Sama

Sama is honestly the perfect summer fragrance to me. What makes it so good is that it does not smell like a basic blue or generic aquatic cologne. It has this fresh citrus peel, clean air, mineral water, and wet rock feeling that makes it smell natural and calming. It reminds me more of a cool creek, ocean breeze, damp stone, and fresh air than a typical “shower gel” summer scent. It is pretty, fresh, and easy to wear, but still has character. A lot of summer fragrances either get too sweet, too loud, or too boring, but Sama stays clean and smooth while still feeling interesting. It has that Pacific Rock Moss type of vibe where it smells airy, watery, slightly citrusy, and mineral without becoming salty or sharp. To me, this is one of those fragrances I could wear all summer and not get tired of. It works in heat, it is easy to reach for, and I never feel like I am going to overwhelm people with it. It is simple in the best way: fresh, clean, natural, and beautiful. For me, Sama is the perfect summer scent. It is the kind of fragrance that makes you smell effortlessly good without trying too hard.

real person here, i really love this. not going to lie at first it was a bit of a disappointment, just lemon scented detergent vibes with a hint of bergamot that was way too masculine and medicinal to my nose. however, i decided to give it a chance and let it sit on my skin for a little while and i am so glad i did, because not too long afterwards this turned into a phenomenal, truly unisex summer fragrance. it was a blind buy, so i’m so glad that i don’t regret it at all. however it is quite obvious that the reviews are botted, the lasting power is absolutely nowhere near eternal on this one, i would say it’s weak to moderate. same thing with the sillage. i still believe it’s a great fresh summer scent but do take the reviews with a grain of salt as some may not reflect the truth. my honest opinion though is that this is amazing, and i suggest you wait a couple of minutes to get rid of the harsh cleaner opening and truly experience this fragrance for what it is.

I'm impressed. I got this fragrance 3 months ago because I knew the maceration process will have to wait (like every clone fragrance I own), for it to be ready for the hottest month of the year. Because wearing it right out of the box, I wouldn't recommend it. 3 months ago when I tried it, it was smelling synthetic, harsh, like some weird herbs that lasted 30 mins before fades into nothing. Today, it's absolutely beautiful. The longevity improved a lot too. I never noticed before the "ozonic" note in a fragrance so much like in this one. When you close your eyes, it becomes a photorealistic experience of sitting next to the Pacific Ocean looking at the sunset and the wind blows in your face, without a worry in the world. S tier hot weather fragrance that requires patience if you want to enjoy it. 10/10

Very sophisticated and safe to use citrus scent, opens with lemons but not too citrusy . Right amount of tangy that doesn’t hit you right in the face. One of the very safe blind buys and can be used in this summer season with weather already over 40 degrees i wear it oftenly in gym. Very much unisex reminds me of mancera lemon line. Citrusy, mossy , marine kinda frag which goes well with indian weather, slightly earthy too smells like a when rain falls on a beach 🏖️ damp, slightly earthy with marine notes. Performance is the downside you will have to keep re applying it but i use mostly for gym session so easily lasts and projects moderately in my 1.5 hour session!

I originally wrote a review of this not liking it very much. However, I’ve let this sit for a few weeks and I’ve come back to it and I actually really enjoy it. It’s a citrus and musk scent that I’ve come to really like. For $30, this is actually very good. For whatever reason, some of these dupes need some time to sit after you spray it. Now that it’s macerated and sat for some time, this is excellent for the price. Will definitely be buying another one soon. You gotta go heavy on the sprays though. Longevity is meh, about 2-3 hours, but you can reapply without remorse because of the price.
