Rêve de Thé

One of the simplest pleasures in life, body care. And Nuxe does is well. I received samples of Rêve de Thé body scrub with my usual Huile Prodigieuse and I loved it. It was so refreshing, aromatic, bitter, sweet and difficult to describe exactly how it smelled. I have cleaned and cooked my fare share of rhubarb and this is not it. Maybe, kind of, like an idea of rhubarb. I love rhubarb so much, but not all rhubarb are created equal. My favorite is the pink one in my in-law's garden, it's over 200 years old. Nothing, and I mean nothing, smells like that rhubarb. Add just a handful of strawberries and you have the most addictive jam or tarte/pie on earth. This Rêve de Thé is one of those almost abstract fragrances that is light, fresh and not that fleeting. Some might think it's sharp, but it's what works wonders in summer. Longevity is 3 - 6 h, very good for this sort of thing, but that's not the point. During soul wrenching heath, you need this light, eau de cologne, wellness stuff every few hours. We can't all spend our days lazing, swimming and showering, so this kind of fragrance helps survive and feel a bit more composed human being. I love how there is entire line of Rêve de Thé, shower, lotion, deodorant, fragrance. The only negative point is how the tube of body scrub is easily clogged and pain in the a***. It should be in the tub, like the Rêve du Miel one. That line is a winter pleasure. A year later....I still love it, but it's a summer thing because it doesn't work in other seasons. It's screechy chemical mess just as Sun eau delicieuse and other summer treats from Nuxe.

This is such a hidden gem. A non-fruity tropical vibe with a soothing herbal backdrop. So refreshing, cooling on the skin, and surprising long lasting. I sprayed it on before bed and could smell slight traces in the morning, with better longevity on fabrics. Out of all the 'refreshing' and 'energizing' perfumes I have, this is probably the most truly refreshing. It works for the gym, as it's light and unobtrusive, but is also prefect for slightly more formal settings, work, and general everyday wear. It's obviously great in hot weather, and right now in near freezing temps it is also surprisingly delightful. The cold brings out a slight floral nuance. It's super casual, bright, and extremely unpretentious. An ideal, affordable, everyday fragrance.

Tried this today and was impressed at how long it lasted - could still smell it after being in the sea - light and fresh and agree there was something that also made me think of Jo malone wood sage and sea salt too , only I think I prefer this (and it’s a fraction of the price).

To my nose, it is really similar to Jo Malone's Wood Seage&Sea Salt. Lasts on my skin about six hours. I think it is enjoyable for daily use, if you like fresh, nice, optimistic crowd pleasers that won't offend anyone, anywhere.

The Nuxe Rêve de The deodorant is really good and aluminium free. I love it
