists with soap. And I got a couple of compliments from strangers as well. I don't know how the og smells like but this is potent stuff. Smells great but POTENT. Maybe I'll get a decant, I don't think I could use up a full bottle.

This is my most complimented perfume ever so this is a bias review. It’s a BEAST so few sprays are all you need. It’s smells so close to what it’s inspired by it’s not even funny, so you have to LOVE the DNA if not you’ll extra hate it because it’s sharpens all aspects of that DNA so it’ll be a love or a hate no in between. For meeeee it’s a love and back up bottle worthy because it’s a timeless fragrance in my book. It so good that I can’t wait to wear it again... like that good.

I read the reviews, the notes (incence, osmanthus, sandalwood are among my favourite notes) and decided to try it regardless of being a clone of another very pricey perfume. I discovered a very feminine not too sweet fruit with incencey-nutty sandalwoody touch and a velvety hint of osmanthus flowers. A beautiful surprise! (The bottle is not my thing though)

Absolutely stunning dupe of Guidance. I’m gobsmacked. Especially in the dry down - wow wow wow. Mahab scratches the Guidance itch for a teeny fraction of the price and I am cheering. 100% worth your money if you love Guidance but you’re a normal person who has bills and won’t drop $600 on a fragrance. Mahab will remain in my collection permanently.

I always appreciated Guidance for its uniqueness, it's just magical for me(it's more than a fragrance), so...I thought the price was worth it for that alone. But after getting Mahab out of curiosity...damn, it's getting harder to justify paying hundreds of dollars for the OG ever again.

This is awesome. Smells exactly like Amouage Guidance. If you are looking for a dupe for that, this is the one for a fraction of the price. 🩷

One of my favorite perfumes. I don't know what Guidance smells like but this is unique and complex. 10/10.

This is deffinitly duping guidance. But the opening smelled a bot off for me. I Think it was the lack of creaminess, or maybe it was because it was the first spray of the bottle? After 15 minutes it smells Exactly like it, except my nose picks up slightly more hazelnut. Which is probably why it is compared to 46. And I agree that this is STRONG. Probably my stringent projecting Perfume in my collection. I also dont go nose blind so Thats also a plus. Usually i hate all rose fragrances, and i probably wouldnt have liked this Either, if I had not smelled this on someone Else. But its so unique to me, unlike delina and the other rose perfumes.

My opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt, because I have never smelled Amouage. Mahab nusuk is lovely. I love it! Whilst I like omniya better (because it's is a little powdery in the dry down), this one has a slight animalic note than Omniya doesn't. Mahab is a beast mode projector and longevity is eternal. If you're on a doubt, Omniya is more people pleaser from beginning to end, it's so beautiful... Mahab has a very strong personality and it's way more complex. Both are stunning.

This is very similar to Guidance, bit I go nose blind to it, so I still prefer the OG. OG is a bit stronger, but, as I got Mahab only yesterday, I think it will get more projecting with time

agreed with the comment below - very very potent just like the go Guidance. I am an oversprayer and even I will only spray max 3 sprays of this else it can choke. Good dupe of Guidance.

I don't really like this perfume, but it has gotten me compliments. I can't even explain the smell, it smells like a very elderly lady and sometimes it gives me a really bad headache. I usually get the dupes and then proceed to get the real thing. This is how I ended up owning YSL babycat and Soie Malaquais amongst others. if I like the DNA, I go ahead and buy the real deal. If this truly is the Amouage Guidance DNA, nah, I cant spend hundreds of £ on this, never.

I have tried two other Guidance dupes, Zara’s and Lattafa’s. This is my least favorite. To be fair though, this doesn’t seem to be a scent profile that I enjoy. I want to, but wish there was zero pickle. They all have pickley sandalwood, but this is the worst one. I will say though this is nuclear. Nuclear and synthetic. One spray and I could smell it for close to 24 hours. I can still smell that dill on my bathrobe and that was a few days ago. Also, I have no idea how old this sample is so maybe time will tame it. I will let this have a time out and come back to it in May. I didn’t like Peace and Love in the beginning either, but my sample has matured for about 9 mos now and smells so much smoother. I get no pickle now. It’s a rich, warm, creamy, soothing scent and I’m considering buying a bottle by summertime. I think though in the mean time, I’ll put a dent in the Zara. I like the Zara better than the Nusuk, but it does have a slight pickle, but my bottle is new so maybe it will get smoother. And I know the LATTAFA bottle will have to age to perfection. If I never edit this, you’ll know that this did not improve.

