Coffee Duo Woman

If Angel and Mon Guerlain made love on a benjoin cloud. This is one of those that keeps surprising you as the years go by. That's the only perfume I have a backup bottle because they re-designed their entire coffee line and that usually means reformulation. The edt I have is pretty long-lasting, better than a lot of edp's out there and I suspected they could also "water down" the formula since it's an edt, boticário has a history of changing formulations to weaker ones or at least less expensive to produce formulas for large productions (now that my bottle is 5 yr the scent is way more long lasting and 5x more complex). The new bottle is brownish amberish... And how could this perfume be that color? This perfume is milky and powdery, having hints of a sweet red fruit at the distance... My brain can't disconnect from how good the white bottle smells, maybe that's that.

i LOVE this perfume it has all of my favorite notes and i love how it came together. Warm, a little spicy, a little woody, creamy and soso pleasant but. BUT. literally no one likes the smell on me 😭😭😭 i was so devastated bro i fell in love with it when i first smelled it in the store, id bee line for the boticario to spray it on until i FINALLY bought it. i still love it but it just doesnt seem to please any of my friends or family. I went out with it on new years and one of my friends asked who literally smelled like they bathed in lavendar (guess who). maybe i have a peculiar nose or maybe it just didn't work with my skin. i still wear it though it's one of my favorites, it lasts pretty long on the skin and literally eons on your clothes.

Sem dúvidas não é um cheiro bobo, por isso ele não é tão facil de agradar. Em contrapartida, recebo sempre elogios usando ele. Acho que depende muito da pele de cada pessoa. No frasco eu sinto muito o amadeirado, mas sou apaixonada por esse perfume em mim, justamente porquê ele não fica tão amadeirado (que eu não curto muito), e sim um doce cremoso quente e fechado (beeem la no fundo da pra sentir o café). Apesar de não gostar de perfumes amadeirados eu acho super necessárias as notas amadeiradas dele, que equilibram muito bem o leite. Eu não recomendaria comprar ele às cegas, mas vale super a pena cheirar e testar pra dar uma chance a ele.

Coffee Duo was a recent blind buy for me. If you love coffee, this is an easy one to like. It's milky with a slight masculine edge and a gourmand twist. I get the milky notes which keep it smooth. Hints of lavender add a bit of freshness and masculinity, but it's balanced out. The coffee note is very prominent to my nose. I honestly can't pick out the other notes; it seems to be very well blended and smooth. A very comforting scent on a cold day. Do try if you're a lover of coffee scents. I see this one not getting the recognition it deserves. I'll have to update on longevity and sillage. Very lovely scent!

This is a lovely fragrance, with a bit of a masculine twist on it! Sexy, sultry and creamy, earthy (with the coffee, benzoin and the patchuli making their presence well known), with a bouquet of flowers that know how to behave and bloom amidst the musk, the milk and the silky sandalwood!! The longevity in my skin is awesome (very VERY long lasting: like 12h long, and with shower)! The sillage was good, not a monster in that department, but still pretty good!!It stays close to the skin. Love it. Nuff said.

Sou absurdamente obcecada por perfumes cremosos! Dito isso, também sou louca por café! Esse perfume fica perfeito com a mistura de warm spicy, café e âmbar, são minhas notas favoritas. É um perfume docinho, maduro, dá uma sensação de mulher forte, feito mais para o cotidiano e dias frios, eu diria

Blind buy because a) Milk was perceived as the dominant note; b) Laudatory reviews from Fragrantica Brazil, reiterating "cremoso" (creamy) as its main characteristic; c) Affordable (36€ for 100ml bottle) and moreover, got it on sales at -25%, whoo-hoo Well, that frag took a highly unexpected turn, furthermore, is quite difficult to describe! Milk and lactonic sandalwood duo is present, while coffee is faint and agreeably enhanced by patchouli. Cold-steeled French lavender makes up for that extremely sweet benzoin. That barber shop effect imparts Coffee Woman Duo a conventionally masculine character. Could be millennials' equivalent of 90's CK One, as far as unisex couple fragrances go!

At the opening, it smells a lot like a mix of "Black Opium" + "Private Show". A little fruity-sweet (but not citric), and a little nutty-lactonic. Excellent sillage! As it dries down, it becomes very similar to Mon Guerlain (in fact, it's spot on for "Guess Seductive Noir"). I really like all those scents, so I very much enjoy how this fragrance toggles through all of them. It's definitely not how I expected it to smell, but now that I am at the end of my decant, I will miss not having this scent in my collection. When all those other bottles are finished, I would consider purchasing a bottle of this.

so interesting that I only pull this perfume out in the spring, not the winter. I don't get the warm spicy notes, I just get a delicious sweet, creamy mix that I think is delicate enough for warmer weather.

This was a blind buy for me. I love coffee notes on perfumes, but this was a huge miss. The top notes is extremely synthetic and soapy, the kind of smell that just tickles your nose and makes you sneeze. The coffee scent is very faint, and it dries down a little too sweet for my taste. After a couple hours I was left with this intimate soft smell (mainly sandalwood and patchouli) that was short lived.

I wore this and someone asked why I smelled like play doh.

It smells strong and very old fashioned to me - I would love to like this scent since a bottle was recently gifted to me by a very well meaning person but it gives me headaches that don’t go away until I wash it off throughly. I opened the gift wrap and tried to keep a smile on my face but they know me well and could tell I didn’t know what to do... to me it’s disappointing mix of woody and old fashioned florals, drizzled with sweetened milk and garnished with lots of patchouli. Boticário has some nice scents but this isn’t one, at least not to me. The bottles of the collection are pretty but that’s all. All I can think of when I look at the bottle is that it looks and smells like it wishes it was Bianco Latte but that’s just me projecting, since I adore Bianco Latte and wouldn’t mind having a spare bottle... maybe if I wish hard enough...

Esse perfume foi algo que me surpreendeu, eu fiquei com bastante medo porque muitas pessoas falam que tem cheiro de cigarro ??? Eu não senti absolutamente nada disso, eu borrifei ele na fitinha e na pele, na fita ele ficou um cheiro estranho. Sinceramente meio sintético, mas aí eu decidi passar na pele. E MEU DEUS ficou algo tão cremoso, tão delicioso. Um cheiro magnífico eu com certeza compraria ele, mas talvez possa não ser um cheiro que agrade a todos. Eu recomendo experimentar antes, principalmente na pele. Pois o cheiro na fita é completamente diferente de como ficou em mim.

This is a light sweet, somewhat generic scent. I was hoping to get more lavender but it isn't coming through. I'll let it sit for a while and come back to see how it develops.
