Prodigieux Absolu de Parfum

This summer I decided to give one more chance to the huile prodigieux d'or waiting in my wardrobe for nearly ten years and after observing that the quality and the scent remaining the same as the first day, I decided to buy a FB of Nuxe parfum prodigieux. The parfum is very nice, fresh and uplifting and caring but I think the sillage and longevity are not that good. It stays only one hour or two. So, I felt great curiosity about the absolu form and this morning my purchase arived. The application gives a feeling of luxury and selfcaring indeed. It is well thought and well designed in my opinion. Parfum absolu is not for summer that is for sure. Because the feeling it gives is not freshness as it happens with the parfum form. Absolu form is rather an intense and dark fragrance but sweet and delicious and like taking a walk in a summer garden in the middle of the night. There were only two reviews here when I ordered absolu, one review was negative and the other was positive. I am glad that I listened to the positive one and did the purchase since the absolu really smells good and it is further good from the parfum form. The bottle contains 30 ml and I think that amount will be enough for this fall and winter. I await colder days to use my absolu daily

I finally managed to try this yesterday. It's very oily, as texture, not the smell, and that's probably the point. My dry skin absorbed it very quickly with no trace except this fluffy cloud of sensual goodness. It's not big, just enough for you and the chosen ones that get the privilege to be close to you. It's delightful and incredibly smooth. Probably more appropriate for colder months except for the hardcore oriental lovers, it might be just a little bit too thick for summer. As a big fan of Huile Prodigieuse, sometimes I just want the feeling of it to last longer and Parfum Prodigieux was supposed to do that. But it smells oily and and I don't enjoy it as much as I do Huile. It's also more bright, thing I usually appreciate. Somehow Absolu is more faithful to the spirit of the Huile Prodigieuse and not just in texture but in the smell as well. It behaves exactly as I hoped it would, like perfume, intimate and rather close to skin. Few drops at strategic places will make you feel it for hours. The perfect touch of understated simplicity and comfort.

I tried the Le Perfum version and hated it - it had almost zero resemblance to the Huile Prodigieux and equated to an instant headache for me. I wore it once, and eventually I tossed in when packing for a move as the mere sight of the bottle gave me a headache. Thé Absolut de Parfum Nuxe, however, is significantly closer (almost dead on) to the huile essence and provides the same familiar close to intimate feel and texture I was looking for. I am thrilled. This will be a constant in my collection. It is perfect for intimate moments, day and night in fall and winter, even night time or date nights in fall and winter. I sometimes wear it for comfort when I am dealing with insomnia, and it’s a go to for me after a rough day. Please don’t ever discontinue this.

Blind bought it, but can't bring myself to wear it. I smell honey and incense, too heavy and warm for my liking. Love the bottle and the silky oil texture, though. Maybe layering will lighten it up?