This perfume smells weird. I bought it because I wanted something like Signature pearl from FW and while they share some aspects, they are bastly different in the way they develop as time passes by. This one has that spicy facet for a couple of hours while the spicyness in SP lasts like 5 minutes no joke. It is an unpleasant spicy accord that reminds me of the human musky spicy smell. As the hours go by it gets smoother and that spicy accord dissapears while leaving this pleasant peach and rose mix in which none of the notes go over the other with an incensy-nutty backbone that finally makes everything smell good. It is not worth it, get Signature Pearl instead. It smells way better and you can feel every accord by itself that then dries down to that pleasant mix of rose peach and incense and, it performs and projects way better than Mahab.

This perfume is incredibly strong and long lasting, especially considering how affordable it is. The performance is impressive for the price, but unfortunately it’s not a scent I enjoy. I’ve had it for several months and I still can’t get used to it. Every time I smell it, I get a sour, almost pickled note that just doesn’t work for me. I can see it appealing to someone who likes very bold fragrances, but it’s not something I reach for.

I am confused about people saying this is very complex and amazing. Ill try to let it macerate but for now that fennel note people talked about (which i dont think is in guidance) is very pronounced and overbearing. Not understanding how they put so much fennel into this then released the fragrance thinking that would be enjoyable. I'll keep giving it more chances in the future though.

It reminds me on turkish delight with the taste of rose. Shall see the drydown. Edit: no, its a big no from me, cheap rose scent smell. Longevity is good.

Unsuccessful blind buy for me. All I got in the opening was strong fennel. And it was giving gherkins. I don't really want to smell like this. No peach, no jasmine, no incense, just flat fennel and I really don't like this note. After about 2-3 hours it calmed down a lot and I got some hazelnut (not listed in notes though) and red fruits which made it definitely nicer than the opening. Maybe I have should have done a full wear day, maybe it'd transform into something I'd love, but I hated the opening so much that I returned it the same day. As for performance... It's not nuclear, but it's long lasting. I sprayed it literally once on my wrist and I still smell it hours later, even after taking a shower. I don't think it's a safe blind buy. I'd recommend sampling first, it's not going to be everybody's cup of tea.

Absolutely disgusting. I thought it was my nose, I gave my son mahab amongst other new perfumes to get a sniff and chose his best; when he sniffed on mahab, his face turned to a frown. He said the it smells like dirt. To me it smells like iodine mixed with hospital cleaning spirit with a little clinical airfreshner. I couldn't spray it on myself.

I never smelled Guidance or Guidance 46, but I own Bayn Al Absar, and Mahab doesn't even come near it. It just reeks. My worst blind buy ever, and I own over 400 perfumes.

It smells like dill to me. There’s no rose, sandalwood or fruits to my nose.

Affordable dupe of guidance with great performance 😍😍

Like Guidance, it's starts off like an empty can of chicken noodle soup, but peachier than Guidance. Overall this is dryer, less sweet and creamy,. The osmanthus note isn't doing this any favors. The drydown is similarly ETERNAL, but much less pleasant than Guidance. Kind of like rancid nuts, moldy fruit and plastic. I have a tiny decant of Guidance and I love it but I do think it's a weird fragrance. This is weirder, and not in a good way. I blind bought this about a month ago and keep spraying it on fabric/clothes in my home (not while I'm wearing them) to decide how I feel about it without going noseblind. I do go noseblind anyway, and the next time I leave and come back I can smell as soon as I walk in the door. Two sprays on a hand towel lasted almost a week. I can't bring myself to wear this out in public.

