Oud Hindi

This perfume is NOT a flirtatious dance of fruity delights trust me - whoever wrote that is playing tricks with you. This is extremely close to Russian Oud by Areej Le Dore. It's animalic with a beautiful balsamic /aromatic note that hovers around 3" off the skin. It reminds me of Friars Balsam with benzoin and styrax in the mix. I was hoping it would be a lot darker and barnyard - ish after reading the reviews but that note only appears in the opening 5 minutes or so. I would say it leans masculine, although a strong confident woman could rock this all day long. I'm giving it a strong 8.5/10 and would have gone higher if the animalics lasted for the duration. I don't recommend this if you aren't a lover of real oud - this is not a Western style playful oud by any stretch of the imagination; this is deep, meditative oud with class. The search for that elusive dark, brooding heavy stallion scent continues....

I was hoping for something very heavy and barnyard - ish but this only holds that note for around 5 minutes before opening up. Please ignore the reviews claiming this has fruity lychee etc because this doesn't at all - I think they are confusing this with something else. I'm giving this an 8.5/10 because it's gorgeous but would have scored it higher if it was more animalic /barnyard. I would guess it leans masculine, although a strong woman with good taste could rock this all day long.

This is one of the most beautiful Cambodi/Hindi oud sprays what I ever smellt! It starts with a wet, barnyardy oud and dries down to a sweet oud and wood fragrance with some green and also dark, almost chocolatey notes that make it addictive, sensual and intimate. Of course, one has to love the smell of cambodi oud to appreciate this fragrance but it is mindblowing how can something at this pricepoint be so beautiful and true to the real fragrance of pure oud. I wish the projection and longevity were better but probably thes will develop with time. I think this is wonderful for layering, too. Pure, delicate, animalic, sensual oud, this is.

I found this brand in a shop today and tried few of the perfumes from this house. This is one of them and omg I have never smelled anything so bad. It smells like horse or horse pee. I had to wash my arm 3 times with soap then use alcohol to wipe the smell off.

@Pikey Mick. If you go to the pages of the lychee-floral "reviewers" you mention, (conspicuously all between 4/1-4/4 2024), you will see three things that scream GPT chat. A)none of them have any activity B) they all post the same 4 fragrances in their listings,and (the most obvious giveaway) C) two reviewers here giving the exact same word for word review! This is the world now. I think we can expect more AI influx in future, so it's on us humans to call it out so we can get better at spotting it. And so we can focus on people having real experiences with perfumes!😉

This perfume, I really hope that the bottle I got had gone bad, because if it smells like the juice in the bottle that I got..It is hands down the worst perfume in all categories that I ever tried. Like cow hair/poop/"leather" mixed with the cheapest brandy and a cheap hairspray! Again I hope something was off with my batch. Thats why I do not rank it from 1-5.
