Egeo Banana

was hunting for that banana scented perfume! unfortunately i tried the popular 'lattafa eclaire banoffi' perfume, knowing well that most warm gourmet scents give me a headache. but the positive reviews were difficult to ignore... i hated it. all i got was slight alcohol on first spray and a deep spiciness thereafer. after two hours, i'd smell my wrist and love the creamy scent it died down to, but it wasn't a banana pudding smell everyone promised, and most of the time wearing it, it smelt like rubber to me. super strong perfume that was hard to remove. I know that people say with this perfume you need to leave it on the shelf for a few weeks to marinate, but after trying this egeo banana perfume, it showed me exactly what i was actually looking for in a banana scented perfume! when you first spray it, it smells exactly like natural slightly unripe banana. nothing interferes with this initial scent! then it quickly settles to a scent close to the skin, but fresh. unfortunately that banana scent doesn't last long... BUT, if you spray this onto your clothes also, it seems to stick around for longer! Editing my review to say that this perfume doesn't seem to stick around for long regardless (not sure if i'm just not smelling the subtle notes but i want to top it up every hour... ahh! like another reviewer said, i suppose it is quite similar to a body spray rather than perfume. i will have to keep testing it out!) nothing in this perfume is headache inducing, and as someone who loves scents that lean into clean and citrusy, but still love that light warm vanilla some perfumes can leave, this is great. the bottle is so cute also! big fan, it's up there with my favourite fragrances now, and i think i'll leave my search for another banana perfume as i don't feel it will get better than this at the price range i am looking at. longevity isn't great but i have so much fun spraying it that i don't really mind. i wish it did linger for longer but i've heard this is difficult to achieve with banana scents even with higher end perfumes. if you want that slightly unripe but realistic banana scent, along with an almost fizzy-pop-like refreshing uplifting scent, this is it! it fades to a warm vanilla that isn't overbearing at all, just natural, as if you always smelt like that.

Actually very pleasantly surprised by this perfume that I curiously blind bought after reading an article on banana notes. The banana here is very strong at first, not necessarily synthetic to my nose and actually quite photorealistic and pleasant, but it quickly dries down to a lovely sweet and musky scent that sits close to the skin. It's definitely not fresh, but so comforting on a cold winter day, I cannot wait to try and use this in the summer (it is great for layering too!). It holds up well on clothes and hair, I definitely don't regret buying this little cheapie banana gem (and this is coming from a banana skeptic lol!) :)))

I love this so much more than I thought I would. The other watermelon release is meh and I didn't bother. This one smells like an ice cream shop that sells a lot of banana splits. It's sweet and slightly woody fragrance but not like banana marshmallow candy. Once the banana settles it's a nice creamy skin scent. Sillage and longevity aren't stellar. I reapply throughout the day. I would repurchase the next time I'm in Brazil if I run out, which I feel I will.

Experimentei em um quiosque, usei o hidratante de banana em baixo e borrifei a fragrância. No saída, com essa combinação, sinto cheiro de bala de banana da marca Fini. Depois, no coração, começo a sentir banana e mirtilo. Finalizando, no fundo, sinto uma baunilha bem docinha. Durou cerca de 5 horas na minha pele com o hidratante.

Imagine o Egeo Free Fire. Imaginou? Agora Imagine passar o hidratante de banana da linha Cuide-se Bem e logo em seguida o Egeo Free Fire por cima... É isso! rs. É bom? Sim! "Maneirinho..." Maaaaaasss eu acho que de banana O Boticário acertou mais no hidratante msm. 😌
