214 Arabian Oasis

Brazil has been doing Middle Eastern/ Niche inspirations better than anyone! Seriously. Back in 2017 Natura came out with Essencial Oud, which was my first ME inspired fragrance. It is still my favourite oud-based fragrance to this day and after all the hype of ME / Niche these last 5 years. O Boticário Group has, over the last years, also released a few fragrances inspired by the ME: Elysée Line, The Blend Line, Alchemist's Oud, Hadiya, Diva Suprema, and now, Arabian Oasis. I tip my hat on how Brazilian fragrance brands work with ingredients, in general. They take international inspiration and ingredients, and blend with Brazil's own ingredients, and that makes everything very special. The Botica 214 Line is inspired by touristic experiences. Each fragrance is inspired by a city or a country. In this case, Arabian Oasis was inspired by the Middle East. Arabian Oasis for women opens up with fruity sweet cinnamon - dates and apricots dusted with cinnamon, which then blends with ylang-ylang and jasmine, and settles with ambery woodiness. A Beast mode fragrance, to be worn in mild weather and evenings. It fills a room, if over sprayed, and it lasts over 12 hours on moisturized skin. The drydown is beautiful! I'm not into heavily woody fragrances, but this one has won me over.
