Although it has so many elements in its description, all one feels, after sitting on the skin, is the freshness of the bamboo. Leather and cedar come behind. Thank goodness it's weak because male skin is usually warmer than women's. It is a discreet scent and has to use little and let the skin do the rest. Do not use on the neck to not be so obvious, better to feel this aroma in a more dissipated and mysterious way.

Revisiting my wardrobe, i decided to review this one, after reviewing the original Dimitri. This one is a lot more usual than its predecessor. It has a lot of the Dimitri DNA, but aimed to a different crowd. To simplify thing, Dimitri is the 30 year old cool uncle, and On The Rocks is the 20 year old modern nephew. They're from the same family, and share a few characteristics, but are different individuals, from different generations. On The Rocks reminds me of a cold Mojito, added the bamboo and a few flowers. Very 'every-guy-scent'. Not really special, since every brand has its own version of this fragrance. Aromatic and fresh, but tamed. Sweet, but not candy-ish. Manly, but not aggressive. Between Dimitri and On The Rocks, the second would be certainly a blind buy, and safe for gifts. I would repurchase the first one, though. Sillage and longevity REALLY poor.