This one is not an easy, everyday wear and honestly, neither is Guidance. From my brief memory of Guidance on blotter, this feels very close - easily 90% the same DNA. If you like that rich, intense incense profile, you’ll probably love this. But be careful because this stuff is powerful. I overdid it with more than 5–6 puffs and ended up with a full-day headache. It doesn’t let go - lingers from morning to night, and even the next day I still catch it in my hair with every movement. Projection and longevity are no joke here. I'm a chronically over-sprayer, but I've shot myself in the foot with this one. Amazing if you enjoy the Guidance-style DNA. Just don’t over-spray - seriously.

Mahab is a potent and long lasting scent. It’s quite unfamiliar and is new realm of scents for me. It’s dry, and spicy. To my nose It opens like a rosy/peachy powdery dust, and in the dry down in an hour, I don’t smell any fruits, but I get the rose, mixed with a very dry wood, and incense, I smell fennel but it is mixed with a wood scent in a way that it’s not fennel anymore but creates a plastic smell! It’s warm but not sweet. like an antique apothecary wooden furniture that is painted in a plastic base color. it’s also classy in a way! Possibly because of its uniqueness.

I own Amouage Guidance and tested them side by side, I can confidently say Mahab is about 90% similar right off the bat, it smells almost identical to Guidance. That said, this scent profile isn’t for everyone and definitely not a safe blind buy. But if you already love Guidance and want to save some money, Mahab is honestly one of the best alternatives I’ve tried so far. It also lasts a long time maybe not quite as long as Guidance, but easily enough for a full day of wear. I’ve been getting lots of compliments wearing it too.

I don’t know what to say... it’s giving me heavy black pepper with a metallic sourness. It feels sharp and not well blended. I don’t detect any fruits or incense. It may need some maturation, I guess. At the moment, it’s a no on its own, but it can work with layering. Edit: Combo that I'm loving now I think it's really good ! I sprayed this for my mum to smell. She fell in love! It reminded her of her childhood and playing amongst the boulders of a dormant volcano she lived by. Apparently fennel grew there. So I gave it to her. I found this too challenging to wear anyway with the powdery fennel smell. Now I smell it on my mum when she wears it and it smells beautiful. But she has this magic that transforms any fragrance ethereal. Must be her skin.

An excellent fragrance inspired BPy Amouage Guidance. I’ve had this fragrance for a couple months. I pulled it out today to test it. Amouage Guidance is one of my all time greatest fragrances. I tested them side by side. I couldn’t tell the difference. It’s a beautiful beast mode fragrances. Now that I have Mahab I really don’t have to buy Guidance again. It’s that good.

I got mine today.i sprayed mine to office. Even though it is. Very powerful, It is not on the face heavy screechy annoying smell. By afternoon i am getting this sandalwood smel and my collegues are asking what is that smell.Even I am searching not realising.so u can say it is a loooong lasting lingering smell but not tooo on the face,uniques presence but wont annoy you

I haven’t smelled all the Guidance dupes yet, but so far this is the best. Considering the notes are so different it really hits the mark - I’m so glad I have it. Now I can spare my Guidance but enjoy the scent more often. (Super strong though, so go easy - or not 😜😶🌫️)

This is probability not for everyone. If you want to smell unique, cozy and elegant, this might be for you. I personally like this odd smell of pencil shavings in the opening. That must be the fennel.. yes it similar to Amouage Guidance. This is long lasting too.

This may possibly be stronger than Guidance after a few weeks of owning it. I almost can't breathe with 2 sprays. What did they put in it? It is a lovely scent. Elegant. The only scretchiness is the performance which I love and hate.

First 15 min was more Guidance-like, after 20 min the fennel came forward and I wish it didn’t. Similarity to Guidance is like %80 for me. Drydrown is weird, less woody l. For a Guidance dupe I like Decadent Love better.

I adore this, so beautiful and cozy. At work it pleasantly filled the room. No complaints, loved by all. The alligator and the glitter in the cap makes me happy. This is my favorite scent right now.
